Heroes of the Legends

At a basketball game, Jasem anxiously perched on the bench, fidgeted while his eyes remained fixated on the dwindling seconds displayed on the glowing scoreboard, ticking relentlessly below the 40-second mark.

With the game locked in a tense tie at 103 to 103, Jasem's inner desire to shout at his coach and demand playing time surged within him. Yet, he knew all too well that such an outburst would only result in being benched for the remainder of the game, a lesson learned from a previous attempt.

Torn away from the ticking clock, Jasem redirected his gaze towards the court, where the opposing team now possessed the ball. His heart sank as he witnessed his teammate slip and fall, leaving the opposing point guard with a clear path to the hoop.

Dream Land
