Chapter 140 Danger

(AN, okay so it's been brought to my attention that in the first chapter of this book I have that he'll be doing his training in Miami, I then later changed it to Atlanta without realizing it, my apologies, please just go with Atlanta, thanks for your understanding, now please continue)

His dad took the phone and read the message which says. 'Return what is mine to my house in an hour and I'll return what is yours unharmed. Contact the police and she's dead. If you don't comply, she's dead.' Below was a photo of a panic-stricken Janice tied and gagged.

"This's all my fault. Take me back to his house. I can't let anything happen to Janice because of me." She cried. "None of this is your fault, Amara! That man is a psychopath. Don't you dare blame yourself for his action and we both know that as soon as you enter that house our babies are dead?" He said in an angry and frustrated tone.

"Babies?" his dad asks in surprise. "Yes dad, that's the amazing news we wanted to share. What are we going to do dad?" "Get Janice back home before Ty finds out." "But how? We don't even know where she is." He said in a worried tone. "Don't panic yet, we'll sort something out." His dad said handing him back his phone. "Just let me make a few calls."

His dad was in the process of dialing a number when Fabian's phone rings again. It was Caleb. "Hey Caleb, We have a situation. That jackass Edwards has kidnapped Janice." "Shit, I'm tracking her as we speak. I knew she was in danger but now I know what kind. Alright, I'm going to text you an address. You, dad, and Amara catch up to me, I've to keep moving." Caleb said.

"Wait, how did you know...? "I'll explain everything when you get here bro, now hurry." He said in an urgent tone before ending the call. A minute later the address came in and Fabian took off in that direction while filling his father and Amara in on what Caleb just said.

Fifteen minutes later Fabian was driving behind Caleb and Caleb was on Fabian's phone bringing them all up to speed with what he was doing. "yes Fabian I do have a tracking device on Janice, as a matter of fact, I've one on all of you. Not to spy on you or anything like that but for situations like these, but you can't be too careful in times like this." He explains.

"I put one on her after her car accident. It is designed to pick up on stress levels and heart rate and whenever any of you are in danger your heart beats faster which sends off a panic button on my phone telling me you're in danger. I do all this because there's no way I'm going to leave the safety of my family in the hands of cops who can't lock away a nutcase until he hurts someone." Caleb said angrily.

"Also Fabian I know you've been keeping an eye on that fool and the guys said that he has been in his office all morning which means he has someone doing his dirty work for him. Now, as soon as their vehicle stops me and my guys will be on them like white on rice. We can't allow them to take her into any building."

"What guys?" His dad asks. "A few of my Guardsman friends, and don't worry they are highly trained and will get her back unharmed and I think we should keep Ty out of this until it's over," Caleb suggest. "He's going to be pissed when he finds out but we have to do this for his own good." Fabian sighs.

"Good, and as worthless as I think these cops are, they're all set and ready to take these idiots down as soon as they stop that car. We have to be extremely careful, one wrong move and they could hurt Janice." Caleb said with a heavy sigh.

An hour later the kidnappers stop the car in a remote deserted area. Three men got out dragging Janice with them but as soon as they got a few feet from the car cops surround them from all angles along with the men from the Guardsman company.

One of the men attempted to drag Janice further away while holding a gun to her head but one of the cops shoot the man in his hand causing him to drop the gun, the others panicked and fell to their knees holding up their hands in surrender. It was easy to see that these men weren't professionals or this situation would've had a much different outcome.

Cold-blooded killers would've killed her the moment they spotted the cops but thank God the idiot Edwards hired were amateurs. The element of surprise also works in the cop's favour because they were advised by the Guardsmen to not use their sirens. The cops had no problem cuffing the men and shoving them into the back of their cars.

Caleb rushed over and after one of the cops untied her hands and mouth he held her tightly against him as her body shook uncontrollably as she wept in his shirt. Mr Jackson also run over to her and gave her a sedative to help calm her nerves.

Caleb had to hold the bottle of water at her mouth as her hand was shaking so badly she couldn't hold the bottle herself. Caleb then lifts her in his arms taking her to their vehicle.
