"Chapter 22- Disasterous cafeteria"

"Miss Abigail," Klein called her secretary, "yes, sir?" Abigail responds, "how do you feel about homosexuality?" Klein asked Abigail curiously, "why to bring that all of a sudden?" she asked Klein while munching a sandwich, "I'm just curious If you have a bad feeling about homosexual people," Klein said, 'I need to know if you're homophobic before I get to close with you Abi,' he thought while they walk around the company, "well, I don't clearly have a bad feeling about it since I have a wife," Abigail answered without any hesitation, "I see, that's nice, I hope all people doesn't have negative feelings towards people who likes the same gender,"

"Yeah, I hope so, let's go get lunch, sir," she changed the topic, "where?" he asked trying to catch up to Abigail, "In the cafeteria of course," she pointed the way to the cafeteria, "however, it's a bit unusual for a CEO to eat there," Abigail added, "I see, what lunches do they often serve?" Klein asked while glancing around the company's interior, "they often serve... uh... 'unhealthy dishes'" Abigail shrieked, "what do you mean by that?" Klein asked tilting his head, "full of meats and fried- caffeine and artificially flavored juice drinks," she said while describing with her hands, "it has a lot..... I mean a lot... of calories, look at me right now- I was once slim but look at me! I look like an elephant!" Abigail exclaims,

"you look great though, but the cafeteria food is really a problem," Klein crossed his arms, "yeah... I know... Madame feeds them a lot of calories- you should really change the culinary chefs here-" Abigail whispered, "A lot of people quitted because of the food services, it's too unhealthy!" she said,

as they were in front of the cafeteria, they were shocked as they saw,

"what- what in the world- this is not a fast-food chain-" Klein muttered as if he was about to pass out, "see! that's what I told you, they are really not enjoying the food here in the cafeteria, they mostly eat out or bring their own lunch,"

"There are fewer people in here, but we have like hundreds of employees," Klein was out of words, "I'll try to solve this situation, how much is our company budget?" Klein asked Abigail, "we have more than a million, sir," Abigail said, "how much expenses do they buy ingredients?" Klein added a question, "more than a hundred thousand," Abigail hid with the folder she's holding.

"what meat do they use and what brands of juices they often serve?"

"it's xxx, and they often serve a lot of fried side dishes, it could be seafood also,"

"what in the world- who- who-" Klein ran out of words, "T-the former CEO- I mean the Madame always told us to 'eat more because eating more = more energy' that's what she always told the cooks, so most of our company's money will go to the cooks because of they're hard work on pre-preparing it," she shrieked,

"I see... This is a huge problem if we continue this... it would be bad for the company same with the employees,"

"That's what I said to Madame once but I got yelled at," Abigail said,

"Fresh Vegetables and Fruits are expensive than crops that are being processed," the cook said, "but, the health of the employees are more important, I will give my share when buying the ingredients," Klein insisted, "But-", Abigail shushed the cook immediately, "do not keep being greedy, you cook always get so much pay, think about it, the fact that Madame pays you all too well that you started to forget that essence of health!" Abigail furiously exclaimed, "I get what you mean, but don't you think most of the employees are herbivores?" the cook asked a question,

"according to Abigail's data and research among the employees, 40% of them are vegetarian, 10% vegan and most of them eat both," Klein stated, "I only said to add more vegetables to their intake and less artificial flavoring intake, along with greasy foods and fatty foods, I don't have the right to control their diet but it's for the sake of their health,"

"I know how greedy all of you are here in the kitchen, and If you still continue to cook these kinds of foods in this company's cafeteria, you all might as well pay for their hospital bills and step out of this company," Klein said glaring at the cooks along with Abigail who's beside her, "you won't change our pays?" the cooks asked greedily, "as I said, I'm doing this for the sake of MY company," He said crossing his arms, "alright, you got yourself a deal, we will no longer serve those UNHEALTHY foods," they sighed and rolled their eyes but in the same time they are smiling with greed.

"are you sure you're letting those cooks stay? you know your grandmother once tried to fire them but they don't hold the company," Abigail said with concern, "who said I'm letting them stay? once I find a replacement I'll gladly kick them out of this company," Klein said looking straight ahead, "should I find employees online who are willing to serve rightfully?" Abigail asked, "of course, you have my permission," Klein said,

"you know, we became so close after we just met,"

"Yeah, I noticed that too," they laughed as they walked through the company,
