Heroes Of The Legends

Through the wide hallways of the royal palace, the three friends walked, each lost in their own thoughts. The old man led the way, his robes billowing behind him. And a few guards trailed behind as their task were to make sure their heroes were safe.

Adam, who seemed calm and composed for now, knew that panicking would only make things worse for everyone involved. He had a lot of questions that he planned to ask the king, and he hoped to get some answers.

He looked at Jasem after, still worried about him after what had happened in that room. But he was relieved to see Jasem acting normally again, walking beside him silently and seeming to have calmed down.

He then looked at Dean, who was the most excited of the three. Dean had a wide smile on his face, slightly red from excitement, as he imagined all the things he could do in this new world.

Adam shook his head slightly, knowing what this idiot was thinking about. He had seen that look on Dean's face before.

Adam sighed and looked away from him, not wanting to be drawn into Dean's fantasies. He had enough to worry about without having to deal with Dean's unrealistic expectations. He looked ahead again, determined to focus on the present moment.

After walking for a few minutes, they finally arrived at a huge door. Two guards stood on either side, but they immediately opened the door when they saw the high priest arrive with three heroes standing behind him.

The old man and the three heroes went inside immediately, while the guards who had been following them stayed outside. They were not allowed inside with their weapons, as only the royal guards who were scattered around the great hall were permitted to carry them.

The throne room was a large, imposing chamber. The walls were made of white marble, and the floor was covered in a rich red carpet. The ceiling was high and vaulted, and it was decorated with intricate gold leaf designs.

At the far end of the room was a raised platform, and on the platform was a large, ornate throne. The throne was made of solid gold, and it was encrusted with jewels.

On either side of the throne were two smaller thrones, for the king's advisor and the queen which both of them were empty.

The throne room was filled with guards, who stood at attention on either side of the platform.

The atmosphere in the throne room was solemn and respectful. Everyone who entered the room knew that they were in the presence of royalty.

The old man knelt as soon as he approached the king, who sat on the golden throne before them. The three heroes followed suit, their knees creaking as they lowered themselves to the ground. They all held their breath as the old man began to speak, his voice low and respectful.

"We humbly greet King Adham, the greatest man who has ever walked under the heavens".

The king, who had a mane of fiery red hair and wore a beautiful golden crown on his head, smiled when he saw the high priest kneel before him.

"You may rise," the king said with a smile. The old man and the three heroes stood up, and the old man spoke again as he pointed at the three boys who were standing behind him."

"At your command, we managed to summon not one, but three Legendary Heroes to help us in our upcoming war against the Demon Lord Shegar and his army. We have also managed to figure out how to use the summoning spell again," the old man said with a proud smile.

The three boys immediately flinched when they heard the term "war." Their hearts started pounding heavily as they didn't know anything about war or how to fight in it.

Adam and Jasem, who were relatively the calm ones, looked at each other with fear visible in their eyes. Dean, on the other hand, had become more excited, as he saw this as an opportunity to increase his chances of creating the powerful harem that he always dreamed about.

The king stayed silent as he looked at the three boys who were standing behind the old man. They didn't look like heroes to him at all. They were young and inexperienced, and they didn't have the look of warriors. The king was suspicious of them, and he wondered if they were really the Legendary Heroes that the old man claimed they were.

At least one of them had some muscles on him that could be considered a hero, but the other two seemed average at best.

The king needed to confirm that his high priest wasn't trying to fool him by bringing some random kids from the street and presenting them to him as heroes.

He looked at the knight who was standing beside him and nodded to him. The knight nodded in understanding and started heading toward the three boys who were standing in the middle of the hall.

The old man knew what was going to happen next and stepped aside, just as the knight drew his sword and rushed towards Dean.

Dean was caught completely off guard, and the knight arrived at his side in an instant, stabbing him in the center of his chest. Dean eyes widened as he let out a scream of pain and fell to the ground, clutching his wound.

"Aaaaah~"

Dean couldn't withstand the pain as he kept screaming and crying. He had never felt anything like this before, and he was terrified. He felt like his heart was being ripped out of his chest, and he couldn't breathe. He thought he was going to die.

Adam took a few steps back when he saw the blood coming out of his friend's chest. He couldn't handle what he was seeing, so he fell down to the ground and covered his eyes. He was shaking and crying, and he couldn't believe that this was happening.

Jasem, on the other hand, pushed the knight immediately away from his friend and stood between them. He was shaking in fear, but he was determined to protect Dean.

The knight waved his sword in the air to clean it from the blood that was on it before putting it back in its sheath. He then turned around and walked back to the king's side, his face expressionless.

Jasem, who was focused on the knight who was in front of him, forgot about his friend who he couldn't hear his screams anymore. He thought the worst had happened, and he looked back at Dean, his heart pounding in his chest.

After he turned around, Jasem saw that Dean was sitting down while looking at his chest. The wound that was there had disappeared, and his chest looked completely fine.

"How is this possible?!" Jasem exclaimed, his eyes wide with disbelief. He couldn't believe that Dean's wound had healed so quickly.

Jasem was shocked when he saw that as he was sure that he saw there was a huge wound on Dean chest that was bleeding heavily

Jasem was shocked when he saw that, as he was sure that he had seen a huge wound on Dean's chest that was bleeding heavily. He couldn't believe his eyes, and he didn't know what to think.

"Higher Regeneration, it's one of the Heroes' powers," said the old man, who stretched his hand toward Dean to help him stand up again. He looked at the king after."

"Are you satisfied with that, your majesty?" the old man asked, his eyes narrowed in challenge.

The king smiled as he nodded before standing up. Everyone in the hall kneeled before him, except for the three boys who were still in shock. They couldn't believe what had just happened.

"Heroes of the Legends, lend us your powers and take down the Demon Lord and his evil army in this great war that is heading toward us," the king said, his voice filled with urgency.

The three looked at the king at the same time, their eyes filled with anger and determination. They had a lot of things to say to him regarding what was happening right now.

Dean was about to open his mouth to talk, but Adam who noticed him spoke immediately. Adam knew what this geeked-out man was about to say, even though he had just been stabbed by someone.

"My apologies, King Adham, but we are just regular teenagers who don't know anything about war. How could we defeat this great army you talk about when the only thing we have killed in our lives were ants and flies?" Adam said.

The king stood silent for a few moments, his eyes narrowed in thought. He then looked at the knight who was beside him and spoke to him.

"Sir Halland, appoint instructors for them to teach our heroes the ways of sword and magic. I want them to be ready as soon as possible".

The knight nodded before he started leaving the hall to execute the king's orders. Adam, who was getting irritated, spoke to him again.

"I think I didn't phrase what I said correctly, so let me say it again. We do not want to fight your war. We only want to go home," Adam said, his voice firm but pleading.

As Adam said that, the king was confused as to why one of the Heroes would say that. He looked at the high priest, who lowered his head in shame, knowing his mistake.

The king then stepped down from the throne and walked towards the three heroes who were before him. He stopped directly in front of them and started talking.

"It seems like my high priest didn't explain things to you. So, let me give you the short answer to your concerns. If you want to get back to your world, you're going to have to fight the Demon Lord. The only way for you to go back to your world is by killing the Demon Lord and taking his core to open the dimensional gate."

Adam tilted his head in disbelief. He could not accept this nonsense. He did not ask for any of this. He was about to lash out at the king, but Jasem stopped him immediately before he did something stupid.

"We will fight!" Jasem said, looking at the king with determined eyes. He would do anything to go back to his world and keep his promise to Amanda, who was waiting for him.

Adam was upset, while Dean was smiling, when they heard what Jasem said. Both had different perspectives on the matter.

The king, not wanting to go back and forth with the heroes on their first day, turned to the high priest who was standing beside him.

"Oliver, take the heroes to their house so they can rest for today. And please do your job and explain to them everything you know about the Demon Lord and the war."

The old man nodded in response to what the king said. He knew that he had not done a good job explaining things to the heroes from the start.

The king then turned around and started leaving the hall with his knights who followed behind him. He did not have anything else to say to them for now, as he was heading back to attend to other matters. This left the three heroes standing in the great hall, wondering what was going to happen next.
