His mind was blank and so was his gaze as he stared at the sky blankly.
This past month, with the gravity bracelet at hand, he has been training his body as much as he could.
He knew that despite the YGGDRASIL Magecraft System being his main source of power—he would need a LOT of time before he could reach Super-Tier unless something out of expectation happened.
So it was best to focus on different power systems for now.
Swordsmanship… After reaching the Grandmaster realm, he felt like he couldn't break through any further so he didn't waste any more time over it.
With time, he will advance. There was no need to solely focus on it.
Barrier Manipulation… Well, this one was kinda a tricky subject since again, he had no one to teach him. He could only learn from his failures.
Though there was progress, it wasn't much.
While leaving other weapons aside, another main fighting source he had now was his physique which kept growing stronger since he had entered the Jujutsu Kaisen world.
For this very reason, he had asked for a gravitational bracelet since he wanted to push the speed at which his body was growing stronger.
And if anime has taught him something then that was gravitational training is best to develop one body.
With the help of a bracelet, he indeed was able to push the speed at which his physique was improving. He kept training under a strict regime for two months now, and he finally hit the bottleneck.
He could tell and feel, his body had stopped improving itself.
If he kept on training, he could still feel that his strength was increasing but the speed was too slow! So slow that he felt like he was wasting his time, like swordsmanship.
He felt… annoyed.
Except for training and flirting, he basically has nothing else to do all day. It was annoying.
"Hot!" A slight soft voice resounded behind him, inside his apartment as he turned his gaze to look at the blond nun that was making something in the kitchen.
Remembering how for some reason she started to take care of the food side in the house over the prerequisite of "I can't just freeload doing nothing", he sighed.
Even though with him taking care of her, his SP was increasing by 10 every day, Noah felt that it was too slow.
The prices in the system were way too goddamn expensive! — he couldn't help but curse under his breath. He thought whoever created this system was definitely a sadist.
'Could it be my future self? I did read something like that in my past life… MC creating a system for its past self or something like that…'
While he was narcissistically thinking of how his future self had transcended the barriers of the Multiverse by creating a system, the blond nun finally finished creating the soup.
Tasting and nodding her head, she called for him.
Again sighing, he went back into the room—from the balcony—before sitting beside the table as Asia placed the soup in front of him.
Simple… one word was all he could think of.
'No wait… is it even soup? What is this?'
There was broth, pieces of meat, carrots, and some leaves, or was it cabbage? He honestly didn't care.
"Hm? It's surprisingly good." He raised a brow and praised, definitely not expecting it.
"I know right!" Asia excitedly said. "When I was in Italy, churches would often do small charities for orphans. They loved this soup. I learned it from there."
He nodded his head before continuing to drink the soup while thinking of a way to become stronger.
There were many orthodox ways other than depending on what he had, but all of them required him to spend a shit ton of time.
And time was something he lacked right now.
From what information he had collected, Kokabiel defected. But that was not something he was worried about, since he had the confidence to fight with an Ultimate-Class devil… at least if one only talked about close combat…
He knew his physique was at the level of Ultimate-Class, so with some tricks, dealing with Kokabiel wasn't an issue.
The problem was people that MIGHT conclude with him.
'For example Jungle… I still have no idea what they are doing in Kuoh…'
He thanked his past self for reading Project K's wiki. After all, after the death of Mikoto, he didn't bother watching other movies. To him, Project K ended when Mikoto died.
If he had not read the wikis, he would have no idea of other Kings and characters later introduced in the series.
"How is your study going?" He asked, finishing his soup.
He had already talked about her transfer to Kuoh with Sona and Rias, he was just waiting for her to get a basic understanding of Japanese.
"It's going great!" She enthusiastically answered. "I've already memorized Hiragana and Katakana, but it is very hard to learn Kanji… there are so many complicated characters in it…"
"It should be enough." Noah nodded his head, quite pleased with her results.
He knew that she was quite hard-working, spending most of her time either in the kitchen or study.
Though he could understand when she said Kanji was difficult, even he wasn't proficient in it after all.
"Then from next week, you should join Kuoh Academy with me. Conserving with other students will help you not get bored while also improving your language skills."
Asia's face beamed hearing him. She has been eagerly waiting to join the same academy as Noah for a month now.
Since the first day they have slept together, though it was awkward at the start, she has become quite close with Noah.
It could be said that in her whole life, she never had someone so close to her who didn't hate or despise her. She quite liked her current lifestyle.
Though she knew that one day, once Azazel completed the negotiation with Heaven, she would return. Till then, she wanted to enjoy her time with him as much as she could.
Joining the same academy was definitely something she was looking forward to.
If only she or Azazel knew that Noah had no plan of letting her go so easily… leaving the fact that he had taken quite liking to her, he can't just let his free SP farm go just like that!
If this goes smoothly till the end of summer vacation, he can advance to a Tier again! He wasn't just going to let her go that easily!
After finishing his soup, he left for the academy.
Today was the day that Rias said that someone from her house would visit her regarding her marriage. He wanted to be there to see the legendary ice queen aka Grayfia Lucifuge. He can't miss such an opportunity.
'I wonder if she is married to Sizechs, if not…'
Remembering how many authors of FF in his past life changed her relationship status, he was quite excited to see if such a thing also happened in this world.
After all, since there were xover with other worlds, anything could be possible.
While thinking of such possibilities, he reached the ORC building. Without knocking, he opened the door, gaining the attention of everyone inside, making them stare at him.
"For I may understand that all the males you've seen so far fall greatly in ALL aspects when put in front of me, it is still quite rude if you keep staring at me with eyes filled with so much desire. You girls will make me blush (except for you Kiba, stop staring or I'll gouge your balls out)."
"... Well… He is Noah." Rias answered, pointing at him, making Noah smile.
"The one and only. Feel free to praise me."
Rias shook her head, trying her best to not get a headache before she pointed toward the silver-haired maid standing beside her, introducing her.
"She is Grayfia, Queen and wife of my brother."
Noah stared at Grayfia before nodding. As he had thought before, she could bitch slap him to oblivion. Of course, as someone with an ego at a multiversal level, he would never admit it openly.
"Nice to meet you. I'm a maid that serves the House of Gremory. Pleased to make your acquaintance." She did a small customary bow. "I must thank you on behalf of Lord Sirzechs, Lord Noah, for helping and taking care of Miss Rias. Lord Sirzechs personally wanted to come and meet you, but there were more pressing matters to be dealt with."
"Oh…" Noah speechlessly stared at her, not knowing what to say.
What can he say? Even if he was a narcissistic and sarcastic bastard, he still can't just slap someone on the face for no reason…
'Or maybe…'
"So? What's the deal?" Walking to the couch where Koneko was sitting, he slumped beside her. Picking up a cookie and getting an intense glare from Koneko, he asked while munching over it.
Rias turned towards Grayfia, gesturing to her to explain her presence there.
"I shall explain it once Lord Riser arrives. Please be patient."
From her expression, Noah could tell that she wasn't much of a fan of reiterating something. He nodded before an apple appeared in his hand from thin air as he casually started to eat it—it tasted great.
While he was making small talk with Koneko and others, another magical circle bloomed into the end of the room, one with a burning bird on it.
No one needed to be told to whom this circle belonged as soon a group of people appeared from within it—a male and a lot of females.
"Rias, my darling, Riser has come to mee—phwa!" He didn't get to finish before his face was hit by a half-eaten apple, blowing a fiery hole in his skull.
"OHMYGOD! That was obnoxious as much as I imagined myself merging with young Gilgamesh! Too disgusting, too disgusting! Thanks for the mental image KFC."
"Riser-sama!" Shouted the girls next to him, all of them glaring back at Noah with bloodlust. "You bastard! How dare you attack Riser-sama?!"
"Oh what would you know, one-eyed big-titted woman!" Noah said before biting into a new apple, staring at Riser's Queen. "It was KFC's fault, to begin with. Who asked him to talk… like that?"
"O-one-eyed?!" Yubelluna's eyes widened before she gritted her teeth in anger. "Karlamine, Siris!" She shouted, making two girls walkout from the rank.
"Don't blame me for being rude." Siris, Riser's knight said. "You shouldn't have attacked Riser-sama."
Karlamine nodded her head. Though she was more inclined towards a knightly dual, she knew this was not a time for it.
Both of them took their weapon and rushed toward Noah, and with their physique, it would only take them seconds to reach him.

Grayfia's eyes narrowed as she stared at the black-haired young man. She couldn't read him. She could tell from his demeanor and the way he carried himself, that he was an arrogant person.
Yet, his action didn't make any sense to her. Weren't arrogant people the easiest to be dealt with? She wondered.
"Noah! Be careful!" Her husband's sister shouted, standing up from her chair, probably about to interfere.
But with the distance and seeing as how Riser's knight has already made action, it was impossible for her to interfere unless she had her level of power.
Though she knew she should stop the fight from accelerating, she was interested to see Noah's power. After all, this time, her purpose in coming was not to mediate between the two parties only.
She was also sent to keep an eye on and observe Noah Pendragon. She was interested to see how strong he was.
She saw as the two knights rushed towards him, but seeing how nonchalantly he was staring at them, eating apples, Grayfia narrowed her gaze.
Was it confidence or arrogance? She thought it would be clear soon.
"Oh." A slightly surprised exclamation left her lips, as she saw Noah raising his free hand and making a hand sign, and before anyone could understand Karlamine and Siris, both of their faces hit an invisible wall, breaking their nose and some teeth in the process.
After all, they hit that invisible wall with the momentum carried behind their moment.
'Barrier?' She stared at the see-through wall shining between Noah and the knights with interest. It was the first time she was seeing someone using Barriers as such. 'It seems like he has improved a LOT since last time.'
She internally thought before her gaze landed on the crimson-head who was worriedly staring at Noah with her hands on her chest, then on Akeno who stared at all of this with a cold smile over her face, and then on Koneko who seemed to be agitated.
She sighed.
'Being young sure is nice. Maybe I should inform Lord Sirzechs about this too.' She shook her head. With Sirzechs character and the over-protectiveness of his sister, she could already feel a headache coming.
