DON'T DO IT

This kind of news, traumatized Lance and he felt less of a man to discover that he was the reason he couldn't bear a child, which was horrifying and the worst part of it was that, he put his wife through worry and tears, not knowing that he was the reason all along, they weren't able to have a child for a year. He blamed himself and felt guilty for all the pain he had caused her, he even wanted to go on his knees and apologised to her for putting her through so much. He even asked what their next plan was, since they can't bear children, no, since he can't conceive and she was the only one who could. He didn't know how to react to this decision of his, how could he deny Ava who could have children and keep her by his side?

 Wasn't that selfish of him?

How should he take this news to his family and what would they think of him and what would their outcome be?
