Twin gang's camp. An ill-thought-out plan

Perros, Nazo, Bruno and Esco were slowly approaching the Twin gang's camp. Although the first guard almost noticed them, Nazo took care of him and they all continued on.

"Changing of the guard!" A voice came from the camp.

"Damn, this guy's gonna be missed." Esco was pissed.

"Someone take his clothes and go in there instead." He added, looking at the bushes where the guard lay.

"Perros, you resemble him the most of us. You should go." Bruno said.

"Okay, at least I can be there first." Perros laughed.

"Take us as hostages." Nazo suggested.

"It's safer that way. If they were to find us sneaking around, what do you think they'd do?" He added.

"You got a point, Naz." Esco said.

"Thank you..." Nazo said.

"I guess." He added unsurely.

They waited while Perros changed clothes with the guard. As Perros was changing, the voice from the camp resounded again.

"We'd better hurry." Nazo said.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm almost done." Perros said and walked out of the bushes.

"Let's go." Perros added and tied everyone's hands except Esco's.

They hurried to the enemy camp, so there won't be anymore trouble.

"I'm back! And I found some smart-asses snooping around our camp!" Perros said energetically.

"Stop shouting..." The head guard said sleepily.

"About the hostages.... go see Flora." He added, putting his feet back up and falling asleep.

"F-Flora?" Perros asked cluelessly.

"Our leader, remember? You haven't been out for too long, how can you not recall." The head guard said with his eyes closed.

"Now let me rest." He added.

Perros turned to his partners, who wore the same expression as he did, totally clueless.

"I'll try the wooden house in the middle." Perros said quietly.

They all nodded in agreement and followed Perros.

Just before Perros climbed the first step into the cabin, the door burst open and a small child stood there.

"Finally! A new workforce!" The child exclaimed.

Perros looked at her in incomprehension, so did Nazo and Bruno.

"Ehm, I'm here to see chief Flora." Perros said and stepped closer to her.

"Can you show me where she is?" He squatted down and added.

"YOU MORON!" The child screamed and hit Perros over the head.

"I AM FLORA!" She added and hit Perros once again.

"Yeah, yeah... Now be a good girl and show me where chief Flora is." Perros smiled.

"You..." Flora said furiously.

Another woman appeared in the doorway. This woman was much taller than Flora.

"What's all the commotion?" The taller woman said calmly.

"They don't believe I'm Flora because of my height!" Flora said angrily.

The taller woman looked at Perros and the others tied behind him.

"She is Flora... Are you new here?" The taller woman looked at Perros.

"Yes, unfortunately I'm new here." Perros said.

"We are doomed." Nazo and Bruno thought to themselves.

"Sigh... I'm Fauna." Fauna looked at Flora.

"W-well, I'll let you off the hook since you brought in a new workforce." Flora said and went back inside.

"But next time you'll tell me I'm just some kid. Then I'll beat you to a pulp." She added from inside.

"Come with me. I'll show you where to leave the intruder." Fauna said and left the cabin.

Perros, Nazo and Bruno followed her behind the cabin where the others were imprisoned.

"Just put them in one of the free cages." Fauna said and walked back.

"Okay." Perros said and watched her leave.

"Okay, she's inside now." Perros said quietly.

"What now, cap'n?" Esco asked.

"Where did YOU come from?" Bruno asked.

"I am an animal, no one would suspect an animal." Esco laughed.

"That's right..." Bruno said.

"I'm going wait until they are asleep." Perros said

"And of course I'll deal with them later... I'll be back soon." He added and left.

"W-Wait..." Bruno said quietly.

"You forgot to put us in the cage..." He added.

"I think we should get inside..." Nazo said unsurely and looked at Bruno.

"Yeah..." Bruno said and opened the cage.

While the two of them were getting into the cage, Perros went to look around for something that would interest him.

"This place is so boring..." Perros thought to himself.

He wandered around for a while, but then sat down under a tree and fell asleep.

While Perros was trying to sleep, Nazo and Bruno were already sitting in the cage. From the view of the cage, they had already scouted the place. One of the prisoners, who had his cage covered with a huge piece of cloth, woke up. They had noticed him after the cloth had fallen to the ground, and Nazo and Bruno could now clearly see who it was.

"Marco!" Nazo and Bruno said in surprise.

"You guys!" Marco shouted.

"What are you doing here?" Bruno asked.

"YOU LEFT ME THERE. ALL BY MYSELF. AND AS YOU CAN SEE, I GOT CAPTURED!" Marco shouted angrily.

"Well, you could have gone back." Nazo said.

"HOW?" Marco got angry.

"Um, sail away?" Bruno said brightly.

"No, I mean... How could I abandon my friends." Marco said softly.

"And who said we were your..." Bruno interrupted Nazo.

"You have my thanks then, I bet even Perros would be glad to hear that." Bruno said.

They talked for several hours until night came. As night fell, Perros awoke.

"Let's get to work." Perros stretched and went to check on Nazo and Bruno.

"Hey there." Perros walked over to the cages.

"Finally." Bruno said in annoyance.

"You know... I fell asleep." Perros laughed.

He looked around and saw Marco.

"Marco?!" Perros asked in surprise.

"What are you doing here?" He added.

"Long story short... I've been captured." Marco said annoyed.

"Let's get all of you out of here." Perros said and walked over to Nazo and Bruno's cage.

"You too, of course." He added, opening Marco's cage.

"Thank you, Perros." Marco said.

Marco's cage was near the corner of the cabin, with one more cage around the corner. And another person in it. When that person heard Perros' name, he called out to him as well.

"Perros?" A voice came from around the corner.

Perros had a feeling he'd heard the voice before, but he didn't know to whom it belonged. He went around the corner and immediately knew.

"YOU?" Perros said in surprise.

"What was your name again...?" He asked.

"Raven..." Raven said.

"How can you not remember me?!" She added affectionately.

"Who's this woman?" Nazo asked.

"Remember when I said I met Gerald back in Westernfield? We met in a bar and I had a bit of a row with her." Perros explained.

"And you two are friends?" Bruno asked.

"Well..." Perros interrupted Raven.

"Rivals!" Raven proudly declared.

"I don't know about that." Perros mumbled.

"Would you be so kind as to let me out of this damn cage?" She asked.

"Okay, but how did you end up here in the first place?" Perros asked while opening her cage.

"It's a long story." Raven said and turned to Perros so he could untie her.

"And what are YOU doing here? Raven asked.

"THAT is a long story." Perros said.

While Perros and the others were talking. The guard who had been knocked down earlier returned to the camp. But not alone, with the other guards who were on duty at the time.

"That guy!" The knocked guard shouted and pointed at Nazo.

"Inform the leaders." The other guard said.

After a moment, Perros and the others were surrounded by enemies from the camp. Even Flora and Fauna came.

"Deja vu." Perros said and looked around.

Nazo chuckled and was ready to fight.

"So you're a fraud." Flora said.

"I should have thought of that when you didn't recognized me!" She added furiously.

"Raven, will you help us?" Perros asked and smiled.

"Of course!" Raven answered bravely.

"Then we'll have a draw." She added and smiled back.

They all had each other's backs. But still, the enemies were in the majority.
