Please Stay

Lyra and Demidiel got back to the city, and only used 13 minutes to get to Lyra's house. Lyra treated Demidiel to a meal. Demidiel has never taken human meal before. But in other to hide his real identity as an Angel, he ate all the meal.

" You seem to enjoy the meal, there is more food here, please let me know when you are yearning for more" said Lyra.

The meal was so Good that he nearly requested for more, this was the first time he ate human food, and this was the first time he has become so close to a human. Demidiel was scared that, the gods and other angels might notice his absence, they might notice his activity on Madison City.

"i have to leave now, my people will notice my absence soon, I'm not suppose to be here". Demidiel was scared whilst saying this. Because, his Angelic powers will begin to fade slowly the more he is around humans.

"please stay" as soon as Lyra said this, Demidiel looked at her and was confused to why she asked him to stay. Lyra was so beautiful that, it reminded Demidiel of their Beauty Goddess, a God who has the power to control Nature's Beauty, The God of beauty was second to none in the heavenly realm in terms of beauty. But the Beauty of Lyra could compare to the God of Beauty which they even had a resemblance. Demidiel couldn't reply to her when she said he should stay. But he forced his words out.

"No, i must leave, you and i will be in trouble if i stay for long, i wasn't suppose to interfere in any activity in your city, saving you from those evil beings was a wrong choice i made, i will be in trouble when my people finds out". Lyra was so confused when Demidiel said this, Demidiel was so handsome that, Lyra seem to be drawn to him. He's looks were like an angel and second to none in the city (Lyra didn't know he was an Angel), Demidiel had blue eyes which reminded Lyra of her mother, she only has memory of her mothers eyes, but she never knew who she was. After all, her real parents abandoned her and she was adopted by a poor family who had no bestowed ability from the gods.

"How will i be in trouble if you stay, actually the reason i want you to stay is that, these people who use their abilities to do evil come here to search for me often, i hide when i notice them coming, it's only a matter of time for them to know my hiding spot, but you being here will make me feel safe, please stay, so tell me, how will you also be in trouble if you stay". Lyra's statement made Demidiel Dumbstruck, he nearly told her he's an Angel at that moment. But he controlled himself. Demidiel could cast an Angelic Power rune to protect Lyra, but doing that will alert the Elder gods, Lyra could be in trouble, she might not be able to face the rage of the gods. So Demidiel took other alternative.

"Alright, i will stay for two days, after two days if these people don't appear, i will take my leave".This was also a bad choice Demidiel made, but he had his own explanation to make when he face the Gods.

"What about if you leave and they come" Lyra wanted Demidiel to stay for long because he was drawn to her and also she will feel safe.

"Then relocate, you will be safe that way". Lyra was dumbstruck when Demidiel said this.

Demidiel knew when he stays for long, he will be punished by been stripped of his Angelic powers and he will be exiled from the heavenly realm to join the mortals. This punishment had been happening for ages, so he knew the consequences of been around humans for long.

"i can't relocate, this house is the last thing my adopted parents left me before they where murdered". Lyra replied feeling sad.

Demidiel stepped out of the door whilst saying "I'm leaving, stay safe and watch your back".

Lyra also stepped out quickly but Demidiel used one of his abilities 'INVISIBILITY' before Lyra stepped out of the door.

Lyra: "please don't go, you said you will stay for two days, why so sudden, I'm begging you".

Demidiel: "You can still see me?".

Lyra: "Of cause i can see you, why i'm i not suppose to see you, or are you also having an ability like these people in this city, yours might be invisibility, and i don't think you used it".

Demidiel: " You don't understand, i'm different from you people, so you are not supposed to see when i don't want you to see me, but you can".

Demidiel was scared at the moment, he thought the Gods has noticed what he has being up to, and so they've taken away his powers Angelic powers using special means. He wanted to summon his broken Angelic sword into existence again. But he stopped and realized it has no use since his powers has been stripped.

Lyra: "That's not possible, the commander of this city's army has an invisibility ability, and he uses it to arrest evil doers more often".

Demidiel: " Lyra lets go inside".

Demidiel was so down and worried he's going to be mortal like the rest of these people, mortal without an ability.
