Chapter 228: Demons and Gods (2)
The demon lord then appeared from the summoning ritual. It is a giant demon, with pitch black wings, a black crown on his head and 3 pairs of wings on his back. He has red slits for eyes and mouth.
"I'm free!!!" The demon lord shouted "What delicious offerings! I shall now destroy everything!"
"Well Perseus good luck" Zach said before leading the other team to fight the demon lord
I then activated my armor's ability as our team face of the 4. Maren glared me down.
"We'll be fighting alone" Meran said as he warped us both far from the scene.
-This wasn't in the plan, I'm supposed to fight Colden-
He then activated spatial disruption around the area to prevent me from getting any help.
Meran took the hit as a test and it seems like it hurt as he slightly winced and bit his lip. The spot I shot him at is only slightly bleeding.
"That's surprising, you fight lightning with lightning, give it a few more years and you might have actually killed me" he said before healing himself
"Enbima Yonezu Oni Giri" a voice shouted as a green haired man with 3 katanas jumped in and slashed Meran. Making Meran bleed a bit.
"Zoro, I appreciate the help, but Wano is that way, you're in the wrong universe"

"Oh shit, I got the wrong guy" he cursed before running off in the opposite direction of the gate

-Well I learn to not be surprised anymore- Dabria sighs -Be careful about him, he's slightly below my level despite being older-
I then activated 'presence' to overwhelm Maren. He was scared and backed away. But unlike the others, despite being in his mortal form, he doesn't fall under the heavy pressure . He shook a bit though.
"Void of eternal dreams" I casted, I know that he won't fall asleep, but it should at least tire him out a bit and slow down his movements slightly
I surround my body with aura then charge in with my sword and swung it. He dodged it and nail me right in the gut. I jumped back and tried to kick him in the head but he got a good grip as he caught it within his hand.
I spun and and twisted my leg and let the other leg get a good kick to his head. He was surprised but he then summoned a lightning bolt and struck me. I want to use the void of eternal nightmare, but I don't think I can defeat him with that. Even if I can, I'll be too tired to join the others afterwards.
I then focused my regenerative powers on the injured part of my body and healed it back to normal.
"Fool's world" I casted with 'absurdity' so that he can no longer use magic. I hoped to overpower him with aura and physical attacks.
And as I hoped, he can no longer magic. I then use the SS-rank coil of strings I had specially made and approached him. Despite having no magic, his physical prowess is even better than Erix. I tried my best to dodge his attacks and get the string to wrap it around him.
I use aura to manipulate the strings. But it could barely cut into his flesh. He broke out and charged at me. I manipulated the strings into a large shield, he broke through that and used his other fist to aim for my head. I dodge it cleanly to the side, slid under him and tied strings around one of his feet dragging him and making him fall face first into the ground.
"You stupid mortals!" He shouted
"Well you're a mortal now too since that's the only way you can be here right now. I know you gods heavily rely on your magic, so when it comes to fighting techniques, people with training like me will win. Come on Meran, let's dance. "
3rd person view
The demon lord is entertained at the idea that the pipsqueaks who summoned him are now trying to kill him. But that didn't last long as their attacks hurt him. But what amuses him more was Diana.
"Ah why are you attacking your fellow kin?" the demon lord asked "And why are you also a lesser demon? A stupid corrupted, I could've activate your powers for you making you a full demon"
"What?!" Zach exclaimed < Just who the hell did Grace bond with? I want to be the protagonist too >
A beam of light then falls from the sky and hit the demon as he screamed in pain.
"Encore!" Zach shouted as the 2 attack he just did was then casted again. The demon is badly hurt despite using magic to help block the attack.
Kelly Leven's 'encore', the ability to instantly repeat any attack she dishes out with a limit of 2 moves after she shouts 'encore'. It can also used to repeat allies attack.
"Encore!" Zach casted again as the attack repeated before the demon lord can recover
Alice took out a sniper rifle and charged it with a lot of mana, she then pulled the trigger as a black beam shoots itself through the demon lord's heart leaving a giant hole.
" Spatial collapse " Draven casted as the demon lord's body regenerated and recover from the injury, erasing all the lower half of his body and carving straight on to the surroundings leaving nothing behind.
The attack would've wiped the demon lord out, but the demon lord recover quickly to defend himself and quickly heal himself.
< Spirit magic: Ra's might > Urie casted as a giant ball of flames appeared in the sky and burned everything in its path.
The demon lord is then really angry as he gathered all the mana in his surroundings into a ball and shooting it toward Zach.
"Dark magic + Spatial magic: Supermassive blackhole" Zach casted as the whole spell the demon lord shot got sucked into nothingness

< Light magic: God's divine punishment > Gia casted as a giant beam of light shot down from the sky and hit the demon lord
"Luckily, we were warned to stay far away beforehand" Jake laughed after he saw the barrages of attacks "Those attacks would have blown us all away."
-Now that's why they call him 'the father of magic'- Damon commented as he sneak a peak at Zach before turning back and flying toward Colden

1st person view
"Your fool's world has run out, it seems that I will now have the upper hand again" Meran laughed
"Fuck, I was hoping that your lack of experience in close combat would help me win faster, but gods really are something different"
"I can see why Colden despises you and why you stopped him last time" his body is then clad with lightning "Indeed us gods rely too much on magic, but I'm not Colden, I'll win"
He then shoot barrages of lightning at me. I used my ring to absorb the attack but my ring isn't fast enough to absorb it all as some of his magic hit me and knock me far back, breaking a few trees, leaving me on a smoking crater.
"Damn, it's been long since I got hurt despite wearing this armor and fighting with my full power" I then spit out several teeth while my regeneration healed my body
3rd person view
"Old man, I can't imagine how strong you were when you're in your prime" Terra commented "Magic wise, you're only a bit above average, but your swordsmanship is something else"
Jake himself is having fun slashing down all the demon lord's summons with his blade one after the other. With his complete mastery over mana, those summons didn't even stand a chance as they get cut down before they could even get a hit in
Terra is summoned golems to fight for her while using other earth magic spells to squash her opponent or summoning rocky spikes of the ground and piercing the summons body.
Bora is fighting seriously as a wind spirit, his skin is now dark grey like a stormy clouding, with each of his bolt blasting everything in sight to smithereens.
"I hope that our boss is alright" Bora said "That guy who warp him away is probably a lightning god, as strong as he is, a god even minor ones would be too much"
"Focus on what's in front of you sir Bora" Jake responded as is aura twirl into a snake around a summons arm and pierced its head "This is so much fun"
"You and the boss are both messed up in the head" Bora replied
"And we're also the ones serving him, so get a move on!" Terra shouted as she summoned a giant golem causing a small earthquake
