Chapter 16.

Time passed and League of Legends was finally released to the public, Johnny and Sue were in charge of advertising about the games, and the change of work direction that the Baxter building would take.

As Alex expected, the Fantastic 3 have a not so small fan base, when the game was released the game welcomed its first batch of players, which was roughly a little over 40,000 people. But as the days went by, it increased little by little, at a constant but a little slow pace.

Alex's daily routine changed a bit, as he quit his job at Angelo's pizzeria, the poor Italian man even asked Alex on his knees not to leave. But Alex picked him up off the ground and explained that he was currently working on a big project of his own, so he had to quit.

When Angelo heard Alex's explanation, he reluctantly accepted Alex's departure from his pizzeria, as Angelo understood better than anyone that a man needed to have his own path and make his own decisions.

Of course, Alex told his parents about his project, and who he was working with. For he would not leave them uninformed regarding his current life, as that would only form a wall between them.

There's also the fact that Alex taught Peter and Ned about League of Legends, and they can imagine what happened next...

Alex would attend school, and then he would arrive at the Exodus Infinity building, formerly the Baxter building. He was working hard to increase the number of champions available in the game, he had decided that when he reached 40 champions he would stop for a while, and only release 6 champions per year after that.

Felicia also came with him, since she needed her to record the phrases for the female champions; the rest was arranged with a couple of voice filters, so Alex at this time did not need as many voice actresses. So was Benjamin. As strange as it sounds, Alex was having him record the voice for the champion who was most like Benjamin.

He had even decided to make an exclusive skin for that champion, inspired by Benjamin.

That was another matter; the skins ... each champion that was going to be released needed a minimum of 3 skins, so that the players had a reason to buy them.

The current League of Legends game did not look like it did in the beginning, Alex made sure it had graphics similar to those of season 6, as well as the way to play the game. He even had the idea of leaving the game this way for the next 6 years, when it's time for season 7, he would change the entire rune system.

But Alex did not want to stagnate all his life in video games like League of Legends, that would be a waste of his IQ, at some point he will hire people who will only concentrate on creating new ideas for the game.

Although Alex already knows that he will add in the future… URF, Blood Moon, Star Guardians, One for All, Odyssey, among many others.

He had enough ideas to keep the game fresh for at least the next 10 to 12 years.

"Hey Alex… how about this?"

Alex, who was sitting in the chair in his new office, saw Felicia next to her that she was showing him a sketchbook. Since Felicia insisted that they should share an office...

That's right; Felicia was very committed to being useful to the company, beyond just lending her voice to the female champions.

Felicia wasn't very skilled at things like advanced physics or chemistry, but Alex found that she had an innate talent for drawing and digital illustration.

She has spent the last few days practicing, and coming up with new ideas to help Alex progress League of Legends content. His improvement has not been monstrously fast like Alex's, but it is fast.

On the notepad there was a drawing of a red-haired woman in killer clothes, Alex couldn't help but think that she looked a lot like a certain champion who hadn't yet been added to the game. He did not understand how Felicia could come up with it ... but neither would he break Felicia's illusion by telling her that he had already thought about it, especially after seeing Felicia's hopeful look, because this is not the first idea he presented to Alex .

He had previously taught her barely recognizable squiggles, so Alex dismissed them without questioning her, making her feel a bit bad, but Felicia wasn't about to give up.

"I like the path you are taking, but you still have to improve your drawing" Alex said with a face that would be to Felicia, whose gaze seemed to shine for a moment, as she received a compliment from Alex after only receiving the word "No".

"You know ... Doing this makes me think about the future, we are close to graduating and I wasn't sure I wanted to go to a university to study a degree ..." Felicia said as she leaned back in the chair behind her desk and looked to the roof.

But Alex didn't interrupt her, as she knew that Felicia felt she had something important to say.

"But now I'm sure I want to study ... I want to study art" Felicia declared directing a serious look towards Alex, who only shrugged.

"It's your life, do what you want with it" Alex said simply as he gave Felicia a serious look: "But whatever you do, you have my support" Alex declared making Felicia smile, because at this moment she felt that Alex was the only support she had in her life. Because not even if she wants her mother would say another word besides the fact that she brought shame to her life.

"And what will you do Alex?" Felicia asked as she looked at Alex, she was quite curious to know what she wanted to do Alex in the future.

"Well ... I think I'll go to the side of advanced mechanics, cybernetics, and biotechnology or things like that" Alex had many ideas for the future, and for that he needs to take the knowledge that is only found in the best universities that study these topics.

Felicia was shocked, but then she realized that Alex in a nutshell was a genius, so she could expect something like that from him.

"Won't it take you a long time to study those majors?" Felicia asked a little worried, because she did not want Alex to spend the next 10 years studying.

"I don't think it will take that long, Tony Stark graduated at 19, I'm sure I can get over it" Alex said simply as he focused his gaze on the computer again.

"But Tony Stark started when she was 15 ... you're already 16" Felicia said as she rolled her eyes, but she honestly wasn't surprised with Alex.

"I know, I'm sure I can graduate in a year if I try hard"

Felicia wasn't sure if Alex was being confident or arrogant, but when she was about to say something, Sue walked into the office.

"Alex, it's about time we check our income" Sue said as she had a sealed envelope in her hand, as Alex and she had agreed that they would not see anything about her income for 2 weeks. . And that moment had already come.

When Alex heard Sue say this, she realized something important… Tony Stark would be back tomorrow, and Alex had something very important to do.

End here.
