A ring

As the sunlight reflected on them, Amias got down on his knees in front of Minda, and she immediately stood up, staring down at the diamond ring he was holding in his hand.

"Minda, I don't know if I can wait anymore, I want us to be together, I want us to be one, I don't know what our future holds for us, that's why I am here as well, please, allow me this," he said as his eyes glowed gold.

"Minda, will you marry me?" he asked as tears filled up in her eyes and she hugged him tightly and he smiled.

"Is that a yes?" he asked and she chuckled.

"Yes, that's a yes, Amias," she responded as she raised off of him and he held onto her hand, then placed the ring on her finger and her cheeks flushed as they kissed.

"I am happy, thank you, for accepting me just the way I am Minda," he said as he looked into her eyes.

"Are you happy? Or was this too soon? Am I moving too fast for you?" he asked and she smiled.
