To War or Not

Without anymore hesitation, the three knights hurry down the hall so that Zekeru could not caught them. Confused in the room Menokii looks at Black Fire.

"I guess I have a weird relationship with the other knights?"

"Well you are royalty soo it can't be helped, you know."

Sitting in the room think about their next steps. Menokii thinking about all the information he just got. While Black Fire is trying to explain the tools to Menokii and all the other functions to come. The aura emanating from the room was thoughts so deep the tension could be cut with a knife.

"So Black Fire, we have to fight a war and somehow win? How would I get around to that hmm?"

"Well Zekeru has battle strategies and information I'm sure could help, then again maybe we could just hope for the best and skip ahead. Not normal but hmm I don't know."

Let's further explain what Black Fire has said about the mission. There is different requirements each mission has for instant failure or demanded milestones needed to complete the story isn't always the most clear. So to be more particular in this mission, revenge for the lose of his father and homeland has been set for as long as the character is alive to do so. The revenge could a simple assassination plot but full points would not be received. The revolt and taking about of the homeland and people would do way better giving all points needed. But also winning and ending it before it really should begin could also give full points. Your mission completion style and type of mission really does matter when you are choosing missions.

So if we think about it realistically, the point of the mission is the revenge or full counter of the Forgotten Prince's homeland. So to win it would take several different questions being answered. Can the agent was he is now go to war and fix the mistakes he knows that will happen and keep his life? The answer is that it would be entirely too risky as this is the first mission of his career and death means it's all over. Then should he simply avoid the war, as all wars have their starts? The would be a lot safer than going to war but would he be able to uncover the truth behind the war. So he let's his kingdom fall and makes a counter attack in full after getting allies? That would be the safest way, as it is stated that the prince dies of poor living condition. It would keep him from crossing the wrong people too early on and watch as things settle, he could also uncover the needed information given the right cover.

"Black Fire, so I could skip forward to the end? but what kinda sense does that make? How am I supposed to win if I try to make my moves at the end?" Bothered and unsure of why such an option would exist.

"Well it would be that last line about the prince, it says he lives several years unseen as a slave before he dies. So maybe, the mission must also knowledge even tiny and easily forgotten information like that." Smiling as the system assistant thinks to itself.

The room goes silent as they pondered the roads before them. A road paved like the novel til the falling actions, giving the story the needed on-core. The other two differ from this moment on. Fight like a demon possessed and think like a genius with all knowing powers, or join the court and become a spy to stop a war very few understand the real cost.

It was in that moment that something strike Black Fire for no reason, "the time most flow til the end." This faint whisper came long his mind as a sign to end the pondering.

"Hey Menokii, as this is your first mission, lets see just what you are can do." Smiling as the idea of risking it all makes him blaze.

"So… Are you telling me to skip til the end? Do you even know where in the ending we could land?" Unsettled by the sudden change of behavior and the new feeling in the air.

It was the moment something about this new agent and a space long outside the Dark Horse could control was connected. Another agent on their first mission but far more confident in their ability. This agent has the missing piece to make the puzzle of a story make sense.

"I think we have back-up, but only if everything flows as the novel said." Smiling with his sharp fanged teeth. Black Fire is sure that the system wouldn't give an option for no reason or give ideas, unless something bigger than what is before us is at stake.

"Well you are more confident than I am, I would like to avoid a fight before I'm ready and maybe I would collect more knowledge watching the story from with in." Smiling with unfounded pride and trust.

With the agreement reached, the world for us blurs the training with the blood on the battlefield and the bodies waking, or never to wake again. Every moment was ingrained in the head of the agent, pain, sorrow and pity like raging rapids crashing at a commonality.

It was the best and worst of the war and training til that moment drilled into Menokii's memories. The battles won and many details not said in the story, the words of comrades and enemies. He saw the king, the queen and the siblings that he had yet become strong enough to stand next to. They were proud til the end, only the Kingly fathers spoke final words one else could have known. He give the last wish and key information to the only son that truly deserves to sit upon the throne.

"My son please before they come and we make our last stand on the bloody plain, listen. The spies are many and my life was to be cut short no matter the outcome. The mastermind is someone strong yet over looked, beware the Archer."

With that warning, the stand was many and quickly swept away. The bodies like flowers sprinkled about the ground. Red pillows and luster metal, all was left by the Vanguards and Formans. This battle was more like pigs being sent to slaughter.

"The Knight Prince? Well here I thought you would have more to fight for, to rumble with." Blooded and proud in it's crooked way, Jake stood before a beaten Zekeru. "Looks like Issac was right, too beat your brains couldn't match his."

With that all was over and Zekeru's role was just about finished, as the blackness lifts the whispers of nobles and enthusiasm of the auctioneer brought him to the moment at hand.
