Heroes of the Legends

"Porta has fallen," a weary Scout announced to Adam and the gathered army commanders at the main camp of the Avalonian Army. The tent hummed with discussion as plans for the upcoming battle were underway.

Unease settled among the lords, their gazes shifting from one another before fixating on Adam, who exuded an unusual calmness, much like the legendary figures DAdan and DEan. Only a select few, including Adam, knew that such news was to be expected.

Curiosity tinged with concern filled Adam's voice as he inquired, "Have any of our men survived?" His thoughts turned to the valiant knights and loyal guards of Porta, hoping for a chance to regroup with them in the future.

The Scout's response was grim and final, "Everyone perished." A collective sigh escaped the commanders, their assumption shattered that the Sharqi kingdom had only targeted combatants. Adam nodded, the weight of the news sinking in, before dismissing the Scout with a subtle wave of his hand.
