Oblivion

An ocean of truly suffocating smoke rose again to invade everything.

For this reason, and also because of his fatigue which had become downright alarming, Miron did not see the monster silently approaching him from behind, raising his sharp weapon, a sword forged from a black metal and specially designed for him, and wanted to strike him without return. But again, he didn't succeed in his plan, because Kei, so loyal, unfailingly dedicated and who loved his friend so much, stepped in and received instead the sword right in his chest, a sword that, while sinking into him, tore all his flesh.

Miron, helpless, breathless, looked at the terrible picture before him, still denying its reality, too shocked to accept it as it was in all its horror and despair.

"Kei, what have you done?" he finally said.

Kei smiled. Blood came out of his mouth and flowed.

"Miron, didn't...I...tell you? I would do...anything for you. I love you beyond words."
