New life and identity

"His highness the crown prince, Franklin Reed Alnwid, and his fiancée, Lady Everyn Marie De Evergreen!"

The people hushed and stared at the entrance door. Two people with blonde hair, one was bright while the other was a little bit dim. The prince lifted his elbow and smiled sincerely towards his partner.

Marquise De Evergreen smiled as he watched his younger daughter walking down the stairs with the crown prince. The crowd was busy complimenting the couple as they passed by, but some had doubts inside of them of what truly happened the month before.

The King and Queen both smiled, but everyone could see that they disliked the newly appointed fiancé. They wondered what truly happened with the previous fiancé. Some were thinking that she was thrown somewhere far away. Some had thoughts that maybe she was secretly killed to give the position back to the younger daughter of the Marquise. At the same time, some thought that she committed suicide because of what happened at the debut of Lady Everyn.

The ball could not start until all the delegations and guests from the different kingdoms were present. The King decided to have the engagement and the farewell party together. Thus, the farewell banquet was extended for a month.

"His Royal Highness, the crown prince of Ausira Drakonis Imperium, Albrecht Treyton Audovera. His highness, the crown prince of the Kingdom of Creamore, Cecil Ernest Adalbert II. Her royal highness of Ausira Drakonis Imperium, Avianna Brea Audovera. Her highness of the Kingdom of Creamore, Gianna Cora Adalbert II!"

The crowd excitedly glanced as four figures slowly walked down the stairs. Coming from powerful and robust Kingdoms, these two princes and princesses were bound to be in the spotlight more than the newly engaged couple.

Franklin ground his teeth in silence as the noblewomen, including his fiancé, were busy gushing towards the two famous princes. Not until his eyes landed towards the two princesses behind the princes. His eyes were shamelessly checking out their body.

The two princes sent him a deadly gaze, causing Frankling to shudder in fear. He felt like he was going to be eaten. He retracted his gaze and forced Everyn to follow him to greet the King and Queen. But before he could, a new announcement was announced throughout the room.

"His grace, the Duke of Kaleighden from Ausira Drakonis Imperium, Jeremiah Kaleighden. Her grace, the Duchess of Kaleighden, Lilly-Gracen Kaleighden. The heir of Duke Kaleighden, Lord Richard Lark Kaleighden. The second son of Duke Kaleighden, Lord Marcellus Edward Kaleighden. The third son of Duke Kaleighden, Lord Atlas Aziel Kaleighden. The youngest daughter of Duke Kaleighden, Lady Eleanora Clementine Kaleighden!"

"Does Duke Kaleighden have a daughter, brother?"

Avianna, with light blonde hair and blue eyes, looked at Albrecht. Cecil and Gianna, who both have caramel brown hair but with different eyes, also looked at their friend in question. Albrecht never wavered his gaze away from the entrance door. His red eyes were in slits as Duke Kaleighden entered with his wife.

"He mentioned that he and his wife, including their sons, were still looking for their lost daughter. I guess he now finally found her in this small kingdom."

"That's great! I'm worried that Duchess Lilly will die of heartbreak without seeing their daughter. I guess the gods are still looking out for them and finally decided to reunite the family together."

"I agree. If I were the Duchess, I don't think I would be able to live longer without seeing my daughter."

"Who do you think is the long-lost daughter, Al?"

Albrecht understood the hidden meaning of Cecil as he looked at the Kaleighden family with his blue-grey eyes.

"He's not the type of person to be easily tricked. He's the only royal magician with the blessing of the Dragon god, while the Duchess has the gifts from the goddess Hera. Tricking them both is nearly impossible."

The four fell in silence before the crowd murmured to each in shock. Albrecht looked up and saw a lady with red hair between Marcellus and Atlas. Reaching the bottom of the stairs, the lady walked with Richard while Marcellus and Atlas followed.

"Hey, Isn't that Lady Alice? Marquise De Evergreen's illegitimate daughter?"

"Wasn't she missing for the past month?"

"Don't you think she resembles the Duke and Duchess?"

"Do you think she was the long-lost daughter of the Duke and Duchess?"

"I would think so. There's a clear similarity between the three. Even the siblings kinda look like the young lady."

The crowd murmured to each other as they walked calmly and full of authority towards the King and Queen.

"His Majesty, the King. Her Majesty, the Queen."

"Duke Kaleighden, I am glad that you have found your lost daughter."

"Thank you for your sincerity, your Majesty. Eleanor, come and pay respect to His Majesty."

"Your Majesty, the King. Your Majesty, the Queen."

Eleanora bowed and stood between her parents and siblings. Her small face and beautiful appearance attracted the crowd. They all drew their breaths as they watched in amazement.

Lady Eleanora, who was Alice, was standing upright in a beautiful silver dress—woven with red, yellow, and green threads. Her dress sparkled in many different colours. Her red hair was styled in an elegant yet youthful bun with a few curled stray strands on her forehead and beside her ears. Tiny flowers and accessories adorned her sparkling and healthy hair.

Her thin arms had now gained some fats and what could be seen as muscles. Her slender neck showcased the feminity and beauty of a woman. Her shallow cheeks had gained a bit of fat, making her look like a healthy young noblewoman. Her milky and smooth white skin with a tint of pink sparkled under the chandelier.

Overall, the nobles had seen her as the daughter of a goddess. Her beauty outshined Everyn, who was known to be a flower in the field. She was then put in the category of the most beautiful woman in the world, Princess Avianna from Ausira Drakonis Imperium and Princess Gianna from the Kingdom of Creamore.
