Written Examination

The Magic circle was getting closer. I ran and jumped into it before the cave caved in. I could see the room again. I looked up to see Yukio staring at me. He bent down and helped me up.

" You look like you got roughed up," he said 

" Yea the place was about to cave in," I said 

" Really you're lucky I was chased by a dragon," he replied 

" Either way let's go over to the teacher looks like everyone came back," I said we walked over to the teacher to hear him speaking. 

" So since you all acquired an egg you will keep it warm for the week after about five days it will hatch and will officially be your familiar though you will have to take care of it since it will still be a baby but your familiars are very vital in your training," he said 

" What do you think yours is," I ask Yukio in anticipation

" I mean I was chased by a dragon so it's probably that," He answered

" I'm not sure what mine is I was just teleported to a cave filled with high-grade magic chrystals,"  I said

" Really I heard father saying that the supplies are low this year. Do you perhaps know where exactly you went?" He aked 

" Nope got no idea. The others are already leaving let's go," I replied 

We followed behind the group and entered an examination room.

"  Ok students now you will be taking a written exam to decide whether you will be joining the E-stream and the S-stream. You will be provided with the necessary equipment to complete this exam you all have exactly one hour starting now,"  Said Mr. White as he pointed us to our seats 

We all sat down and were instructed to start the exam. It was pretty easy and I finished early. After a while of sitting in silence, I felt a stinging sensation in the back of my neck. I jumped up and screamed I turned around and saw Amelia and her posses giggling.

"  Miss Windsor is something wrong," Mr. White asks 

" No sir Sorry Sir," I said deciding not to bother the teacher with my problems

" Okay well sit and don't disturb the others again," He said with a frown on his face

I sat down and saw that my paper was blank. Someone switched it and there are only five minutes until time is up is. I picked up my pencil and started scribbling furiously, fortunately, I remembered all my answers and just had to rewrite them in time. I finished just before the bell rang signaling to drop our pencils.

" Ok class that is the end of the examination please hand me your papers as you exit the class you may wait in the auditorium for your assigned class and rank," Said Mr. White 

We all got up and handed him our papers as we left. 

" What happened in there," asked Yukio 

" I think Amelia burnt me as a distraction to steal my paper," I told him as we walked to the Auditorium

" What! Why didnt you say anything!?" He ask seeming to get angry 

"  We were in the middle of an exam plus I remembered all my answers I dont see the point of adding heat the fire," I said truth be told I just didnt have the energy to deal with her at the moment.

We sat down in the auditurium and Continued our conversation 

"  So your just gonna let he rget away with it," he asked 

" No not really," I said knowing what was comming

Jut then Miss Lake walked on stage.

"  OK students your pacement examination is now complete I will now announce your classes" she sasi " but before that can Reine Windsor and Amelia James please join me on stage,"
