Chapter 92 Trespassing

Tyler came to a stop at Amara's gate and rang the buzzer. "Who is it?" Her dad asks. "Mr. Edwards it's Tyler, I would like to speak to Amara." "Do you know what time It is boy? Get the hell away from my gate before I have you thrown in jail." He barks through the intercom.

"Your daughter asks me to be here sir now could you please let me in." "Go away boy, if you know what's good for you." He barks again. Caleb was about to add something but Ty stops him, takes out his phone, and dials Amara's number.

"Where are you?" She asks in a panicked tone. "We're at your gate but your father won't let us in." He said. "The police are on their way, you can come in with them." She said with another sob.

"The police? What in the world is going on in there?" He asks putting his phone on speaker. "I've to barricade myself in my room because they want me to kill my baby, Fabian's baby." She cried.

"Whoa, baby?" Caleb asks in surprise. "Yes, two days ago I found out I was pregnant. I was going to wait until Fabian returns from India but my mom was in my room yesterday while I was out and she found the pregnancy test and now they're both forcing me to kill my baby and I won't…there's no way in hell I'm going to kill my child." She cried.

"So I locked myself in my room and have pack everything I own in eight suitcases and now I just need to get out of here without them touching me and trying to hurt me and my unborn child, all they have to do is push me down or something, so I called the police." She said taking a shaky breath.

"Hold on they're here." He said. "Give them your phone; I want to talk to them." "Good night gentlemen, how can we assist?" One of them asks. "She'll explain everything," Ty said handing his phone to the police who listen for a while then ending the call he motioned to his partner and they walk over to the gate and ring the buzzer.

"I thought I told you to leave boy!" Mr. Edwards shouts. "The police identified themselves and orders him to open the gate which he reluctantly did. The police then drive in and Ty drives in behind them.

Mr. Edwards throws his door open and starts accusing Ty of trying to kidnap his daughter and when the police ask him to step away from Ty he then began shouting at them, telling them to do their jobs and arrest Ty and His brother because they're trespassing.

Ty and Caleb leave her parents and the police outside, enters the house, and head upstairs and only when Amara was sure that her parents were out of the house and won't be able to touch her that she open the door.

Caleb take up two of her suitcases and Ty take up two and they left the room. As soon as she steps outside her father came storming over to her. She grabs onto Caleb's shirt and hides behind him as her father came toward them.

Caleb drops the suitcases and folds his arms across his chest. "Back up sir, don't come any closer or I'll drop you where you stand." Caleb sneers.

"Heard that! He's threatening me, in my own yard. Arrest him." He shouts. "Calm down sir, you're in the wrong here not them, if anyone here needs to be arrested it's you, now back away from her." One of the officer's orders.

"You ungrateful little brat. After everything we've done for you, this's the way you repay us by leaving with these delinquents. You're a disgrace to us, carrying that abomination inside you, disgusting." He sneers fixing her with a cold glare.

She pulls at Caleb's shirt indicating to him to walk towards the car which he did after lifting the suitcases in his hands again. Her mom made no move toward her, she just stand there with her hands folded.

Her mother, the woman she had always looked up to had told her to kill her unborn child, who offer her no comfort against her father's harsh words but stand with him on whatever he said and do. These were her parents; rich stuck-up snobs who cared more about social standards than they cared about her or their grandchild and she never wanted to see either of them again.

Tears run down her face as she sat in the car with Ty guarding the door while Caleb load the rest of her suitcases in the back. After they were finished, they got in and drive away.

Food for thought

But his answer was, "My grace is all you need, for my power is greatest when you're weak." I'm most happy then, to be proud of my weakness, in order to feel the protection of Christ's power over me (2 Cor 12 v 9).
