Chapter 47: The field trip
"Guys, you know, if you guys just turn around and leave us alone, then no has to get hurt"
"HAHAHAHA" the thugs laughs "You guys heard what the kid just say? HAHHAAHA"
"I can't believe all those other guys couldn't kidnap these kids, did they all died of laughter hahaha"
-Well I gave them a chance-
-You did, well let's get killing now, make sure it's clean please, we don't want to traumatize other students- Diana said

-Try what?- Dabria asked
I then mixed light and fire magic to shoot lasers out of my eyes and shot one through the head. They were staring at the dead guy, but by the time they reacted, I gunned them all down
-Being a kid is awesome, they always let their guard down-
I then do it several more times as Ace shot out wind blades and fireballs, Siege charged in and killed them too, Diana got to us but we already killed all of them.
-The teachers already handled the ones in he back, let's go back in the carriage- Diana said as she landed on my shoulder, she then used wind magic to push the corpses to the side as they were in the middle of the road
I then walked back to the carriage to see Professor Emma stand there
"That was quick, you really do have a lot of experience in this" She said "Wilson told me you shot beams out of your eyes, is that an original spell of yours?"
-I stole it, but since it doesn't exist in this world, I'm going to take credit-
-You always do- Dabria replied
"Kind of, yeah" I said as I got on the carriage
"Amazing, is that the spell, you plan on submitting in the spell making exam?" She asked
"No, not really"
"I should also go watch it then, I get the morning off anyway" She said as she got on
"You guys back already?" Lucas asked, his hair color changed to pink
"Yep, told you, I'm experienced in this" I then sat down
"Can't believe you kill those people so easily, don't you feel any guilt?" Eleanor asked
"Killing is not scary, getting used to it is"

"Wise words, we live in a world where we sometimes have to kill to guarantee our own safety, it'll sounds scary at first, but it's really scary when you realize that you no longer feel anything after you kill someone" Professor Emma nodded
"I see" Eleanor replied quietly
We then got to our site at about 2:30 pm, and we then trudged through the forest to a big open field
"As you all know, you all have to hunt for food, but when you do, please do not destroy the surroundings, you will be severely punished if you do, if anyone need a tent, ask the professors, they will provide you one" Professor Emma announced
I of course already packed my own tent, big enough to fit 3 people which is enough to fit me and my bonds, I then build it out nearby a tree with good shade.
"As you all know, this forest is packed with magic beast, some beast prefer it if you beat them with brute strength, others appreciate compassion, please ask us if you got any questions"
-Seems like we're done, unlike others who are planning to find a bond, we're just here to get a free time off, too bad Damon can't join us-
-Well shall we go to hunt for our food? We don't need the professor's permission for that- Ace suggested
-We have to wait for the princess and Lucas, they want to come with us remember-
-Right, we have to teach them how to hunt- Ace nodded
-Did you bring your bow?- Siege asked
-I am always prepared-
"You don't mind us putting our tent next to yours, do you?" Eleanor asked
"Go ahead, just know, I won't help you guys build your tent"
"Fair enough" Lucas replied
It took them an hour to figure out how to build their tent.
"It's harder than it looks" Lucas panted
"Well, lucky that we're allowed tents, you guys would be hopeless if we had to build a shelter out of sticks and mud"
"Thank god for that" Eleanor replied
"Well let's go hunting, you guys brought any hunting equipments with you?"
"I brought ropes and my sword" Lucas answered as he took them out of his ring
"I got a sword too" Eleanor said
"That'll do, I hope you don't mind if I using your rope for a trap later"
"Of course, just don't go too fast alright, I get tired very easily" he replied
"Yeah, you also gotta teach us, make sure you don't forget that and run off on your own" Eleanor added
We then headed into the forest, we saw a regular boar out in the open, I then nocked my bow with a light arrow and shot it in the head, it fell on the spot.
"That was clean" Lucas replied "So now what do we do, all we did today was sneak around and acting all quiet"
"Well it's to not alert our prey of our presence" I reminded "And now is the part where we skin it, cut out all the edible parts and bury the rest, but since we only need the edible parts, we'll only take that with us, any of you here wanna try?"
"I'm good" Eleanor replied
"You make it sound so easy, man lucky that I'm teaming up with you, other nobles are probably going to puke right about now" Lucas said
"Well then I'll do it, Ace, Lucas, you go and pick up edible berries and Siege, you accompany Eleanor to pick up some wild edible plants, I'll head to one of you after this"
They then heeded my command
-Are you sure, you don't need me for anything?- Diana asked
-Just accompany me here, in case trouble shows up-
After I stock all the edible meats, and burying it using earth magic.
Then I heard running from a far distance, it's not from my teammates direction, a wild magic beast
-You jinxed it- Dabria commented
It was a huge black magic boar with 4 red eye at about 2m tall.
-Man, here I thought corrupted are rare, but my luck as the protagonists is as high as ever, how much do you think its head will sell for?-
-It'll turn back to its original size after we kill it, so I reckon it will be the same- Diana answered
-You've probably kill that boar's child and it's coming for revenge as a corrupted- Dabria replied
-Do you need our help?- Siege asked
-We got this-
The boar then charged at us, I shot a light arrow at it and the arrow had no effect
Diana then used a flurries of wind and shot at the boar to stop it at its tracks, I warped to the air, and slashed its head off as I fall to the ground. The head fell off and shrink back to its original size, similar thing happened to its body.
-Even though they are rare, this one is way weaker than the first one we've met-
-Well let's hope they all are and not give us too much trouble- Diana flew to then perched on my shoulder.
