Everyone presented Gerard with gifts and they took pictures. It had been so long since Gerard received that kind of treatment from the people around him and he was grateful for this day.

Soon, the mini party was over and they all went back home leaving the couple to rest. Ayla had had a long day but she was still able to set up a party for Gerard even though she was tired and he was grateful for it.

"So, did you enjoy yourself? You didn't eat that much." she pouted recalling that he was just smiling the whole time, watching everyone eat while taking a few bites.

"You really didn't have to. You sealed the deal with CSG today and I'm sure you have a lot of work on your plate," he spoke with Ayla in his embrace.

"Don't pretend as though you didn't like it. After all, you were smiling non-stop throughout the party." she pointed out and Gerard had no way of refuting that. After all, he was surprised and they all made him so happy.
