The second material is Qi fruit as its name suggests it contains lots of qi it helps mortal body cultivators fill their qi and at least helps suppress chaotic qi but it would be like being under hell

Everyone has Qi, Mortal body cultivators have formless qi outside but there would be a strand of Qi inside the body if you gaze at it which only the soul tempering realm cultivator could do inside,

A mortal body cultivator can use that strand of qi inside the body as a catalyst to gain more raw power for more impact.

There are 4 stages in the Realm Early, Mid-late and peak state, When a person hits the age of 10 years old they will break through to the early mortal stage that is the world law of the small realm that cannot be defied by anyone

if someone has broken set of meridian blame the heavens, after the early stage it is rather hard to advance is mid-stage of mortal realm many people get stuck in early stages and never advance in the mid-stage of the mortal realm,

Early Mortal realm cultivators can live up to 120 years of age and Peak stage can live up to 150 years of life and in Bone tempering, realm cultivators can live up to 200 years of life.

The mortal body also counts as a cultivator because you have to build a strong foundation before you can break shackles and jump into bone tempering realm if your foundation is weak your body will explode,

with weak foundations, it is very horrifying to experts lots of people get heart devil because they are too scared to face the reality.

To reach the mid-stage of the Mortal body you need to build more strands of mortal qi the more qi you can build the stronger the foundation and the stronger you are among your peers

It wasn't too hard to find the 2 herbs because they were 3 gold each which were quite expensive for Mortal cultivators so it didn't take Ju Men to find them, the only slight problem was with the last item the mad lion's beast core.

Everyone is born with meridian but somehow if someones have a broken set of meridian or are broken in fights they're called half-mortal and are despised by most of the people in the cultivation world because they are just hated by heavens, broken meridian means hated by heavens in lower realms, so nobody likes them that's one of the reasons the old man showed disdainful look to Ju Men.

After he got all the materials he needed he bought some meats for dinner which cost him 1 gold coin he bought it for a week worth of meat because he need lots of nutrients once his meridians are joint or else he would have to die of hunger. (Current Gold coins left 7 )

His house is just 10 kilometres from the city so he left the city in hurry and to eat some roasted meat his stomach was growling
