Chapter 10: Cousin

Narrator's POV

All of the squad are in the classroom. They are all busy with their worlds.

"Guys! Guys!" Elkie shouted.

"What is it, Elkie?"

"Let's go to this café later,"

"Is that a new café?"

"Yup. I heard that their waiters are both beautiful and handsome,"

"Beautiful?" Ronan asked.

"Uhum"

"Let's go!"

"Count us all in,"

"Ok. Let's go later after class is finished,"

Fast forward, and it's the end of class.

"Let's go, guys! Hurry!" Ronan said.

"You're so excited, Ronan,"

"It's because he can't wait to see the beautiful girls there,"

"Of course!"

"That is Ronan for sure,"

And they all went to the new café.

Upon arriving at the café…

"Wow!"

"The ambiance is nice,"

"Me too. I love the ambiance,"

"Guys. The waiter here is indeed both beautiful and handsome because they all are beautiful and handsome,"

"Yeah. I agree"

"Let's find a table,"

"Hello! Welcome to la café. May I look for a table for all of you?"

"Yes, please," Elkie said with eyes sparkling.

"Ok. Follow me"

Karina shoved Elkie's arm.

"What? He is so handsome. I can't take my eyes away from him,"

"Oh, Elkie"

The handsome waiter finds them a table.

"Here we are. Just the right table to all of you,"

"Thank you"

"You're welcome. Please make yourself comfortable,"

Thalia's POV

We are all seated and are now taking pictures and selfies.

This place is so nice. I love the ambiance.

Suddenly, a waiter approached us, and he's kind of familiar.

"Theo?"

"Thalia?"

I went to him and hugged him tightly. Theo hugged back.

"Long time no see. I miss you,"

"I miss you too,"

"Ahem!"

We both looked at them, and they are all looking at us with facial expressions asking "who is he?"

"Oh, sorry guys,"

"Can you introduce that handsome man to us, Thalia?"

"Oh, um. Guys, meet my handsome cousin, Theo. Theo, these are my friends/classmates,"

"Nice to meet you all,"

"Oh, so you're Thalia's cousin?"

"Yes. These are the menus,"

They already picked their orders, and Theo noted it.

And now, it's my turn to order.

"I will order- "

"Lasagna?"

"Yes. You still remember my favorite,"

"Of course,"

"For drinks- "

"Milkshake?"

"Yup"

"Ok. Is that all?"

"Yes," We all said.

"Ok. Please wait for 30 minutes,"

"Ok!"

After 30 minutes, our orders have arrived.

"Bon Appetite"

"Thank you!"

And we all started to eat.

I looked at Zane, and he is so quiet. I think he is not enjoying his food?

"Is something going on, Zane? You don't like the food?"

"Oh. Nothing is going on, and I like the food,"

"Ok"

We all happily ate our food while talking.

When we are done, we all went outside and told each other that we are going home.

Zane and I are going opposite than them.

"Let's go?" Zane said.

"Ok"

"Let me carry your bag,"

"Thanks"

"Thalia!"

"Oh, Theo. What is it?"

"Can we talk for a moment"

I looked at Zane.

"I will just wait here,"

"Ok"

Theo and I made a distance towards Zane for Zane not to hear our conversation.

"What do you want to talk about, Theo?"

"Nothing. I just want to talk to you because it's been a while,"

"Yeah. It's been how many years. Did you move here?"

"Yeah, we moved here,"

"Mom will be happy to hear this. You can go to our house. Bring auntie and uncle,"

"Ok"

"Here is our address,"

"Let's exchange numbers,"

"Oh, sure"

"Theo!"

"Oh, they are calling me. I have to go back inside. I'm happy that I met you again, Thalia,"

"Me too, Theo. Contact me anytime,"

"Ok"

Theo and I hugged.

"I need to go. See you soon,"

"Me too"

Zane's POV

I am waiting for Thalia.

I don't know what's gotten into me today.

Seeing Thalia and her cousin Theo hugging earlier makes me angry.

Author: You are jealous.

Shut up, author. Besides, I have no right to be jealous of them because they are cousins, and we are just close friends.

"Let's go, Zane?"

"Oh, ok"

"Are you ok, Zane? What are you thinking so seriously about?"

"Nothing. Let's go?"

"Oh, ok"
