Everyone looked at her confused. Most people would cry and beg for their lives to be spared but she was laughing as though she didn't care.

Salle got mad and slammed her hand on the table. "How dare you laugh in a situation like this? Do you think we were lying when we said Gerard supports the ritual?" she asked annoyed by Ayla's laughter.

Ayla stopped laughing suddenly then looked up at salle who just spoke with a serious expression. She walked straight to where Salle stood and smiled slightly showing her beautiful eyes.

Ayla said nothing for a while and just stared at the lady. She turned around and went back to the centre. "Is that all you have to say?" she asked with a bright smile on her face.

The committee members began to doubt if she was in her right senses to be smiling like that when she was about to die. And what was that? She asked if they were done talking?
