When Ray opened his eyes he was staring at the full moon, or more specifically the system notification that strangely appeared in front of him. 'What is this?'

Before he could even question what was going on he heard a loud voice, "WELCOME EVERYONE TO NUX MILITARY SCHOOL! WE WILL CONDUCT A TEST TO GAGE YOUR LEVEL!" The voice was very loud and when Ray finally stood up he noticed it came from a man with a stubble beard.

'His ability must have to do with changing his voice or something like that' He got closer towards the group of students and accidentally bumped into a student. He had dark long red hair. His eyes showed a bit of arrogance and he wore fancy and expensive clothing.

He turned around swiftly and grabbed Ray by the collar, "Hey who do you think you're bumping into? This shirt alone cost more than your entire wardrobe"These were the kind of people Are hated, "If its so expensive why where it in the first place, let go of me before things get ugly"

Of course Ray was not confident that he could beat this man in a fight, but right now no one knew who had an ability and who did not. They also did not know what type of ability they had, This could be said for the man he really did not know exactly what ability Ray held. Who knew it could be very dangerous.

Feeding into Ray's bluff, he let go of Ray and scoffed, "Don't do it again."Many people had seen this event and did not think anything of it. The man called people by name one at a time. He did not reveal what their abilities were but based on a board which recorded the VR experience most people had a good idea of what his or her abilities did.

Soon the man called on the red-haired man "Mike Cannon '' The man walked towards the vr pod very pridefully. He sat down and put on the VR headset, Soon on the screen they could see him inside a black space. From the ground black shadows came up, they looked human, but they had no clothing or facial features.

Out of nowhere the shadows manifested swords and daggers made of shadow in their hands, they rushed towards the red-haired man who only let out a smirk. He pulled out both of his hands and pointed it towards the shadows. What happened next shocked everyone.

His hands began to ignite and a huge explosion burst everywhere. The shadow beings did not even have enough time to react before they were obliterated.

"Woah what a powerful ability"

"Yes it's very powerful but very dangerous, think about what would happen to his teammates?"

"Wait a minute, I think I have heard that name before… cannon…"

"THAT'S RIGHT! HE MUST BE THE YOUNG MASTER OF THE CANNON FAMILY!"

"I thought I saw that ability before, his father was a level 4 ability holder and won a lot of tournaments."

"No wonder he wore expensive clothing... HAS A NOBLE!"

Meanwhile a bead of sweat formed on the forehead of Ray, Once it was his turn and Jake found out about him having no ability he would surely be dead. At the same time Ray could hear a ding ring in his head. Confused, he looked around to find out where it had come from when he noticed a system like notification in front of him.

Ray had nearly forgotten about this, and just as the notification had quickly appeared it quickly disappeared leaving Ray thinking if he had gone crazy. Everything went normally until Ray's name was called. A special set of eyes were focused on him, and that was from Jake.

With a gulp he went over to the adult that operated the VR capsule and spoke in a small voice that was surprising picked up from one of the students. He had big ears and a set of buck tooth and he surprisingly spoke out loud, "HE DOESN'T HAVE AN ABILITY!" At the sudden news everyone turned towards Ray and laughed.

"He must have some balls saying that bluff."

"O shit I can see his future now, his not gonna survive military school."

"To think he would have such bad luck to offend a royal from the cannon family"

"Ray, what flowers would you like at your funeral?"

Ray walked back to his spot and felt the eyes of Jake on him, 'O shit I really messed up now'
