44. Butterflies

Alizeh's POV

I felt her hand caressing softly on my head when I let out my sobs while hugging her.

"Alizeh, I'm here. What happened? Did anyone misbehave with you?" Her words melted me more. The exact warmth I want that she gave me.

We parted away but I kept looking down. Still not getting over the hurtful words I heard. I noticed her picking out a small bottle of water from her handbag.

She handed it to me.

When I refused she held my hand.

"You will feel better. Have some water"

I grabbed it and hastily drank it. I handed an empty bottle to her hand. I could still hear the faded music and beats coming from the pub.

"Can we go out?" I asked, more than demanded while holding her hand. She led me towards the exit.

After coming out, I felt my emotions surging up together.

She made me lean back on a car, which was unknown to me. But I stood with the support of that. She didn't talk, instead waited for me to come up with words.
