Chapter 320: Fighting Eros
"Void of eternal nightmare" I casted and use 'presence' to overpower him but he seem to only be fazed by a tiny bit. I would stop time, but I can't stop time within a time stop.
Besides...even if I can, the author will make sure it doesn't happen since it'll be too complicated for him to write.

I then felt the void casted all over and Eros' eyes drooped for a short bit, but it doesn't look like he'll fall asleep anytime soon.
< Star magic: Super nova > I casted as I now need no chants to cast a large spell and the explosion blinded everything. but it did no damage as I see several dozens winged knights armed with different weapons charge towards me and I can sense a large field has been casted and these knights are being summoned from them.
< I sense no fear on that guy, everyone has a fear, why doesn't he have one? Shit!>
I flew upwards to dodge all the knights and they swiftly chased me down.
My void of eternal nightmare will be less effective now as I then changed the scene to give me the advantage. The void turn into a cold blizzard as the knights' wings all disappeared from their body. They then all frozen solid and fall onto the ground breaking into pieces.
I then see Eros aimed his bow at me, I tried to use the void to make the bow, disappear, but it didn't work. He shot the arrow at me, I disappeared and appeared right behind him throwing a punch, but somehow he was prepared as he punched me in the face knocking me backwards faster than I could react.
I changed the scene to an underwater fight since I can actually breathe underwater and hope that it'll slow him down a little, but he was also prepared as he took another shot at me, and the arrow hit me faster then I can manipulate the void to help me.
The arrow despite being small, shot through me and leave a hole in my gut. I use the void, my regeneration is slower than before too, as if...the more I get hit by his bow, the slower I heal.
I manipulate the void to fasten by regeneration and heal the hole in my stomach. His fucking arrow can easily pierce through my jacket that is made of plotinum like it's just a regular armor, and how the fuck does his arrows slow down regeneration?
His bow isn't supposed to have that kind of power, but he's a god that's super old anyway, there are probably things that aren't mentioned in myths, especially after all this time, he will have many things prepared.
I tried to use the void to manipulate his godly powers or deactivate it, but it's not working, this hasn't happened before, he knows that my ring can absorb all magic and with Hecate's powers, magic would be really ineffective against me, so he's using only his bow.
He doesn't have a quiver of arrows, his arrows just materialize in his hand and he nock the arrows and shoot them. The arrows are so quick that I can dodge only 2 of every 3 as he rapid fire.
Every time I get close, he would have already anticipated my movements and turn his bow into a sword and cut me down. The angels are still a problem underwater, I manipulate the void and change our surroundings many times, but they are still being summoned out and the void can't stop the field of spell Eros casted.
If I focus too much on the knights, I would get hit by the arrows of Eros, if I try to focus on Eros' arrows, the knights would slash me down with their swords or even stabbed by their spears.
Even with plot armor, the angels can hurt me, despite being just summons, and after all my power ups, Eros can kill me easily, he isn't shooting the arrows with his max speed, Eros is toying with me.
My healing is slowed down dramatically, my injuries worsen by the second. I manipulate the void to shoot every kind of spell, but the angels would tank the hit for he continue his onslaught of arrows.
I continue to escape the attacks as I feel 'Ferocity' activating. I warp to him again, he swing his sword, but I continuously warp around him and hitting him from every angle.
"Haha Eros, I will kill you today to save me trouble"
"There's that alter ego" he smiled as we then engaged in melee combat
"Come on! Is that all ya got?!" I shouted as I hit him in the gut, he threw his head forward and so I kneed him in the face.
I then jumped, spun and kicked him in the back of his head as his head then got smashed into the ground.
The 2 spells then exploded, but I use my void to contain my spell to the close surrounding to not hurt anyone, but it did destroy the angels and the forest in the process.
My spell created a huge crater, with Eros' body at the bottom of it. he got up, with only a slightly bruised face, slightly burnt suit, and small hint of blood flowing from his nose and mouth. i rushed towards him to engage him once more.
"Good thing that you firmed that cuz I'll kill ya with my own fist" I laughed as I threw a punch clad with dense aura.
He just caught it and crushed my bones while laughing.
"I let my guard down a bit, you did a great number on me, I'm impressed." His laugh now sounded more ominous "But that's enough fooling around. If you want close combat, then you chose the wrong opponent, I am the son of Ares, a god of war and strength"
With my other hand, I got out my sword to stab him, clad it with aura and tried to stab him, but he saw that. He swiftly grabbed it and destroyed it in 2. He then used the point of the sword to clad it with his aura and stabbed me in the gut.
He then threw his fist at me, and I started to black out as Eros delivered the worst beatings I've ever suffered. My bones broke every second and the amount of blood I lost should've killed me, but it was only due to Diana's regeneration ability that is passed to me backed by my void manipulation keeping me alive. Barely.
It was defeat, utter defeat.
