The Palace went into chaos and the news made many furious except for Myrtle who stood by them and protected Annabelle at every turn.
Syrus thought it was one of her new plans on gaining his favor until Myrtle did the unthinkable that made Syrus realize her intentions.

A Messed Up Fairytale

In a grand hall, a woman in black formal clothes and a professional look, stood at an elevated staircase, she was looking down at the dance floor where Anna was trying hard to get her steps right,

"One, Two, Three, One, Two, Three…" Madam Charlotte spoke in a rhythmic tone while Anna tried to match her steps with the tune that was being played. There was no male partner available for her at the moment as everyone in the palace, under the queen's command, was ignoring her as if she didn't exist.

So she had to practice with her maid. The melody started to gain speed and Anna couldn't keep up with it causing her to step on the maid a few thousand times. Because of Anna being the prince's woman the maid didn't dare to say anything but Anna felt apologetic towards her.
