The birds chirped as they duo sat in the garden, the butterflies glided along with the breeze as the flowers bloomed with a sweet and alluring scent.
Darius looked up at the clear blue sky, he took a deep breath and enjoyed the moment of tranquility – before destroying it with a question.
"Why did you do that?" he asked Jessica.
The pink-haired elf chuckled lowly, "Obviously, I don't want you to fight my older brother." She tried her best to look happy, but it's clear that she was not.
"But he needs some serious beating," Darius turned to Jessica.
The young woman knitted her brows, "Darius, he's the heir we can't stand against him."
The ravenette scoffed as if he cares about that.
"If we took him out, you'll be the heir," Darius said jokingly.
Jessica lightly hit Darius in the head, "Idiot."
She chuckled before shaking his head. "No. Not me, my little sister will be." She sadly said.
