Stepping Onto The Road Of Cultivation

Louie was sitting on the makeshift bed in the cave reciting his own self made cultivation technique. Because this technique has never been made before the system's notified him.

Not even wasting time, he clicked 'no' because it was stupid to put a target on his back when he wasn't strong enough yet to protect himself inside and outside 'Realm'.

Suddenly the Qi in the area was attracted towards Louie as he started to absorb an unreal amount of Qi/s. A trashy common technique could only allow a person to absorb 1 Qi/s where as to Louies Divine technique which is allowing to absorb a whooping 300 Qi/s!

The most Qi absorbed per second on the mortal plains were at most 10! But he was absorbing 300! If anyone saw this they'd faint from pure shock. This type of absorption wasn't even seen in the upper heavens.

After just four seconds Louie broke through to the first step of Martial Apprentice. As he broke through he felt his muscles strengthen and his bones harden as the Qi flows throughout his body and enters his dantian.

Getting up and stretching he feels his strength increase tremendously. He then took off most of his robes, and shadow boxed for a bit to get used to his strength again. After he was done sweat was dripping from his body as he exited the cave and jumped through the waterfall into the lake.

He washed himself in the lake and got out, he dried himself on some random cloth he found inside the cave that didn't smell horrible and put his robes on.

Sitting back on the makeshift bed Louie started to cultivate again, this time though it wasn't as quick as four seconds. Each step in every realm of cultivation gets harder and harder to break through because of the amount of Qi needing to get to that level.

To get to Martial Apprentice you needed 1,000Qi to break through, but Martial Warrior needed 10,000Qi to break through.

The first realm of cultivation is called the {Mortal} or {Martial} realm. This is because the Qi is used to strengthen ones body to peak perfection and form ones dantian.

Even though a person is still considered mortal at this realm they are not to be compared to normal mortals who doesn't cultivate. They are on a whole different level. The difference is so big that one martial cultivator could beat a whole army of non-cultivating mortals.

Each stage isn't that big of a gap unless it's from either 3 to 4, 6 to 7 or 9 to the upper stage. This is because they are separated into lower, middle and peak stages that have a massive difference.

After just half a minute he broke through again into the Martial Apprentice second stage. This made Louie have a rush of power surge through his body. Continuing to cultivate he had gotten to Martial Apprentice third stage.

This usually takes a person 5 years to accomplish if you had a common physique and a basic technique. If people saw the rate he broke through the levels they would kneel over and kick the bucket.

Louie stood up and stretched once again, he then takes everything from the cave and exits it. Carefully climbing down he got to the ground and started to look around.

In the distance in all direction except from behind is covered with thick forest. This meant Louie was completely surrounded by forests, but from being a reborn into his past self he knew that if he went left he would eventually get to a small village that is slowly breaking apart and collapsing.

Even though the village was almost completely destroyed it still held value. In Louies past life a random guy who got drunk found himself in the same village and attacked a random person. This triggered a chain of events that revealed a person who lived in the village was once a commander in a massive city. The commander killed the guy, and stated everyone is the same selfish monsters that is no better than demons.

Louie thought that if he goes to the village and treated them nicely and helped them he could gain a few interesting things.

Deciding his path of action he headed left into the forest. Entering the tree line the atmosphere became gloomier than the luscious lake and waterfall. Everything seemed dark and dull. This was mainly due to the wild animals that made this forest their homes.

The constant killing and fights over territory it became a land of a lot of death. Keeping this in mind Louie cautiously travelled through zig zagging and weaving past the trees.

After a hour of walking a clicking sound appeared in the distance, this made Louie become alert. Slowing his pace he carefully started to walk quietly, avoiding dry sticks that could snap and give his location away.

Just as he was walking he could see the thing making the noise. It was a tall insect that had a white exoskeleton. It looked like a praying mantis but the arms weren't sharp but more blunt and useful to smash things in.

The eye sockets were holding the insects red eyes in place, as it was carefully looking around to find it's pray it sensed. When the monsters back was turned Louie came out of hiding in an instant drawing his sword cutting the insects head of cleanly.

As the insect dropped Louie started to dissect it and collect the valuable things like the exoskeleton or it's meat. Surprisingly not only did it have good materials it had a Qi core lodged beside the heart. The Qi core was used for a faster way to cultivate.

After being done with the corpse Louie casually walked away as smaller wild beasts sprang out of the bushes and ate the mangled insects corpse.

This was his first battle in his new life and he won without any difficulty at all. Getting closer to the exit of the forest night time was approaching as the sun was threatening to make the sky turn pitch black.

Picking up his pace he jogged through the forests as he got to a mud road. Louie went up the road towards the village.

After reaching the village he could instantly see the poor conditions these people had to live in. The wooden houses which were more like huts that had its wooden walls rotten and easily knocked to the ground.

Getting closer Louie could see everyone living in the village happy and cheerful. Despite their living conditions they still had the will to be positive and optimistic.

Reaching the front of the village everyone in a distance was alerted as I was a stranger walking into a village of peaceful people. Some was scared and instantly ran into their rotting house.

Noticing this Louie knew something had happened to this village that wasn't revealed to the public in his past life.
