  Lance knew what was coming and how he could dodge this and keep his father away from his life and this was why he didn't want to interfere or get involved in this family's issues because it sucks and gets on his nerves.

 He turned to the guard and motioned for them to leave them alone, but they still stood behind him. "I said, leave us,' he strictly ordered. The door went shut and now, they were alone and could talk privately.

 "You called for me,' he said, scowling and turning his gaze away from his father.
