"Chapter 30- Kill him (2)"

Klein looked at the window as the moonlit through his glass window, "It's 4:50 am, they should be on board right now," he said while rubbing his eyes, he continues to have his own world for a minute, 'I feel nauseous, is it because I lack sleep,' he pondered while rubbing his stomach. A muffled voice went through Klein's door, "Klein," they said while knocking on his door, he opened it and saw the butler in front of his door holding a letter, "What is that?" he asked as he blinked multiple times in front of the butler,

The butler noticed Klein's eyebags, 'he lacks sleep, perhaps he has insomnia,' the butler pondered as he gave the letter to him, "A letter from our new neighbor that will be arriving this day, the two of you seems close... the fact that he sent you a letter," The butler said trying to butt someone's business, "yes, we are," he answered shortly and nodded to thank the butler. He soon closed the door leaving the butler outside,

"Son of a bit-" he froze as soon as he saw Belinda looking at him with crossed arms, "Son of a what? kindly continue," she smiled while clenching her fist, the butler gulped and looked down, she soon then frown and grabbed them on the hair, "You're fired, step out of this mansion," she said while dragging him out.

[2:47 am... few hours before their flight]

"Sir," his secretary called him with files in his hands, "What is it," he asked while preparing their luggage, "Madam is preparing to assassinate Klein Adrien," Tristan froze while folding his sister's clothes, he looked at his secretary with an anxious gaze, "Locate the assassin, immediately," he ordered while trying to breathe well, "What are you gonna do, Sir?" his secretary asked while grasping the files.

He sighed as he stared blankly at the floor, "Take care of my sister, go along with her on the flight," he ordered closing the luggage. A quiet but intense tension surrounded them, "Sir! that's absurd-" Tristan interrupted his sentence, and smiled softly, "I'll soon buy a flight on the way to Canada, once I finished some business of course," he said in a stable composture. He walked towards him and patted his back, "You're such a loyal secretary of mine, I am glad to have you working on me," he said as if he was saying his farewell, the secretary ran out of words and started to nod while hiding his tears under his glasses, "I... I will track the assassin, sir... please be safe," the secretary took a step back and bowed to show his obedience and respect to his Boss.

"Thank you, Angelo," Tristan smiled again but this time with hidden sorrow in his eyes.

---

"Kindly deliver this letter to Klein," He asked for a favor while tying a ribbon on the letter, "It might be impossible sir, it will take too long," Angelo said as Tristan handed the letter to him, "Then find a way, I want the letter to be delivered before the flight begins," he stubbornly requested, Angelo, gave in while putting the letter inside his coat, "I'll find a way sir," he obediently accepted his stubborn favor.

"Thank you," he again thanked as he opened the door outside of his apartment, Angelo felt anxious about his Boss' safety but he couldn't do anything due to his Boss' wish.

'I want to go alone,'

Angelo made a phone call,

'RIIIINNNNGGGGGG'

"Follow Tristan's footstep," he ordered and hung up, he grabbed the letter inside his coat and tried to find a way to deliver the letter immediately.

---

"Who are you?" asked a group of thugs in black when Tristan immediately blocked their way, "What about you? who are you to kill someone for the sake of money," Tristan asked while holding a crowbar.

"Hey, I think-" Klein opened the door seeing no one, "oh, he must've left," he said while closing the door and locking it inside,

'Sigh' he exhaustedly sighed as he opens the letter, 'he could've chatted me instead of delivering a letter,' he thought opening the letter, reading every sentence, "A poem?" he confusedly read it again.

"You promised that we'll do everything when we're finally get reunited,

seems like I broke the promise first due to my impatience,

I somehow can't live without you,

You made me believe... hope is still within us during our darkest time,

However, I can't love you in the dark, not yet

I must seek for light, for the both of us,

for us to love again."
