Chapter 507: A fight with Chaos once again
I warped to the middle of their army in Valhalla as a giant dome got created around me and erased everyone around me, it won't even send them to the void where they will wither away, they will just go away forever.
Chaos won't even dare step near me and I can't keep it up for long either. So I flew at Chaos with my wings and went full speed, erasing everything and everyone that got caught in my way.
Chaos then use its magic to cancel out my power and close in on me, our fist then intercepted, my punch was so strong that Chaos' arm shook and vibrated to crack and break from such a force.
But it seems like Chaos also got some strength after replacing its blood. My knuckles also broke in the process. It wasn't counter magic either where damage gets reflected back either, because I can just erase the magic by coating my hand with erosion.
"How was it, Perseus?" Chaos laughed as it instantly healed itself.
"You got the blood of a gorilla or something, whew that actually hurt even with the curse of Styx."
"I came here to fight for one final time, Perseus Silver, I will not even run away, because you're growth has already match mine or even grew faster than mine, the longer I run away, the more helpless I get."
Of course, the more confrontation I get in, the stronger I get, by meeting and losing to Baeli, despite barely any resistance, I grew since then, I seem to take the phrase 'what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger' a bit too literal, I died and woke up stronger.
-Oh no, not now.- Diana said out of nowhere
-What happened?!- I want to go help her right now, but I can't take my eyes off of Chaos.
-My core, it's becoming black, I'm going to need a while for my mana to stabilize.-
-I'll take care of you, you take care of Chaos and focus on only that.- Siege chimed in -Diana, I'm heading over to your direction. Shit, my core is turning black too.-
-I'm the last one?!- Ace exclaimed
-I'll take care of them.- Damon chimed in.
I then had to focus as Chaos shoot out a blast of flames. Gods who were on Chaos' side started to surround me where I then activate 'conqueror' and all its trait. Many fell to their knees and spit out a lot of blood.
"Stay down!" I ordered "Attack Chaos."
"This is why I told them to stay away!" Chaos shouted "Useless dogs!"
Chaos' own allies then flew to fight Chaos, the ones who Chaos created and taught them about nothing but the way of combat. They surround Chaos and gave it a hard time.
Chaos blew all its allies apart and warped away to where Eislyn was waiting, a blade came down on Chaos' head and it barely managed to dodge in time. I gave Eislyn Hermes' shoes to help her speed to get faster. At least Eislyn managed to cut a bit of her gut open and blood burst from it.
Chaos dodged that getting only its left arm and leg sliced off, but the sky and every that got caught in the earlier attack got cut into 2.
Chaos focused all its magic to heal itself and attack Eislyn. Eislyn used her older form to keep Chaos at bay, and I charged in to help her, I got close and threw a lot of hits at Chaos.
Haymakers after haymakers of my gauntlets were effective as Chaos' started bleeding profusely, I can't erase Chaos since Chaos can easily cancel that power as it is one of the creator gods.
Eislyn was doing her best to fight Chaos, but it seems like Chaos was prepared this time and surround the vessel with aura that as even stronger than hers, making it so that her slashes were ineffective, but fortunate it those attacks were very effective at annoying our enemy.
Eislyn was relentless in her attacks, even casting the void to our advantage where Chaos cancels that too.
The sky then gathered into a swirl and blasted down a giant black beam at where we're at. Eislyn is a part of my powers, so she won't be affected by the attack. There was then a giant whole on the round that goes several meters deep.
Valhalla is a mostly flat and endless world where there isn't a known end, so it isn't a planet in an alternate dimension, but a dimension by itself entirely.
Despite that strong attack, Chaos still survives. The vessel was injured, but Chaos used magic that is effective enough to protect itself.
"You're good, Perseus, you truly are the prophesized hero, and I don't need the fates to tell me that." Chaos laughed
"Have you gone mad after losing?"
"All my plans to create a perfect world, thousands of years, planning for the perfect moment, only to lose to a stupid mere mortal who was born as one of the weakest races, a fucking human."
"Humans were almost the most unpredictable race, we can accomplish more feats in a couple years than gods in a few centuries, because us stupid weak mortals have a time limit that can end at any moment, and that means even for a part human like me, I can grow fast."
"A fucking reincarnate, after you, reincarnates will have their powers limited even more since mortals unlike the gods, they got the potential to grow, gods were born with power, so to grow even further will take too long which is why most don't bother to train."
"Tell me what I don't know Chaos, I will kill you by the end of today."
