The Island (2)

Ronin's body sailed like any boat on the heavy, murky water. And no, he was not dead, though he was not in any better condition. On the silver lining, he can't die here and he knows it. But what matters to him is that he finishes this trial without dying once.  Still, he took the recovery potion, and whatever he needed that he stole from some participants. Yes, stealing is bad, but he did saved him from becoming slaves. There was that.

With his eyes closed, he was thinking about his next tasks. The few participants he saved went their own way. He had no problem with that, since he got their oath. Still, it tinged him a little, thinking he had not saved them thoroughly, that they would be bound to help him in the future. Then again. It was a trial. Nobody was in any serious danger. He would unlikely get what he wants. He was sure they or their parents would get around what he wanted from them.
