"Kakarot!!!!!" Vegeta screamed in anger as his power level flared intensely like a solar explosion. His aura was blinding and slightly pushed back Nappa, Goku, and myself.
'Wow… I guess they're all gonna get it before I do. Also… that scream sounds remarkably similar to a mentally challenged Saiyan that I know.' I thought.
"That power level of his is pretty impressive, don't you think, boys?"
I asked. The 50 times multiplier was authentic and genuine. A few moments ago, he was nothing but a fly to me. Now, he was a mountain peak unparalleled to anything that I had ever seen… Or any of us for that matter. From 7M to 380M. Vegeta had reached the impossible.
"He… he finally did it." Nappa looked on in awe. He didn't know how to react considering he was witnessing a legend happen before his very eyes.
"He…" Awestruck, he dropped to his knees.
"Where is all this power coming from? What's with his hair and eyes?" Goku while almost trembling asked.
"No. What you are seeing is a transformation that is exclusive to us. That transformation is none other than the Super Saiyan transformation. And unlike the Kiao-Ken, It doesn't have any negative drawbacks."
"That…power," Nappa uttered. I had long since taught him and Vegeta the value of mastering Ki and its intricacies. They no longer had to rely on their scouters to detect energy. They were full fledged martial artists now, so it was understandable why the 7-foot Saiyan couldn't stand on his feet.
Vegeta's eyes were constantly shifting from pure white blank orbs to sky-blue. The transformation was caused by anger and frustration on an animalist level. Vegeta was currently in a battle for control with his urges that pushed him to destroy everything around him.
"Goku…"
A bead of sweat fell down his face as I captured his attention.
"Yeah?"
"While he's in this state, I want you to test not only your limits but his as well. I want to see how far you've come." At my words, Goku swallowed with difficulty. Nappa's eyes, on the other hand, were about to pop out of his head.
"Wha-What? Djin, you realize that he doesn't stand a chance? Judging from the energy that he's exerting, I'm not even sure if Frieza would stand a chance." Nappa stated in panic.
Even Vegeta was surprised at his own power as he looked down at his hands in disbelief. From the large jump in power, he must have felt as if he was in another body as a whole. No one could stand in his path. He was invincible.
Goku began to approach the transformed Vegeta, catching the attention of the complete Super Saiyan who had taken control over his body.
'That power… It really is unbelievable.' I thought to myself.
"Kakarot." His and Goku's eyes locked.
"That's me."
Goku replied with undertones of being nervous. This fed Vegeta's ego and caused him to smile deviously.
"After all the times you beat me… You are now in a position where you are the one who is looked down upon. This power that I feel currently… It's more than I ever output before. From your body language, I can tell that it's consuming you… And I can tell… That it's something you still have yet to reach."
Vegeta then glared past the sweating Goku in my direction. His glare was deadly, but I know what it implied. It was indicative that I was lying about Goku achieving Super Saiyan. To his smolder, I just shrugged my shoulders. I would explain my reasoning later. To my gesture, Vegeta shook his head in disappointment. Possibly because I was able to get under his skin to the extent that I did.
"You're right. I never seen anything like that before… But here's the thing." Goku took a deep breath and stretched.
"Even with that boost, you'll regret it if you look down on me. And that's a promise. Don't forget who beat you 400 times." Vegeta remained calm, but I could tell that he was slightly unnerved by Goku's willingness to confront him. It was understandable. How could not be disheartened after he was borderline tortured by Goku?
"Those victories inflated your ego. They would have falsely inflated the confidence of anyone, to be fair. But here's the thing…"
Vegeta got into his combative stance.
"That 400th time will be your last victory against me. Your defeats from here on are inevitable. I will show you your place in the grander scheme of things." He stated while switching his smile to a frown. Before Goku could react, Vegeta already had his fist lodged in Goku's stomach. At least, that's what it appeared as. In the last moment, I watched Goku use his arms to protect his sternum in a fraction of a microsecond, weakening the deadly impact.
The force of Vegeta's punch was so powerful, Goku was blasted backward.
His arms had large red welts that formed on his forearms. I looked at both fighters in surprise for two reasons. Goku was able to guard in time, while Vegeta's punch was so extreme that his right glove melted slightly.
'I should have used more durable material for his outfit." He was wearing his usual Saiyan gear that was displayed in the android arc of Dragon Ball Z but instead of the blue long-sleeved jumpsuit he wore underneath his armor, his was now black. Every part of his battle suit that was yellow was now a navy blue and matched the blue eyes of a Super Saiyan. Nappa had also shared the same garments, but his battle suit was red where Vegeta's was blue. Goku had Now grown a liking and was now sporting the robes that I created for him. They were his red and black robes that were displayed in Dragon Ball Heroes instead of the ones he had been wearing since childhood.
"That hurt," Goku stated while massaging his arms.
"Good." Vegeta retorted.
"I guess it's time that I get serious… There isn't any room for me to play around, is it?"
"This is my redemption arc, Kakarot. I told you already. You won't win this time around… or anytime soon, for that matter. I suggest you use every ability you have in your arsenal."
"I'll keep that in mind," Goku grumbled. He then took a deep breath as he cleared his mind.
"Kaio-Ken times 7!" A giant red aura consumed Goku. His veins all over his body started to gruesomely bulge while his power instantly shot up to Vegeta's which jarred the surprise of Nappa. Vegeta slightly had the edge in numerical power level value, but Vegeta had something he didn't. That something was stability.
"What? That skill put him on virtually the same playing field as Vegeta! This is… incredible." Nappa whispered and began to ponder.
"What is their power level?" Asked Nappa.
"Goku, 375M. Vegeta, 380M."
"Absolute monsters… No… Legends."
Nappa stated with a shaky voice. Looking towards him, I say that he had a shaky smile with watery eyes.
"Nappa… You okay?"
"Yeah… It's just…" He began to wipe his eyes.
"I never thought that I would be able to see the day… " He shook his head.
"What's so special about today," I asked curiously and empathetically. I had grown to like Nappa over the past few months. Through having conversations with him, I had learned far more about Saiyans than I ever would have from looking at a wiki.
Contrary to the Dragon Ball media that I used to absorb, The Saiyans had a rather rich history. Nappa taught me about the ways that the Saiyan Government was run and enlightened me on the scientific advancements that our people had made and strived for. He gave me insight into the values of the Saiyan people and society as a whole and enlightened me that they were a functional civilization.
They were far from mindless beasts who only knew combat and war. They had culture… They had art. They had knowledge, but due to their colonizing nature, they had been viewed throughout the galaxy by other races as tyrants, but the Saiyans were so much more. Although they were a warrior race, the reason they were so obsessed with combat was that since the birth of their race, the art of war was viewed and admired the same way another society would have valued the concept of religion. Honestly, a little bit of me wanted to resurrect planet Vegeta the more Nappa spoke of our people… but that little bit of me was microscopic.
I would have never done something so stupid and careless after hearing how many planets they colonized before Frieza even came into the picture. They were a powerful race and power corrupted indefinitely. Even if the majority of the Saiyans weren't bad my responsibility was to be Earth's guardian. I was left on Planet Vegeta alone to burn alive without the help of a single individual. Although I was born there, it was not my planet, therefore not my responsibility.
Other than that, I had grown to know Nappa as a person overall. At times, he was wise. At others, he was caring. Sometimes, his mood was grim, other times he was supportive. Now, he was happy.
"It's the day that I have hope again… It's the day where I no longer consider myself a slave to a tyrant…I know that I'm still weak. I probably will be that way for the remainder of my life. After all, I'm nearing the end of my prime. But even with me being in my prime, I won't ever have that fire that burns within those two. I can tell just from the looks they get in their eyes while they train and spar together. With all that being said, I feel like anyone with the same tail as us, I can live through them."
"You know… This is only the beginning, right? The beginning for them. The beginning for me. The beginning for you."
"You're probably right… but this right here? I'm satisfied." Nappa smiled. I nodded and looked onwards to the battle.
Goku's red aura clashed with Vegeta's Golden one giving quite the beautiful light array.
"Is this good enough?" Asked Goku with sweat droplets falling down his forehead.
"That will suffice," Vegeta retorted cautiously. He knew that he was stronger than Goku currently, but even though this was the case, when power levels arrived at the million mark, the value in numbers started to diminish. There was a larger difference in someone who had a power level of 8M to 10M, but that difference drastically decreased when numbers like 390M and 400m were compared. At higher levels, moves and techniques were game-changers.
"This is my transformation." Stated Goku confidently.
"I see… Enough talk." Vegeta was surprised at the fact Goku's power level shot up so high, but he wouldn't back down. He didn't before achieving Super Saiyan, so why would he now, especially when he knew he was stronger than Goku?
Goku and Vegeta flew towards one another with vapor streams behind their backs.
"*Boom*"
Their fist clashed with a powerful explosion that launched them both backward. But due to Vegeta being stronger, Goku was launched back further. But by no means did that put stress on him, in fact, he was thrilled as a grin from ear to ear formed on the battle manic. Just from the first impact, he could tell that this would be the fight of his life.
Goku while in Kaio-ken would experience excruciating pain as it was breaking down his body on the molecular level and felt like he was frying from the inside out, but didn't care not one bit. This was the first time he had an equal.
Vegeta and Goku then flew at each other once more causing a large wind storm, but this time, Neither of them was knocked back. While having their forearms pressed up against one another they exchanged a few words.
"Impressive." Stated Goku.
"The same could be said to you."
Vegeta retorted.
Goku then pulled his leg back and kicked Vegeta with all his might with a Muay Thai kick to the thigh with enough force to destroy a mountain range, but only flip him 180 degrees. Vegeta gritted his teeth in pain but took the opportunity to counter and launched a kick upside-down aimed at an unsuspecting Goku's forehead.
Vegeta's kick was like a deadly blade that would have split Goku's head in half if he hadn't leaned back at the very critical moment he did. That wasn't to say that he dodged the attack unscathed. Quite the opposite. Goku's forehead had a 5-inch slit going down the middle that dripped blood profusely. Goku jumped back for a retreat in the sky while Vegeta chased him like a rabid dog.
"Awfully unsaiyan-like for you to be away from me like this, Kakarot!"
Goku remained silent and flew faster and faster with his fist extended out in front of him like a superhero while Vegeta remained on his trail. Goku then put his hands to his forehead, using instant transmission to teleport next to Vegeta, and implanted his knuckles into the Super Saiyan's face which caused it to warp like a rock causing a pond to ripple.
"*Boom*" Vegeta was slammed into the ground with a terrible impact.
He laid on the ground for a moment and slowly got up. Not much damage was inflicted except for Vegeta's busted lip. He looked at Goku up in the sky, and swished the saliva in his mouth for a bit, then spit out a tooth and a mouthful of blood.
"I have to admit… That took me off guard… It won't happen again." Vegeta wiped the blood from his mouth and flew up to Goku with his elbow extended while Goku floated in place, preparing himself for the next attack. As Goku was about to catch the approaching, Vegeta maneuvered around Goku with a 360-degree spin and attempted to elbow Goku's head, but Goku dodged by leaning forward and countering with the same kick that Vegeta used on him moments ago, but in reverse. The strike was so unexpected that Vegeta was clipped on the chin.
Even though he was taken off guard, he ate the attack as if it didn't hurt at all and barely flinched. Vegeta then grabbed Goku's leg, kneeing him as hard as he could in the stomach which took the breath out of his lungs. Vegeta then knee him three more times and was about to go for a fourth until Goku had hugged his leg with a grip that could uproot a tree with the slightest movement. Goku then hammered Vegeta's kneecap as hard as he could which knocked it out of place which caused shockwaves of pain and stunned his adversary.
As Vegeta was attempting to recover, Goku retreated and dropped to the ground head first, catching himself and landing on one knee. Vegeta was powerful, therefore getting hit by him was the equivalent of a human getting shot with a shotgun at point-blank range. Even though I had built up his durability by quite a large margin, that didn't prepare him for fighting the apex of our race. He was now coughing up blood aggressively attempting to get oxygen flowing through his lungs once more.
He needed a few moments to catch himself. And so did Vegeta, as he was in the sky forcing his kneecap back into place.
In just a few moments, they recovered heading straight into battle once more. Vegeta and Goku began to clash punch after punch in the sky, moving so fast that it looked as if they were teleporting. For me, it looked as if two fighter jets were colliding.
These two individuals were fighting with extreme ferocity. Vegeta and Goku were on the same level virtually but they fought in very different ways. Although Vegeta was stronger, due to sheer technique and overall combat adaptability, Goku had the upper hand.
Goku aimed a right hook at Vegeta's head but was grappled midway. Vegeta had wrapped his body around Goku's arm like a snake in an attempt to snap it in half, but Goku was quick to catch on but was too late. Vegeta already had a hold on him. Goku in a panic started to assault Vegeta with Ki blast which caused immense pain to his adversary. With the volley of blasts bombarding Vegeta, his grip loosened giving Goku the opportunity to break out of the clasp. At this, Vegeta attempted to retaliate, but Goku was already preparing for his next attack.
Goku poured ki into his fist causing it to glow white-hot slammed it into Vegeta's collar bone with his ability that he dubbed the Super God Fist. Instantly, the bone shattered, severely disabling the mobility of his right arm.
"Agggh!" Vegeta grunted in pain. Vegeta then blasted Goku in the eyes with a flashbang-like ki blast that temporarily blinded him. As Goku recovered his eyes, he had realized that a large blue orb in the palm of Vegeta's left hand started to warp the atmosphere around its general vicinity. The energy in the ball was strong enough to wipe a planet out.
"Big Bang Attack!" With this attack, Goku turned pale as Vegeta had shot at such close range without fear of himself getting injured by the blast. Goku quickly put his hand to his forehead and attempted to teleport, but it was too late. Right before Goku had disappeared, Vegeta's attack had made contact with Goku's skin. As Goku reappeared, so did Vegeta's attack which detonated causing a large controlled explosion that rocketed Goku backward.
"Ahhh!" Goku shouted in pain as he tried to catch himself.
"Hehe. You thought that I would be foolish enough to launch that? I knew that you would teleport but I had predicted my attack would hit you before you got the chance to run."
Vegeta stated.
Goku was now quite the distance away laying on the ground but this was by no means the end for him. Although he struggled, he managed to get on his feet, tired and exhausted.
"It's not over yet."
Goku snarled while getting ready for another round of battle.
Both of the Saiyans then launched at each other once more in deadly and explosive combat.
While exchanging blows, Goku landed another God Fist but this time it was directed at Vegeta's eye and burst his capillaries destroying blood vessels. Although blinded in his left eye, Vegeta kept his vigor and began to shoot a full power energy blast volley at Goku, who did his best to avoid the attacks with flips and jumps but eventually got caught up in Vegeta's attack. As one Ki orb landed on target, Vegeta continued to shoot as rapidly as he could, pouring more energy into his attacks.
Goku did his best to cover himself but the Ki blast caused many cuts and scrapes. Goku shot up into the sky and closed his eyes, which for a moment, Vegeta observed his next action. Goku then launched a solar flare that blinded Vegeta.
Although Vegeta was already half-blind due to his eye injury, that didn't change the fact that sight was one of his senses. And all sense could be overloaded, which is what happened just now. Goku then flew off in the opposite direction of the battle at his maximum speed.
Goku continued to fly as fast as he could. Vegeta then finally recovered and realized that Goku was in the far-off distance.
"What the hell is he…" Vegeta then thought to himself for a moment as to why Goku would be flying at the velocity he was, but then he started to sweat profusely as his eyes widened in shock.
Before he could react, Goku had reappeared next to him with his foot lodged into Vegeta's arm causing it to bend, fold, then shatter at the elbow.
"AHHH!" Vegeta screamed. But with his amplified reflexes, with his free arm, Vegeta grabbed Goku's right foot and snapped his Achilles tendon with the pinch of his fingers.
"AHHH!" Goku and Vegeta both fell to one knee trying to recuperate. They both had injuries and black eyes. Puffy faces and bloody bodies.
"I guess that skill is more than what I gave it credit for." Vegeta chuckled.
"My skills are nothing compared to that transformation…" They then looked at each other for a moment and nodded in respect for one another.
"It was nice to fight with someone virtually around my strength… I hadn't had a battle this intense for a while."
"This was the first time I was able to battle to my heart's content… I have to admit, it was eventful fighting with you."
"Hehe… Just eventful?"
"Don't push it…" Vegeta stated.
"Alright-alright… By the way, I only have a few more moments in this state that I'm in. I hate to admit it, but you won this one."
"Is this all you can handle? I can continue like this all day long, Kakarot."
"Sorry. But this is my limit. Once my time runs out, my body is gonna be in an even worse condition than it is now. If we continue, I'll probably die."
"Fair."
Vegeta nodded and sighed.
"How did you unlock that transformation by the way?" Asked Goku.
"Rage… unbridled, pure rage. " Vegeta stated.
"What do you by- AGGGGGAGAHHHHHH!" Goku's red aura all of a sudden vanished and his ballooned muscles began to convulse and contort. It was as if his internal structure was shifting and trying to crawl out of his body.
Vegeta couldn't help but be shocked. He watched the man he had grown a respect for start to cease in front of him helplessly.
Now, I decided it was time to step in. Teleporting to Vegeta, I watched as Goku flailed around like a dying fish.
"What's wrong with him?" Asked Vegeta in an indifferent tone.
"He's dying. I'm here to fix it." Putting my hand on Goku's chest. Vegeta sat by and watched me heal Goku until he was in perfect condition and unconscious.
"Why did you lie to me?" Asked Vegeta. I looked over my shoulder to see Vegeta holding his disabled arm.
"One second." I teleported away, laying Goku in his bed then teleported back which caused Vegeta to slightly jump, although he would never admit it.
"I never lied to you."
"I've come up with the conclusion that the reason you caused me to go through that extreme amount of distress is that it is somehow a catalyst for helping me unlock the transformation. But to be equipped with this information, you must know something about the transformation. He obviously hasn't achieved the form, otherwise, he would have used this instead of that inefficient skill."
"To be expected from you. Astute as always. Let me rephrase my earlier comment. I did not lie about Goku achieving Super Saiyan. He just doesn't have the memory of it. I knocked him out before he could use it to its full extent. Think of it as a Saiyan unlocking the Oozaru transformation for the first time."
"You haven't taught him how to maintain the transformation?"
"Nope."
"But… Why?"
"I wanted to wait until another person unlocked it first. That person is you."
I asked while putting my hand on his shoulder to heal him.
"Why? Why was that necessary?"
Vegeta asked.
"It's because I wanted you to have motivation for moving forward. After we killed Frieza, What would have been your reason to ascend higher?" I asked, shrugging my shoulders.
"You might not want to hear this, but you two will always be below me… I understand that the idea of that could be quite disparaging… so, I decided to manufacture both of you new rivals… each other."Vegeta squinted his eyes and looked disrespected. But I continued to talk.
"I figured someone around your level would allow you both to find the urge to overcome. With this rivalry, You two will push each other forward climbing higher than ever before. I want you to protect this planet, and you and him having a competition to see who could do it better could quite possibly lead you towards a path unknown… the path that I walk. Although it's impossible for you right now, with the help of Goku, you can build your way up to becoming worthy rivals of mine one day."
Vegeta was silent, but the look in his eyes said 1 thousand words. He was ready for whatever was to come.
"Also… I don't want you in that form yet."
"What? Why?" He said, snapped out of his thought process.
"That form multiples your base power by 50x. If you use it constantly instead of training in your base, it will be less efficient. That's not to say that we won't maximize the form to make it more optimal later. Right now, on the other hand, Goku and your foundation should be built further." I informed. Vegeta gave a nod of understanding… then after a while a look of concern.
"How do I turn it off… It's draining my energy quite rapidly?" He asked.
"I'm pretty sure that in order to turn off that form, you need to disburse the energy built up in your spinal cord to the rest of your body. Slowly and steadily." He followed my instruction, returning to his base form.
"How did you know that? Have you also reached-"
"No. I haven't. But I will eventually. If you're curious, yes. In that form, you are stronger than me in my base… But don't get it confused. I am still many times more powerful than you and Goku combined." I stated.
"For now… I'll take your word for it… but that statement will be tested in the future." Stated Vegeta as he had returned to his base.
I had theorized this way of deactivating Super Saiyan after watching the Super anime. In the past, I attempted to activate my own transformation this way in reverse but failed every corner. I came to the conclusion that if I was going to unlock the form, it would most likely be due to anger… but honestly, I was numb to a lot… From past life experiences and the current. I had died multiple times and killed multiple times. I was honestly kinda broken, but I promised that I would work on myself later.
Nappa had approached us from behind.
"Vegeta." Nappa then put his hand on Vegeta's shoulder and looked in his eyes with sincerity.
"I'm proud of you." Vegeta stumbled a little bit at his words and had a crack in his stoic expression.
Clearing his throat, he removed Nappa's hand and nodded.
"Thank you… but don't be proud yet. As you just heard, this is only the beginning."
"Still… I had to say it." Nappa stated with a nod.
"Just so you know, Nappa. You're gonna be able to transform as well one day. Just give it time." I stated.
"That's unimaginable for me right now… how about we take it one step at a time."
"No problem… Now. Let's get you guys some food."

Month 10
"Is this all you have?" I asked as I towered over all three Saiyans who were battered and bruised. During the duration of being in the chamber, they had all gotten stronger by impossible extents. They all now had power levels of around 60m… And yet, right now, they weren't able to land a scratch on me. The reason being is while they had been training as a group maintaining the workout regimen that I had provided, I had been doing my own form of training. I had been improving my body to the physical apex.
Every day since Goku learned how to control his Super Saiyan, I had been training non-stop, working my body until I was broken at every opportunity that arose. Due to my hard work, my power level had reached the bottleneck of 150M without the addition of Kaio-Ken.
The reason I had arrived at this sed bottleneck was not due to lack of effort, but due to lack of proper equipment. No matter how hard I focused my magic metallization, I couldn't increase the mass of my weights or my clothing and had arrived at a peak weight of 6M tons… and that was without the calculation of being in the time chamber's increased gravity. If I so wanted to, I could completely vaporize Mt. Everest with a single punch at full strength, but no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't go beyond that. Perhaps later I would get the opportunity to learn more efficient magic spells, but for now, this would be the end of my solo grind. If I were to get any stronger, it would be due to bringing people to my level which is why I had a newfound joy in seeing the people I consider my students grow to levels they could only dream of.
I didn't care if we would be considered overpowered. I didn't care about the plot. I only cared about the Earth, people that I considered friends, and my son. There was no such thing as over-preparing. This was the real world with real consequences.
"We have been fighting you for 3 days straight. Give us a break."
Stated Nappa with labored breaths. He was laying on his back, resting due to the beating he had just taken.
Meanwhile, Goku was attempting to get back up with his broken body.
"Do you think I would allow you to outdo me, Kakarot? I still have a bit of Fight in me as well." Vegeta stated as he began to get up as best he could… but almost simultaneously, Goku and Vegeta both collapsed on the floor.
Nappa had reached 57M. Goku had reached 59M, being slightly stronger than Vegeta by a couple of points, but virtually, they were at the same level.
"Damn… Looks like this is it for us." chuckled Goku as he fell on his face.
"If only this bastard allowed us to use multipliers. Even with just the Oozaru, we should be able to take him." Vegeta vocalized.
"I told you once, I'll tell you again..."
"We know… baseform-baseform-baseform. Just heal us already." Vegeta spat.
I obliged and healed the 3.
"Good… Now, as promised, the 3 days are up. Enjoy your two months of relaxation. You were able to survive 4 hours with me in this last battle…" These 3 Saiyans were extremely strong. Their past selves were nothing more than shadows of what they are now. While in the chamber, not only did Goku and Vegeta learn how to master the Super Saiyan transformation but could use it endlessly without draining any of their energy. Transforming was as simple as breathing to them.
During training, through my advisory, Goku with the help of Vegeta learned how to utilize the power ball technique that was only taught to the royalty of our race. With it, he learned how to control the Great ape transformation which would have been difficult for all parties if it weren't for the fact that we all had power multipliers. Although Goku had only transformed into a great ape a handful of times and in turn lost all of his rationality and sanity the moment he transformed, Vegeta beat him into submission repeatedly in his Super Saiyan form until sense was knocked into him. It took a bit, but now, Goku would be able to move freely in his ape form without ravenous thoughts that would have corrupted his mind.
Something strange that I noticed was while displaying my ability to transform into a great ape to the others, I had no multiplier. I was of the same caliber of strength. The only thing that had changed was my size, which was far larger than any of the other apes. That was all. After being shocked at the aesthetic of my transformation, the others realized my power level stayed stagnant as well. With all of our brain power combined, not one of us could come up with a conclusion as to why I was the way I was. We just shrugged our shoulders and moved on to practicing the form which led me to realize that I could control the size of my ape form. It wasn't useful at all, but it was pretty neat going from planet-sized to building-sized, to say the least.
Even though the great ape transformation may have seemed useless on the surface, I had a general idea of what potential it held. It was most likely the key to unlocking the Super Saiyan 4 transformation. At least, that was what Dragon Ball media seemed to imply. If all of us had our tails, it gave us a head start towards gaining that level of power that was far from our reach at this current moment in time.
We all had our Oozaru transformations down pat. Nappa, Myself, Goku, and Vegeta. But what we didn't all have was a form/skill that would have taken us to a different level of power. Vegeta, Goku, and I already had skills in this category. The only one who was out of the loop was Nappa. It took a couple of months of 1on1 time, but Nappa under my mentorship learned how to use the Kaio-Ken more efficiently than Goku with the ability to multiply his power by 30x.

Chamber Exit
Vegeta, Goku, Nappa, and I all exited the chamber. And in our view beheld the awaiting Ice and Gohan who were sitting crisscrossed playing checkers.
"Dad?" Gohan and Ice questioned as both of them had sensed our presence. Goku waved while I motioned for them to wait for a moment. They continued playing while I talked to the other Saiyans.
"Nappa… Vegeta. You two can either stay here or explore the planet as you see fit. Mind you, The rules that I implemented 1 year ago are still intact. Although I now consider you two allies, I will not hesitate to kill the both of you if you begin to kill the people on my planet without reason." I stated while nodding to the two. They both gave uneasy nods in understanding.
"Noted." Nappa and Vegeta stated simultaneously."
We were all fed up with being locked up in the Chamber for the past year, especially me who had been in and out for the past 4, but no matter how fed up I was, I had an objective. I had to train each and every Z-fighter and prepare them for their first intergalactic quest. They didn't know it, But I had already decided that I would allow them to finish off Freiza and his soldiers with their own hands. Although it was his fault that I was tossed into a shit show upon my first few breaths of arriving on Vegeta, they held more weight in this fight. Nothing was really taken from me. Even though I identified as a Saiyan after spending more time being one than human, I wouldn't fake care for its people or history, no matter how interesting I found the homeworld.
"Well… you're free to do almost whatever. Don't be stupid." I asserted with a smile.
"About time... Although the food there was adequate enough, the scenery was far from it. If we remained in that white void longer, I probably would have somehow unlocked another stage of Super Saiyan just from frustration." Vegeta jested.
"Hehe. Could you imagine that if there were more phases to that transformation? The universe wouldn't be ready for that." Nappa chuckled.
"Wait a minute. Do you guys think that that's possible?" Goku asked in excitement.
Vegeta shook his head.
"Greedy, are we?"
"I know. I know. You're probably right." Goku retorted in disappointment
"Kakarot. You and I unlocked a transformation that allows us to multiply our power by 50 times our base. We are one of the rare species that have been blessed by the heavens. Just be thankful for what you have. After all, What I said was only me making fun." Vegeta lectured.
Goku shrugged his shoulders and waited patiently. He knew that it would be his turn yet again to go into the chamber.
"I'll take this chance to get a general idea of the landmasses of this planet." Declared Vegeta.
"And I'll… well. I haven't really thought about that. I guess that I'll go surface level to explore a bit. It wouldn't hurt to learn more about this world's society." Nappa stated. Then, They both flew off.
"Now that they are out of here… Both of you, come here."
"Coming." Ice and Gohan concluded their game and made their way towards Goku and me. As Ice arrived, he greeted me by hugging my leg tightly while Gohan did the same to us.
"We missed you guys!" Gohan stated while cheesing to Goku and me.
"Is that right?" I asked, to which Ice retorted.
"Yep! Although we had fun playing and going around West and East city, you guys are still our dads." To this, I couldn't help but smile. Who would have thought that anyone resembling Frieza in the slightest would be able to make me feel these types of emotions?
"Well, that's good to hear," I stated while giving a toothy smile.
"So what did you and Ice do, little fella?" Goku asked as he picked up Gohan and put him on his shoulders.
"Well… we spent most of the time in the forest with Icarus after you left. He's our dragon friend that you met yesterday, remember?"
"Yeah, I remember. He was purple right?" Goku asked?
"Mhmm! He was still a baby, so me and Ice returned him where we found him. We didn't want his mom to get sad because she couldn't find him. And after we were done with the forest, Ice showed me some of his favorite books and so we read a lot too. When we finished with that, we played checkers." Gohan concluded.
"Very insightful, Gohan. Speaking of moms, where is yours? Not only that but everyone else too?" I asked.
"Well… Mr. Krillin said that he would go back to Master Roshi's house. Ms. Briefs said that she had some science stuff to work on and so her and Launch left together. Yamaha said that he needed to drink some happy juice to make the pain go away. I don't really know what that means, but I seemed to be fine… I don't think he was hurt though." Djin chuckled.
"Hey, what is happy juice? If it makes you happy all the time, can I have some?" Asked Gohan. Luckily, I wasn't drinking. If I was, whatever liquid would have shot out my nose. Not only was he clueless, but Goku and Ice as well.
"Trust me… you don't want what he's having. Take my word for it… anyway, tell me about everyone else."
"Mr. Tien and Chaotzu went to their temple. Mr. Piccolo left without saying anything… and Mom and Grandpa left when Yajirobe said that he would babysit me…. I don't think he's doing a very good job at it though. I haven't really seen him since yesterday." Gohan concluded.
"Woah! Sounds like you guys had a lot of fun. Don't you think, Djin?"
"Yep. It does indeed…Maybe next time you can take Goku and me on a little forest adventure. No. How about we go camping instead?" At my words, the boys' eyes lit up. Not because of the chance to go camping, but the opportunity to spend quality time with their fathers.
"Really? You would go to the forest with us, Dad?" Ice asked.
"Yep. Without a question."
"But… don't you have to stay here to watch over the planet from the lookout?"
"No. I just have to watch the planet. It doesn't matter from which location." I retorted, patting Ice's head.
After catching up with the boys, we headed into the chamber one final time.

.
"Now, Gohan. While Ice and Djin are out there training. I need you to train here with me."
"But… I wanted Mr. Djin to train me?"
"Ouch…"
"I'm sorry dad. But wouldn't it make more sense for me to train with him because he's stronger?" Gohan stated with a hint of regret for the blunt words written on his face.
"Gohan… Mr. Djin might be strong, but your old man is strong too. Much stronger than before." Goku smirked and then took a few steps back.
"Just to show you how strong, I want you to take a few steps back so that I could show you. Do me the favor and hide behind that couch. Djin used magic on it so it should be pretty much indestructible." Goku stated while Gohan looked at him in confusion.
"But why?" Gohan naively asked.
"Trust me." Goku retorted. Putting his faith in his father, he followed instructions.
"Okay… You ready?" Goku asked.
"Uh… Yeah. I still don't know for what though." Gohan retorted, unsure.
"Haaaaaaaaaaaa." Air started to surround Goku as if a tornado was being created from his mere presence. All of the future in the living area started to vibrate and shake. But due to the strong architectural integrity of the reinforced building, everything remained in place.
Goku's aura started to flash from white to a golden yellow. His power level started to rise tremendously by the second while Gohan watched his father's hair shift from black to Golden.
"HAAAAAAaaaaaa." As Goku's voice started to echo throughout the atmosphere, Gohan couldn't help but slack his jaw. He felt something from deep within his stomach as his father was metamorphosing into a being that was unrecognizable. What he had been feeling was not simple butterflies that one got from being excited, but the sensation of an indomitable force. He, for the first second time, was sensing power that was far beyond him. The first time was when he watched Djin fight only a couple of days ago.
Goku's pupils continuously shifted from black to being invisible completely, to a navy blue. "HAAAAAAAA!" Electricity started to pulsate around Goku as his power level only increased further. And then, with a large flash and burst of wind that made Gohan close his eyes and flinch, Goku was in Super Saiyan with all of its prophetic glory.
"Woah…" The boy whispered in disbelief.
"You see this, son? This is what we call, Super Saiyan…With enough hard work and dedication, you can reach this as well." Goku smirked at his son who was absolutely speechless.
"You mean… I can get that strong?" Gohan asked.
"Yep…" Goku retorted, quickly reverting back to his base form.
"And you wanna know a little secret?" Goku asked.
"A...A-A secret?" Gohan asked. Goku nodded, to which Gohan returned.
"I'm the strongest person on earth right now…"
"E-Even stronger than Mr. Djin?" Gohan asked.
"Yes… stronger than him and all the guys that beat me before… But only in this form. But Djin has an ability that's on par with the one I just showed you. When he uses it, He gets even stronger than my Super Saiyan can handle. In his form, he could probably beat me with one hit."
"But… what you just showed me just now… you're so strong that I was barely able to breathe!"
"Which means that my words can't be taken for granted… Gohan, You are not ready to go out there. I promise you. The moment you attempt to stand up out there, you'll be crushed in the blink of an eye. So believe me when I say you are not ready to train with him."
Gohan pondered for a moment. In his head, he realized his way of thinking before was silly. He had quickly come to terms with where he was when it came to terms of power. But rather it was because of him being a naive child or because he believed in himself, his father set a flame of determination within him.

Meanwhile with Ice and Djin
Djin had been dodging punches and kicks with ease. He avoided the attacks of Ice, effortlessly, but Ice couldn't care less. Why, because his father had instilled confidence within him.
"So… I'm one of the weakest links right now?" Ice asked while throwing punches, kicks, and tail flips at his father who was avoiding with ease.
"Well… I wouldn't call you that considering you could blow up a planet."
"That's not really that special though. All the people you trained can do that now."
"True… To answer your quest, no you aren't" Djin said as he dodged Ice's whip-like tail attack that was aimed at his inner thigh.
"You are the 5th strongest."
Djin stated as he headbutted Ice, sending him crashing to the floor. Ice quickly recovered by planting his feet on the ground. He then flew up with the intention of another barrage, but as he attempted to punch Djin, his arm was grabbed by Djin's tail and flung him far away.
"Don't forget that your tail can be used to grab people too!" Djin shouted. Ice nodded and flew up once more. This time for a flurry of rapid kicks. But like before, Djin saw this coming and dodged.
"5th huh?"
Ice asked.
"Yep. Are you unsatisfied?"
"No… because I know that I'll pass all of them. Like you told me. This is only the beginning for me." Ice stated as a matter of fact which caused Djin to smile.
As Ice continued with his kicks, He slipped his tail around Djin's neck as quickly as he could and flung him to the ground. Djin of course had seen this coming from a mile away, but in order to prevent discouragement while teaching, Djin wanted his students to know that no opponent was invincible and allowed freebies every once in a while.
"Wow. I felt that one." Djin got up cracking his neck.
"Good." Ice stated as he rocketed towards Djin with two Ki daggers in his hand.

A loud ear-shattering roar rang through the ears of Goku, Ice, and Djin. They were now in the process of teaching Gohan How to overcome the difficulties of the Great ape transformation.
"Now, Goku. While he's in that state, he won't recognize anything. He can't differentiate between friend and foe. Take your time with him. Attempt to talk reason into him until he gains control. If that doesn't work, knock some sense into him."
"Got it… I probably won't be as rough as Vegeta was with me though."
"And that's understandable. If he doesn't come to his senses by the time the Powerball runs out, I'll just cast another one. If that fails, we'll just try again tomorrow."
"Got it." Goku went off to the Giant screaming beast. As he came into the face of the enraged Gohan, he was a target. Energy beams were deflected by Goku left and right while Ice and Djin stood on the sidelines observing.
"Wow… I can't believe that's Gohan."
Ice stated.
"Yep."
"So this is the transformation that all Saiyan's can use?"
"Yep. Soon, he'll be able to control it and utilize it." Djin stated as he sat on the floor next to his son.
.

.
.
Ice and Gohan sat at a table discussing mathematics, studying at the behest of Chi-Chi.
Ice took the tutoring position while Gohan took the student.
"Hey… Looks our little guys are pretty smart." Goku stated as he put his hand on Djin's shoulder.
"True."
.
.
.
.
"Repeat after me, Gohan. Kame-." Goku had formed his hands together while Gohan did the same.
"Kame-" Although his form was a bit rough, Gohan copied as best he could.
"Hame-."
"Hame-." Blue flashes started to form in the palms of their hands which caused Gohan to jump.
"It's okay, Gohan. That energy in your hands is yours and only yours. It can't hurt you." Stated Ice, supporting his friend and putting his mind at ease.
"He's right. Just focus and try not to lose concentration. This next part is the most important." Goku said in a calm and supporting voice.
"O-okay." Gohan took a deep breath and gained a serious expression.
"HA!" Goku launched a blast that would have consumed an astral body.
"HA!" Gohan shouted. His blast wasn't nearly as large or menacing as Goku's but was still impressive for his age and size.
"I did it!" He jumped up and down in victory and flew in the sky.
"Congrats!" Ice shouted from the ground.
"That right son!" Goku shouted towards Gohan.
"Now come on down here. It's about time that we go eat." Djin said with a smile. He too was happy for the Saiyan toddler. He was only 4 going on 5 and yet he had a power level of 30 thousand in such a short amount of time. If Djin were to assess his potential, only one person could compare to Gohan's growth rate. That person was none other than Gohan's First and Best friend, Ice.
He had watched Gohan closely. He had Trained 3 different Saiyans in total. Out of all of them, Gohan was able to achieve the most in only 2 months. Djin didn't know why, but Gohan was just extraordinary. His strength was so absurd that it was borderline unfathomable.
With this evidence, Djin had theorized that Saiyan hybrids must have taken the best traits of both parents and maximized them to create a superior being. It was either that, or it was due to ethnic mixing with humans. Or perhaps it was just mixing with another race in general. Maybe it was indicative to the fact that humans on Dragon Ball Earth were probably more at risk of genetic mutation. Djin thought this theory would have been the most likely considering that he had seen so many strange people on Earth.
Tein had 3 eyes, Krillin didn't have a nose, The King of the earth was a dog man, and Emperor Pilaf was part of a sentient monster man of some kind. There were demonic humans and fish people. Nothing was out of reach in this world. To be fair, Tien's ancestors were aliens, But due to his bloodline being diluted over time, he was just as human as anyone else. These were his assumptions, anyway.
.
.
.
.
"Are the boys sleep yet?" Goku asked. To which, Djin nodded.
"They've been for a bit now." They both sat at the dining table across from one another.
"So… Let me ask. What do you think of Gohan?" Goku asked.
"Probably the same thing you think about Ice," Djin replied.
"Can you really compare the two?" Goku asked.
"In terms of potential, yes."
"I'm not so sure about that."
"Look… Ice was born stronger than any Saiyan in the past couple of thousand years…. But even with that being said, just because a person is born with strength doesn't mean that he or she will remain that way."
"Well duh… That's kinda common sense." Goku stated.
"With that being said, Ice still remains strong due to Saiyan blood coursing through his veins. Not just any Saiyan blood, but mine. And if I say so myself, I have quite a bit of potential. In the beginning though, due to his power, he was tough to handle. But with my parenting, that difficulty lowered." Djin stated.
"Not that I have that problem with Gohan, but how did it lower." Djin then pondered for a moment, then laughed nervously.
"What? What is it? What's funny." Goku asked.
"It's not funny, per say, it's just that to give you that answer, I need to start off by telling you how things happened in the timeline."
Djin took a deep breath, then recounted the past.
"I told you my little story about how Ice came to be… but I didn't tell you what I had to go through to bring him to the point where he is today… You see, Ice was born strong. So freakishly strong that he used to beat me when we first started to train together. So bad that I almost didn't want to fight anymore. You see, Ice was a little ass hole who used to play with me as if training was a game."
"But… He's a kid. That's what they do." Goku retorted confused
"Kids do play… but not in the way that he played with me. Unlike most people, he knew about my immortality. So, his idea of fun was shooting thousands of holes throughout my body with Ki beams. Sometimes he would break my bones for fun because he knew they would grow back… but as I said… As time went on, I gained more and more power. And eventually, I gained the strength to overpower him. Once I arrived at that level, I ascended even further. Then, I humbled him. I showed him that he was not invincible. I brought him back to earth where mortals should be."
"If you didn't enjoy how he was treating you, then why would you allow the training to continue? Why didn't you ask him to stop?"
"Because I didn't want him holding back against me. You know this already but the more we lose, the more we grow… and from losing all those times, I grew."
"Then… wasn't it good that he did what he did?" Goku asked with a raised brow.
"No. It wasn't. Bottom line is, I am his father. He should have had more respect for me than to treat me like a bag of meat. He knew he had strength and in turn, used it at his leisure to toy with me. If he treated others the way he treated me, like insects, then when he became an adult, we would have had a huge problem. He needed discipline… he needed respect… and so, I beat him into submission. Over and over again until he realized what it felt like to be weak. What it felt like to be bullied. I beat him until he was in the same position I was once in. After I beat him… after I broke him down, I built him up."
"I taught him the value of being kind and empathetic towards another person's struggle. I taught him to do to others only what you would like done to yourself. I gave him perspective." From Djin's words, Goku had nothing else to refute. Perhaps his teaching methods were a bit barbaric, but he did get his message across clearly.
"Now… You asked me what I think of Gohan… I think he and Ice will make the perfect rivals once we get Gohan to his level. Their strength combined will be unmatched in the years to come. Especially if Gohan keeps at the same rate he's going at."
"It's a surprise that you think so highly of him… I mean, to compare him to your son, that's a compliment."
"Not really. It's just true."

While Gohan and Ice were clashing in the distance, Goku and Djin did the same.
Only a few days were left in the chamber.
