Chaos at the borders of the territory 1

"Is that true?"

"Yes of course, I promise. We will also get married soon," he said while looking at me.

I was surprised to hear that. I tried to calm myself who was not ready for marriage. But Ethan immediately called the servants and dragged me to prepare for the wedding. I couldn't do anything about my hands being grabbed by the maids and led me to a room. They started doing my make-up and dressing me in bridal gowns, then made my face as pretty as they could. The maids seemed happy about the wedding, but they had absolutely no idea how I felt.

It was slowly getting late in the afternoon. Before sunset, my wedding to Ethan took place. Not so festive, there were only the royal family and people living in the palace to witness our marriage. Ethan continued to hold my hand tightly. He didn't let go of my hand one bit. My marriage to Ethan was very different from my past life, where people promised to be together. In this Life, Ethan and I made an oath in blood. A man wearing a hood over his head approached me, along with his knife-wielding assistant. The man took the knife from his assistant's hand and started to cut my hand. Fresh blood oozed out, and the man started to take a bowl filled with water, took the blood from my hand and mixed it with the water. What happened to me happened to Ethan too. I looked at Ethan for a moment, he seemed normal with this, but this was very unexpected.

Then my blood mixed with water was given to Ethan, Ethan's blood mixed with water was given to me. Without waiting for someone's order, Ethan immediately drank the drink mixed with blood. Meanwhile, I just stood still and looked at him. A man came up to me and said, "Drink, this is your bond in marriage. Then there will be no one to separate the two of you."

I didn't want to drink this kind of drink at all, but the man in front of me had a knife in his hand. He might just kill me if I don't obey his orders. Ethan looked at me for a moment. He waited for me to drink this drink, I saw the look on his face that suddenly looked at me, and I saw the sparkle in his eyes. Without saying much, I forced myself to drink this bloody drink. I forced myself to be bound by marriage, or my history ended here.

As soon as I finished the drink and handed the glass to the man in front of me, Ethan immediately hugged me tightly. Everyone was cheering for the wedding, but I was starting to get cold. Not long after, Ethan let go of the hug. Those who witnessed our wedding congratulated us, and a small party was held. Ethan sat in his oversized chair, and I sat next to him. Ethan greeted everyone with joy.

As everyone cheered, either there was something wrong with my hearing or if this was the truth. I heard the roar of a wolf outside this place, his voice along with the sound of cheers they were going to celebrate this wedding. The sound of the wolf's loud roar scared me. When I heard the roar a few times, I immediately squeezed Ethan's hand tightly.

Ethan looked at me. He smiled sweetly at me. Somehow now, this man was filled with a formidable aura. This handsome and kind man is my husband. But somehow, my heart rejected it outright. I thought something wrong was happening to me again.

"What is it?."

"I- I'll go to the room first."

"Yeah fine, no problem. I will catch up with you soon!"

"Yeah, there's no need to hurry!" I said, immediately getting up from the chair and leaving with the two maids who accompanied me.

The bride's departure made a joke among the boys even the girls who heard the joke hid their laughter. Mr Ethan's assistant approached Ethan.

"Master, is there a problem?"

"No, she's fine. I think she's in a rush for our first night."

Mr Ethan's assistant smiled and immediately withdrew. A joke had sprung up behind the little party that the bride was waiting in the room for the first night.

But no one dared to say aloud about the joke. Such a joke would always be at the wolf's wedding. Everyone will cheer with joy with the accompaniment of the wolf's loud roar.
