21 A weird thought

The more I thought about it, the more I think its true since only the military can get explosives that can blow up such a big boulder.

I didn't think that he was a terrorist or the leader of a gang since no criminal would be stupid enough to try an explosive this powerful in a villa community.

No matter how strong and influential they are, they can't go against an entire villa community, so the only plausible reason is that he's part of the military.

But I'm not entirely sure about this since why would the military test it here and not in their base?

I stopped thinking about this and went inside the house, I feel bored waiting because I want to see what kind of person he is and I also want to express my gratitude to him for saving me.

So I looked around for a broom, some searching later, I found one in a room, so I took it and started cleaning.

As time passes I got more and more into cleaning, since this house was so big, it took me hours to clean half of it but I wasn't complaining since I enjoyed cleaning.

After hours of cleaning I was finally at the 4 floor, by then I was really into the mood, while cleaning I heard a voice behind me.

"What are you doing?" A male voice asked.

"Ahhhh!!" I screamed in surprise, turning around I saw the most handsome man I've met in my whole life. He had red hair with golden eyes, for his body he had muscles that couldn't be hidden under his clothes.

I was shocked not because he was so handsome but because he was able to get behind me without me noticing him.

"How did he get behind me? Even though I was distracted, I should still be able to sense him and judging by the aura he emitted he's not part of the military."

I concluded that he wasn't part of the military because soldiers carry a overwhelming aura that makes you want to listen to them and not try to go against them.

Even if he was part of the military he should only be a soldier due to his young look.

"Who are you?" I cautiously asked.

"I'm the owner of this house." Hearing his reply, I was shocked because I wasn't expecting the one who saved me to be so young, I was expecting him to be a middle aged man because such a young man couldn't possibly get his hands on such a huge explosive and use it in his backyard without alerting the police.

But I hid my shock and said "Oh."

"Were you the one who brought me here?" I asked.

"Yes."

"Why?"

"Its a personal reason, but back to the topic. What were you doing?"

"Oh well when I woke up I found myself in your couch, I searched for someone but I didn't, then I noticed that your house was a little dirty so I cleaned it to show you my thanks."

"I'm sorry but I don't have anything else to repay you." I felt ashamed that I couldn't repay him so made up my mind that when I get the chance, I'll pay him back.

"Nah its ok, you can le—" He was talking but he suddenly stopped and asked me.

"Do you have a place to stay?"

I looked at him and shook my head "No I don't have one."

"Perfect, well then how about you be my maid? You can also stay here"

"Eh? Really?!"

"Of course." He replied back to me with a smile.

I was happy that I'll be able to do the thing I liked but I realized that he must have something in mind since if he really wanted a maid then he could've hired one long ago. "Wait, why are you doing this?"

"Why? Because I needed a maid. You've seen the house, you should know that one person can't clean all this." I was bewildered by his simple reasoning, and by his tone and the look on his face he doesn't seem to be lying

But what he said was true. I put my hand to my chin and thought about his offer, I thought of the prons and cons but what really helped me decide is the thought that I can use this to repay him.

"Okay I agree, where do I sleep?"

"Hm? Your not gonna ask for a salary? Or a contract?"

"No, you saved me without knowing anything about me and even left me alone in your house, that's enough for me to trust you."

"What made you trust me so fast?"

"If you had bad intentions towards me then you would have done something to me while I was asleep."

And I was really touched by the fact that he left me alone in his house without any security.

Following that he asked me what would I like between a girls normal clothes and uniforms, I got weirded out by this because who have both a woman's and maids clothes?

He defended himself by saying that it was given to him by his aunt, I was still suspicious of this but since I didn't know anything about his family, I just put it in the back of my mind and chose the maid dress.

He said to me to wait here and went back to his room, few minutes later he came out with a maid dress that weirdly fits me perfectly.

He gave it to me and said to me take a bath and try it on.

I did as I was told and took a bath then put it on, I came out of the bathroom and when he saw me he opened his eyes wide and stared at me.

Normally I would be disturbed being stared at for so long but his eyes conveyed appreciation towards me and not lust.

I got flustered by this since this is the first time that someone has ever looked at me this way, even my own mother didn't gave this look at me but I hid it and asked him how I look.

He said that I looked good and after he said that a warm feeling flowed out of my heart, I tried to find any hints of lies. but I didn't find any.

This further enhanced the warm feeling and another weird feeling appeared but I didn't know what it was.

Skipping the least important stuff, he said that he has 2 rules which are to knock on his door before coming in and ask him any questions if I have some.

I asked him about his backyard, at first he seemed confused and asked what about his backyard, it was only then that he realized when I answered him and I saw him visibly froze.

My suspicions were raised again but he said that it was because of a firework that a relative dropped when it was lighted.

I, of course wasn't stupid enough to believe him but I also knew that he wasn't a bad person because while I was cleaning the house I didn't find any traces of illegal activities.

So I decided to leave it at that, the he asked me for my name, I didn't want to have any connections with my previous family so I said that my name was Hikari as for my last name I asked him if I could not say it since I don't know what to say.

He said that it was okay and introduced himself as Claude Kentaro, he said that he will be going out and he will also buy me a phone.

I tried to protest but he already left and I was alone again, the weird feeling in me gets getting bigger and bigger by the minute, but I just ignored it and continued on my work.

When I entered the last bathroom I haven't cleaned yet I saw his clothes which were in the laundry, suddenly the weird feeling in me exploded and multiplied, a thought appeared in my mind "I wonder what he smells like."

I got scared when I thought of this and quickly thought of other things to distract my mind and started cleaning, but the thought just kept stronger and stronger until I couldn't take it anymore and said.

"Just once."
