Vast sea, not as calm as it seems

After Marco had boarded the boat without intending to, Perros and his gang set out to sea.

"ARE YOU CRAZY?" Marco panicked.

"No, not at all..." Perros said clearly.

"If you don't want to be here, jump in the water and swim back to shore." Nazo said.

"I can't swim..." Marco mumbled.

"What did you say?" Perros almost burst out laughing.

"I CAN'T SWIM, ALRIGHT!" Marco said furiously.

Perros and Bruno burst out laughing, even Nazo chuckled a little. In the meantime Cyra went to look around the boat.

"What's this?" Cyra picked something up. It was a newspaper. She opened it and couldn't believe her eyes.

She immediately rushed back to them.

"Do you know what it is?" Cyra asked seriously.

"Yes, a newspaper..." Perros replied.

"You've never seen one?" He added and laughed.

"Argh... look at them." Cyra said and handed him the newspaper.

Perros took the newspaper and looked through it with the others. There was an article on the front page with bounties. And in them were Perros, Nazo and many others. Perros' bounty was increased from 0 to 75 000 minies and Nazo's bounty was also increased to 75 000 minies.

"I..." Perros said slowly.

"Don't worry..." Bruno was interrupted by Perros.

"... have a bounty!" He added happily.

"What? Why are you happy? Now the lawmen will come after you!" Bruno said uncomprehendingly.

"Leave him be..." Nazo said and looked at Perros, who was as happy as a little kid.

"I guess it's in his way of becoming a Bandazai." He added and smiled.

"And what about you, aren't you glad that your bounty has increased as well?" Bruno asked.

"Not particularly..." Nazo replied and looking back at the newspaper.

"Wait..." Marco paused.

"You are outlaws?" He added, horrified.

"Yes, something like that."Perros said bluntly.

Marco looked around.

"So I guess even you, Bruno..." Marco said in disgust.

"Maybe I'll try swimming back..." He added quietly.

"Did they do something bad to you?" Bruno was offended.

"No, but..." Marco was interrupted by Bruno.

"No, so don't lump them in with the other outlaws." He added, giving Marco a serious look.

"They're not like the others..." He added once more and made his way to the bow of the ship.

"Well, now that we understand each other..." Perros said, looking around at the sea.

"How long before we reach Minami territory?" He added, turning to Marco.

"Um, given the wind speed and the water conditions..." Marco scratched his head.

"Probably a day and a half. Without a break." He added, moving behind the helm.

"How long would it take us if we rode a horse?" Perros wondered.

"Why do you ask? You wouldn't get there with one..." Nazo muttered.

"Maybe once so much... Who knows." Marco spoke up from the helm.

"Mhm, mhm..." Perros sounded clever.

They didn't sail for a long time and already reached the open sea. Cyra was enjoying the wind and the view, but she also noticed that something wasn't right with Perros.

"Perros, aren't you a little... pale?" Cyra asked worriedly.

"No, I don't think so..." Perros said, and it was obvious he was a little dizzy.

"If you say so..." Cyra chuckled.

Perros smiled at her, but then threw up in the sea.

"You're not okay..." Cyra said with a blank expression.

"Who would have thought that someone like YOU would get seasick..." Bruno laughed.

"That's not funny..." Perros threw up once more.

"Come on, drink up... it'll make it better." Nazo said and handed him the water.

It wasn't fast recover, but after a while Perros got better and the boat became noisy again

"Are we going to meet any pirates?" Perros asked.

"Ehm... No?" Marco said uncertainly.

"That's unfortunate..." Perros said disappointedly.

"You wanted us to be under attack by some stinking pirates?" Marco was horrified.

"Do you know how you're going to name your gang yet?" Cyra asked.

"ANSWER ME FIRST!" Marco shouted.

"The newspaper named us 'White Hats' after my hat..." Perros said.

"But that's really similar to one pirate group. And I don't want to piss them off... Their captain is really strong..." He added.

"HEY!" Marco was angry.

"So you want something original..." Cyra mused.

"Maybe something you have in common with your members?" She added.

"Hmm..." Perros seemd to be thinking

"Or maybe something that represents you or...." Cyra was interupted by Perros.

"Six guns... Because that's how many members it's gonna have. Not counting myself..." Perros said proudly.

"That's a good name, I like it!" Bruno rejoiced.

"Not bad, I'll give you that..." Nazo agreed.

"So we're officially 'Six Pistols'!" Perros proclaimed.

"Look, a boat!" Marco shouted.

"Yes, a boat. That's what we're traveling on..." Perros said sarcastically.

"No, I mean in front of us!" Marco added.

"Pirates?!" Perros shouted in amazement.

"I wouldn't be so happy if it was them..." Bruno looked at the approaching boat.

A few minutes passed and the approaching ship came to a stop. No one was on it. It was suspicious.

"Hello, are you pirates?" Perros called out questioningly.

No answer. The ship was dead silent, the only sound came from the waves lapping against the side of the ship. After a while there was a creak of a door and a man came from below deck.

"Yo, is this the right direction to Seaward?" The person asked.

"Uh-huh." Perros sounded.

"Thanks and yeah..." The person said.

"We are something like pirates. Get 'em, boys!" He added, and many of other pirates jumped from their boat onto the ship where Perros and everyone else was.

"P-Pirates!" Marco cried out in horror and fainted.

"Really? Now?" Nazo said angrily.

"Do you have any gold with you?" Their leader asked.

"Yeah..." Perros replied.

"Oh no..." Cyra said quietly.

"But not for you..." Perros added and smiled.

There were six pirates. On the Perros side, there were three who could fight.

"6 to 3, I like it..." Perros smiled.

"Bruno, can you fight?" He added.

"Um, I'm not sure, but I can defend myself properly." Bruno said nervously.

"So you can." Perros said directly.

Bruno pulled out his frying pan and was ready to fight. Nazo is always ready, of course.

The Pirates attacked first. Two of them went after Bruno. He pushed one away and struck the other one in the head.

Perros, who was already fighting, looked at him.

"See, I knew you could do it." Perros laughed and punched a pirate.

Perros and Nazo had no problem fending off the pirates. Their leader was still on their ship. He knew they screwed up.

"That's enough!" The leader of the pirates shouted and drew his weapon.

Perros, Nazo and even Bruno looked at him with cold expressions.

"Give me your money!" He shouted.

"Or I will..." The pirate leader was silenced by Cyra, who took him over the head with a gold brick.

"Here's our gold..." She said and smiled.

"Well done!" Perros exclaimed.

They took the unconscious pirates and loaded them onto their ship. And robbed them. By the time they did, Marco had regained consciousness.

"Did they leave?" Marco asked.

"Well, we forced them..." Bruno said, pointing to their ship, which was slowly drifting away.

"Huh? So you fought?" Marco asked.

"Yeah, and we even got their gold and supplies." Perros smiled.

It was getting dark, everyone took turns watching and steering the boat. They were getting closer and closer to their destination.
