Chapter 15

In the darkness a silhouette of man could be seen. His face was barely visible but Elina knew who he was.

" Hey " she whispered

That man raised his hands as if to touch her face but his hand went past her. It was just a image but that did not stop him he kept his hand right beside her cheek.

" Are you ok? " That man asked

" I am fine. "

" You are lying. I felt your pain every time you got hurt. How I wish I was beside you. "

" It was not really painful. " Elina smiled " Even if you are not there I can always feel you around me. " She knew If she asked he would drop everything here and come to her

" Tell me how are things going. Did you find Marcus? Where are you? " He asked

Elina proceeded to tell him all the things that happened in the time she left.

" Not bad. Staying Northern Mountains is a right decision I will make sure nobody disturbs you there. " He said he looked less worried now.

Both of them were sitting on his bed.

" Have faith in me. I will be back soon. " Elina promised. She knew it was torture for him as it was for her.

" I trust you more than I trust myself. Don't worry about things here. I will make sure that idiot Harvey is too busy to look for you. " He smiled

" Idiot. He is still the king " Elina laughed

" Nonsense. He doesn't deserve it. " He growled.

" Alright it's time, I have to go back " Elina got up from the bed.

" Ok. Take care. Tell me if you need anything. There are people who are loyal to me and will only listen to me. "

" I know. Don't worry "

Elina's figure slowly blurred and then gone. Only that man was left in the room. Alone in the darkness. The softness on his face disappeared and all that remained was coldness and cruelty. He walked towards the window, in a distance a magnificent Palace could be seen. There was harshness and cold fury on his face when he lookedin that direction. She did not talk about her injuries but he knew, every pain every trouble he knew. He glanced at the Palace. A soft voice rang in the air

" Harvey Roswell I will make you pay for every pain my mate suffered. "

His voice was cold. It could give a person chills in the back. He was still looking at the Palace quietly.

He was a wolf who has targeted his prey.

He was a wolf who want revenge for his mate.

He was a wolf who is out for blood.

The sky was dark with few rays of light shining on the people who were running up a mountain trail. This time beside Elina, Crystal and Lukas many wolves have joined them too. Soon they arrived on a river. Marcus was waiting for them there. It was shallow river, huge logs of woods were pilled up on the side.

" Pick up those logs and start running in the river." It was cold and the river was freezing but all of them stepped inside without a word.

This became a new morning routine that they had to follow.

" I am so tired " Crystal said she was sitting on the ground with Elina and Lukas. Beside them was the training field many were training their, some were in the wolves form.

Elina just glanced at her not minding her nonsense she looked at Lukas " What do you think? "

" They are trained well. Not using just brute strength but also strategy. What we lack is trackers. " Lukas said he was observing everyone for the entire morning.

" Leave it to Crys then " Elina said she has also reached the same conclusion as Lukas

" Crys? She is a tracker. " Lukas asked surprised

" Yes I am. My dad trained me, he is the top tracker in the Palace. I have never missed anyone and I am fast too. " Crystal said proudly then she asked Elina " You want me train them "

" Yes. You are good but you can't do everything so select a few and train them well. " Elina replied ' One problem solved ' she thought

" Next we need some changes in this place. " Elina said

" Changes like what " Lukas saked

" Look around yourself the people here does not have a single modern appliances. Many of them have been locked for too long to even know them. We also need few cars in case people needs to travel, teach them to drive and so on. " Elina explained

" You are right. But do we have money for that. " Crystal asked worried

" While in the Palace someone helped me invest in few ventures. A lot of money has accumulated and a lot more is coming so that is not lacking. Just help me make a list of things we need here." Elina said

" Someone helped you make money. Is that person reliable? " Lukas asked

Elina thought of a certain person and bit back a smile " He is "

" Who is it? " Crystal looked at her suspiciously, if it is a person from Palace she would know them. So she wondered who is this person that Elina trusted so much

" You will know sooner or later. Why bother " Elina smirked. No way she is telling about her mate now, it would be seen to watch when Crystal knows who he is.

Crystal was even more curious now but before she could ask Elina changed the topic

" Where are others? I haven't seen anyone since morning. "

" Em and Cassius went on a date last night. I don't think they came back. And Ethan was sleeping when we came out. " Lukas said giving them a knowing smile.

Crystal jumped up " We should look for them " she said with determination, she is not going to miss this chance to embarrass the hell out of them.

" No need. They are here. " Elina said

When Crystal saw then coming she put her hands on her waist and pretended to give a stern look to Emma and said " Where were you last night young lady? "

Emma saw her and knew that she will never hear the end of it " Well we.."

Before Emma could say anything Crystal spoke again " Isn't that a pretty little mark on your neck?" Crystal gave them a teasing look

Both Elina and Lukas were laughing while Cassius looked proud.

Emma laughed " What are you guys doing here? "

" Just discussing few things but does Ethan know " Lukas asked Cassius. " You know he still thinks you stole his little sister. "

Cassius rolled his eyes " She is my mate. He can think whatever he wants. "

" Let's go back then. I am hungry. " Crystal said she was looking forward to when Ethan would know.

And as expected by everyone Ethan gave all kinds of threats when he saw Cassius and was now munching on potato chips.

" Okay I am thinking to get something from the nearest town. It's not good for me and Crystal to go. Those are still looking for us. " Elina said " So who wants to run the errand? " She said looking around

" I will go " Cassius said " It's been too long that I have been out. "

" I will come with you " Ethan said hurriedly and then threw another glare in his direction. He still did not like the vampire who stole his sister

" Wait till we make a list. " Elina continued " Look around write everything you can think of. Give priority to those things you think are urgent. "

" Also Cassius Ethan don't be obvious. Take few more people with you. " Lukas said

Everyone agreed. They went around taking note of things they need.

" In my opinion we need to build few houses too." Crystal said

" And clothes and medicine. Even if we heal quickly people we need to prepare for a rainy day. " Lukas said

" Food supplies too. Some appliances as well. " Cassius added

" Is that all " Elina asked when nobody spoke she said " For construction ask around who wants to help in building and get things accordingly, for clothes don't bother now. Let them choose themselves instead of medicine get the ingredients me Em and Ethan will make them. As for food get it in large quantity. As for appliances don't bring too many. Also buy two more cars. " Elina explained

Everyone nodded in agreement. Soon four boys gathered to go with them. They looked nervous they have never went out. Many others were their too.

Seeing their excitement Elina felt sad. They should not live like this. She saw Neil and his friends getting in the car and waving to others and drive out. She with Emma and Ethan has already opened the barrier, she knows who goes out and comes in. She just watched the people around her and made a promise to change their lives and everyone else who is suffering in her kingdom.
