Chapter fifty one: from grace to grass to rumble

Chapter fifty one: from grace to grass to rumble.

Alexander brushed Blackie with a brush. His horse of choice would have been the Arabian horse but as a commoner he wasn't supposed to afford such luxurious creature and he wanted to keep the horse far away from Janessa since she almost died because she rode him.

So, he went with Blackie. He was an older horse, he had named himself. Blackie was the first horse he got when he became king a few years ago.

He was a Hanoverian horse that was black with no other spot in sight. It made her name obvious. She was good natured, beautiful and a competitive animal. Alexander liked him well enough even though she lacked the cruelty the Arabian horse had.

Blackie knew she was a beauty and she carried herself as such. Alexander kept brushing Blackie until he heard a sound behind him and turned. It was Crown princess Rosemund, his sister and like him, she was there to check on Beauty, her horse.
