Chapter 1 This might be my last chance

As the sun rises for a new day. David Woke up in pain as he remembered the attack yesterday. " Is that mutation gone?" When he tried to stand up he feels pain all over his body. Then look at the Injury he got on the shoulder. As he's checking it the deep claw marks as not fully healed some blood from it as well but the blood it's not red looks like it's turned black. That not good means the virus moves through his whole body." Well frank looks like I don't have long before I am one them". The one that got me have the ability to make self faster but only short burst but still dangerous I got to warn the others before it's too late ". He reads the smoke boom as he plans to make it explode over their heads. But pain is getting worse he feels his arms shaking. " David whispers I need to pull through ".

He does his breathing exercise to calm his nerves. Then throws the smoke boom and study aim shoot the smoke boom and it explodes smoke fall upon the group of zombies start to get away from the smoke. David says with a loud voice." This not going to last long you guys need to move out there ". After that, he moves to a safe place to watch the group of zombies. One of them came over to him David aim his weapon at the zombie heart and head. He shoots when hit the head he sees the zombie fall to the ground with its blood but not down it's still moving. David decided not to waste time gonna start moving. He goes to friends and leads them to his safe place. One friend speaks up.

" So it's this a safe place to rest". His name is Cody the tech wiz. David says " Yes this where I been for months I can't believe been 4 months of this crazy nightmare but this place was lot of salt so they stay away from this place".
