The town of Bucle, new member almost at hand

When Perros said that Bucle was the closest town to Harnsey, it was true, but only half true. It was still a half-day ride.

Perros laid on Delgado's back. And covered his face with his hat.

"Delgado, tell me when we get to Bucle, will you?" He yawned.

Delgado shook his head up and down and growled.

"I hope that means yes." Perros laughed and fell asleep.

And so Delgado slowly made his way to the town of Bucle. On the way he stopped many times to drink and eat, but after some time he arrived in the town of Bucle.

Bucle is a bigger town than Harnsey. It's got more people, more shops, but like every other town, it's got one main saloon. Delgado didn't know where Perros wanted to go, so he stopped before the saloon.

Delgado growled, but Perros was still asleep. He had no choice but to shake him off. He shook a little, and Perros slowly began to fall off his back. After a while he was on the ground, with only his leg still holding onto the stirrup.

"Are we there yet?" Perros said in his sleep.

Delgado rolled his eyes and stepped on him.

"Ow!" Perros screamed and started holding his belly.

"You didn't have to do that..." He added painfully.

Delgado laughed and went for a drink.

When his pain passed, he got up and went to the saloon.

The saloon wasn't as lively as Harnsey's. People only talked in pairs, if at all.

"Well, no one said it would be the same..." Perros thought.

He slowly made his way toward the bar while looking around him, noticing a lot of drunk people. When he reached the bar there was no one was behind him. Perros leaned over the bar, but still couldn't find the barman.

He sat down on a bar stool and waited for the barman to come. He had to keep himself entertained, so he listened to the conversation of others. A one couple caught his attention.

"You're stupid..." One of the locals drunkenly said.

"If I was stupid I wouldn't be talking with you, you idiot." His friend replied, also drunkenly, trying to eat his soup with a fork.

"Look at you, gra ha ha ha..." The first one started laughing.

He laughed so hard he fell over with his chair on the floor.

"Drunk people are funny." Perros giggled.

The door behind the bar opened and someone walked in. It was the barman.

"Hello sir, may I offer you something?" Barman smiled.

"Rum, will you?" Perros said and put two coins on the bar.

"Right away." The barman said, took the money and went looking for rum.

Perros waited patiently for the bartender. In the meantime, he wanted to count the money that had accidentally fallen into his lap the other day.

"So let's see how much we even have." He reached for the pouch tied to his belt.

But when he tried to grab it... the pouch wasn't there.

"I would say we have something around 1000 minies." Said cloaked man.

Perros looked around, at the nearest table sat a cloaked figure with his pouch.

"Hey, that's mine!" Perros said.

When he got up and was about to go to the man's table, he suddenly dissappeared.

"Huh!? Where did he..." Perros didn't even finished his sentance.

"Mister, here's your drink." Barman finally came back.

As Perros sat back down on the bar stool, he noticed someone sitting next to him.

"Barman, give me some rum too..." He said and put two coins on the bar.

Barman gave the men their drinks and went to the back again.

They were just sitting for a while. Then the person sitting next to Perros took his drink and said:

"Cheers, partner." And wanted to tap glasses with Perros.

"I'm not you partner, but if you insist..." Perros took a shot and looked at him.

That man had a pouch that looked like Perros's pouch. Perros looked on that man's pouch and it looked like he was thinking.

"Aah, good drink.... YOU...!" Perros realized.

"YOU ARE THE SCUM WHO STOLE MY POUCH!" He added angrily.

"Don't worry, you can have it back... I just bought one drink... that's it." The mysterious man said calmly and tossed the pouch to Perros.

"At least you could have asked. I'd have no problem inviting you to one." Perros still sounded angry.

"So anyway, why are you wearing that cover? Did you steal too many pouches?" Perros laughed.

"Not exactly, I'm being pursued by a certain institution...." He said and took a drink.

"Which institution? The bank?" Perros was still laughing.

"No.... government." The mysterious man said in annoyance and put his glass down.

"WHAT?! THE GOVERNMENT?" Perros shouted in horror.

"You don't have to SHOUT IT." The mysterious man said again in annoyance.

"Sorry... and why?" Perros asked questioningly.

"I'm not going to tell you why... let's just say I'm a wanted man." The mysterious man said warningly.

"YOU'VE GOT A BOUNTY?! HOW MUCH? HOW MUCH?" Perros said with excitement, and his eyes lit up like stars.

"LIKE I SAID, DON'T YELL!" The mysterious man shouted.

Silence fell over the salon. They all took a serious look at them.

"Sorry..." The mysterious man whispered.

"It's not much... something like 50,000 minies." He added modestly.

"Awesome!" Perros rejoiced.

"Do YOU have a bounty?" The mysterious man asked and took a drink.

"No, I just started my journey on becoming a Bandazai." Perros said proudly.

"YOU?!" The mysterious man spurted out his drink.

"Yeah, me! You got a problem with that?" Perros said angrily.

"No, not at all. Everyone has a dream." The mysterious man smiled.

They were silent for a moment and then Perros asked.

"I've forgot to ask... what's your name mister?" Perros asked.

"N..." The mysterious man didn't even finished his sentence.

He heard something outside. The mysterious man looked out of the window.

"Any problems?" Perros asked.

"Well, guess who's outside.... sheriff with my wanted poster." The mysterious man said sharply.

"What are you going to do?" Perros asked again.

"Well, I'll run away..." The mysterious man said and.... ran out the back of the saloon.

"Wait. Join..." Perros almost finished.

"STOP, in the name of the law. You and your complice." Shouted sheriff.

"I'm not... forget it." Perros said and ran after the mysterious man.

Perros and the mysterious man ran out the back of the saloon.

"Where are you going to run?" Perros asked as he ran.

"Somewhere distant, where he can't find me." The mysterious man said breathlessly.

When they reached the outside. They were located in some back alley.

"Wait..." Perros whistled.

"What are you doing?" The mysterious man asked.

"Offering my help." Perros replied.

"Now hop on." He added and Delgado came running briskly over.

"Well, I guess I don't have much choice..." The mysterious man said and mounted Delgado.

And with him, Perros and Delgado. They made their way through town, only from behind could bullets be heard flying and the sheriff shouting.

"So again.... what's your name again?" Perros asked while focusing on the ride.

The mysterious man took off his hood and smiled.

"Nazo... just Nazo." He said and together they made their escape through town.
