Being Pursued, The Hunter and His Prey

"Chase him! This person can't run far!"

A group of people chased after him. They fired their guns without hesitation, but it was impossible to hit him at such a far distance.

This place was already considered the center of the Yangcheng Mountain Range, and there were more evolutionary beasts hiding in the surroundings. The sudden gunshot agitated countless evolutionary beasts. 

After all, these evolutionary beasts had once been surrounded before. However, the people retreated since the evolutionary beasts were way too ferocious and powerful. After hearing gunshots, these evolutionary beasts gave up on their opponents and stared in the direction of the gunshots with hatred.

Viper looked around and said solemnly, "Everyone, stop firing. Can't you tell that the roars of the beasts are getting closer? Gunshots are a signal for them to attack!"

His companion immediately said disdainfully, "What's the big deal? We have a martial master to back us up. No matter how many evolutionary beasts come at us, they'll just be delivering themselves as appetizers for us. Viper, why are you so timid? Why don't you go home and drink some milk?"

A centipede that was half a meter long suddenly jumped out from the ground. It raised its head fiercely and tried to attack him.

Qi Shu did not slow down at all. He did a beautiful somersault and jumped over its head. After running a few steps, the path ahead was blocked by a huge broken tree. With one hand for support, he strode lightly over the broken tree.

The wind whistled past his ears as he passed through obstacles one after another like he was in his own home.

Qi Shu moved smoothly. He was completely unaffected by the attacks of the poisonous bugs. However, the bugs caused great trouble to the pursuers behind him. They even caused them pain.

Qi Shu turned around to glance at them. The men from the Deity Organization were getting further and further away from him. He specifically chose places with complicated terrains and an abundance of poisonous bugs and rats so that they would suffer quite a bit.

After checking his surroundings, he realized that the terrain suited him well. There were paths for him to attack and escape, and most importantly, he was familiar with this place. This was his home ground. It was a slaughterhouse. 

Qi Shu's eyes gradually turned cold whereas his aura, heartbeat, and everything else gradually weakened. It was as if he had become one with the tree. He stayed there and waited quietly!
