CHAPTER 5

THE WOLF'S CLAW

Give me the dice , said Parker. All the best , said Leo , giving the dice. Parker got 5,4 , "get out of this darkroom (You'll be out of here when you get double four )."

And the next moment everything started moving like an earthquake , then they came to a dark room , the room wasn't completely dark , the same fire which was lit by them on the bamboo stick was fixed on the walls and about three lanterns were fixed on the wall already. The room was made of red bricks , it looked like the room wasn't built strong , the game was on the ground ahead. Everyone was quietly looking around the room , then all of a sudden Parker's eyes fell on the game.

Look there is the game on the ground , nothing more Violet we just need double 4 , all the best , Parker said.

Violet takes the dice from his hands , hoping nothing happens here , Leo said. Everyone was terrified and hoping for double four. Violet rolled the dice but unfortunately it was six and five.

2411"Play hide and seek here , find me for the next turn."

The game disappears , Oh no ! Now what , said Clara.

Nothing more , we all are the seekers now , and we have to find the game for the next turn , Wan said angrily.

Calm down Wan , that's the game don't be angry , you know that one wrong step by one of us will hurt everyone , said Autumn , yeah I remember , I am not doing anything like that , she replied.

Now , without further wasting time , let's find out where's the game , Brooklyn said.

Do you think we'll find anything here , it is completely empty , where will we find the clue ? said Autumn.

They were all wandering around the room , suddenly on one step a mild light shone from the wolf's claws in Leo's hand. He saw the light still moved on and the light gone , he wondered what's happening , he stepped back again and again the light shone , he stepped forward again and again the light disappear then again he stepped backward , for the next three minutes he stepped backward and forward to check at which point it was lighting , all of his friends were beyond him , he was checking it all alone then after examining he turned left towards the red brick wall and the light was coming out from the cavity of the wall in a row of five horizontally and vertically , the same bricks were shaking a little too.

I guess these bricks should be arranged , this light coming out is so irregular , he said. He said further , but how will I arrange them? Can these bricks spring out? He touched one and it came out easily. Woah , he laughed and peeked out from the little empty place which happened when he took out the brick. But behind it was nothing but a simple wall , but he still tried to arrange them. He took out one brick easily but when he tried to pull the other it didn't come out. He used a lot of force , but other bricks were firmly planted. Now , he was sweating profusely and breathing very fast.

Inadvertently his hand fell on the brick and he fell down exhausted and the brick moved easily to the other side.

He wondered how long I had been trying to get it out , but how easily it got there. He stood back and tried to move other bricks and they were moving easily from one side to the other side but only weren't coming out.

Well , now I understand what it is. I have to solve it like a sliding puzzle , but what will it be ? He said this and immediately the light started to come out from the wall cavity as well as his hands from the wolf's claws in his hand. Will it become a wolf's claw? He began to think in surprise.

He then began to move bricks from place to place , like he was solving a puzzle.

On the other hand his friends were far ahead; they were so busy finding any clue that they didn't realize that one of their partners was left behind.

Look there , there's something written on the bricks , Autumn said to everyone. Yes, let's go there , Wan replied and then they all started walking towards it. ᵗⁱʳᵉ-ᵐᵒⁱ ᵈᵉʰᵒʳˢ , It was written very finely. It says pull me out , that's the only sentence I know in French once a random person teached me in the Halloween party , Clara said in excitement.

Are you sure , Violet asked awkwardly.

Of Course I'm , Clara replied.

Then everyone started taking out bricks. Clara put out the same brick on which French was written.

But she misunderstood. It wasn't written in French. There was a beehive hidden behind it. The hexagonal structure of the beehive was a little bit hidden and a little bit visible , which gave it a structure as something was written , so in the dark she read this. Oh no ! this is a beehive and I accidentally broke it , RUN !!!

Clara said. Also Autumn , Leo , Brooklyn and Violet together pulled out a brick , the room began to shake as the brick pulled , hey what have you all done ? said Wan in fear. They began to resort to each other's shoulders to get upright. Then a brick fell from above.

Can't you guys listen ? Run ! Clara said indignantly. The honey bees are chasing me , I disturb them , and in the same second she realized , the room is shaking. But they have to run away because the bees can sting them to death. The room was already rough , running in the room was making it weaker. They were running very fast , the room was falling from behind , and a whole swarm of bees was chasing them.

DANG !! What is this happening ? I'm gasping , Wan said while running.

Ouch ! Parker sat down in pain , maybe I was stung by a bee. Look , it's red , ahh.. that hurts a lot. Yes I know , but don't stop here. If you stop , the whole swarm will attack and that will be more painful , Wan said to him.

Then he got up and then everyone started running. It was as if an earthquake had struck , there was so much destruction in the room , the bricks were continuously falling down.

Still , they were running away.

On the other hand, the puzzle was about to finish , it was becoming a wolf's claw. He was sliding bricks to make it , then he felt the room was shaking , he was scared , but he still focused on the puzzle. He was trying to finish it. Then he saw his friends running towards him , they were yelling , do something quickly.

Then after moving a brick he fixed the last brick which was in his hand in the empty space. All the friends reached out to him.

As soon as the wolf's claw was completed on the wall , it began to shine , then the light came out of the claw that was made in his hand and went to the claw on the wall.

The two lights collided and the wall burst , and the game was behind the wall.

Wonderful ! Now get it out quickly and move on to the next turn , said Clara.

Please double four , she said anxiously.

Yes please , Autumn said as if she was crying.Violet threw the dice , got double 5.

Oh , man ! 2311 : Flashlight tag , now what is it? Autumn said sobbing.

The evil kid appears in front of them.

I will tell you what it is ! Be patient..

Everyone was terrified and looking at her , they kept looking back and forth , half the room had fallen from behind and the honey bees had likely disappeared , and the evil kid started telling them what a flashlight tag was.

Listen carefully , this room will go completely dark , and lightning will come out of my eyes and revolve around this room and then fall on one of you. The one who will be struck by lightning will die.

What ?? That's horrifying !!! Parker said. Then the room went dark.

Prepared ? There was no sound , except for their beats. Then Violet started Whispering , please listen to me carefully. As soon as you feel that lightning is stopping at you , sit down immediately. Why ? Wan whispered in answer to her. Don't ask any questions right now , just do as I say , Violet said.

Got it ? she asked again. Hmm….everyone said softly.

The light started to revolve , they were all breathing rapidly. After about thirty seconds the light stopped at Wan , she immediately sat down and suddenly the swarm of bees came from behind. They were having glass , but not too big. Half the bees died from the light , and a little light reflected through the mirror to the evil kid's head , she screeched and disappeared.

The dice were now on the board again , Wan hurry up ! it's your turn , Violet said , but tell me how I survived , Wan asked. I will ! but throw dice first , I'll tell you all after we get out of here , Otherwise , these flies will kill us. Wan was a little confused. What are you thinking ? be quick ! Violet shrieked.

Hearing her shrieking , she hurriedly threw dice. And double four came. After many seconds they were still in the dark room.

Why haven't we gone out here yet ? We already got double 4 , the room was falling apart , c'mon , the dice didn't disappear too , Parker said. Wait , I remember , there will be another turn on the double four and she threw dice , and got 3 , 2.
