People fear death for many reasons. For some, the fear of what comes after. The fear of being forgotten. A threat to the meaningfulness of life. Being forced to stop life projects.
This was what the world feared before. Now, what we fear is what we become 
After Death.

A suspenseful story told by different characters over the years of the zombie apocalypse. The group consists of high school kids and deals with troubling events in which not everyone survives.

In a month, I built an empire and watched it fall. I saved those who could not save themselves, gave them a home and food in their stomachs, then I washed their blood off of my clothes in a river. Maybe it was stupid of me to even have tried but it was good while it lasted. Losing something like that isn't easy, it hurts your brain in more ways than you could imgine. Now I know how Ethan feels. 


Everyone I used to know has left me, in fairness, they had a good reason too. I carry my son on my back in hopes of finding something good again. He asks me when we'll find it, no matter how hard I try, I can't give him an answer.

"Ethan, Emilio has been gone for eleven days. Do you have any plan to do anything?"


"Steve has been gone for over a month, Lila, I've been doing what I can, for now. I already told you I assigned some of the new people to search for them. Besides, Steve and Emilio aren't the only ones."


"Sir, the generators are low on fuel, without them Clara Brigham wont be able to complete Benjy's surgery."


"Yes I know, Grahame, Nina and Alyson are already out looking for some."


"Kinda ironic that we're at a gas station and have no gas."


"That's not funny, Archer. Grahame, was that all?"


"Not exactly, sir. On a more pressing matter, Mr. Alinsky hasn't returned, him and Juna were supposed to be back yesterday.
