Dear reader,

Many tragic incidents have been occurring due to the sudden increase in the human population which had now concluded in limited resources.

Aliron was a government-based society created solely to help decrease the population. They trained bounty hunters called the Apex Alphas to kidnap young teenagers, utilizing them as weapons to kill. Anyone attempting to escape Aliron will be terminated as well as their families. As part of decreasing the population, Aliron had created steps taken to ensure that the plan did not fail. The first stage was to create test subjects that have proved successful. The second stage was announcing the purge which will happen shortly…..

Prologue

A scream consumed the atmosphere, the type of scream that evoked extreme pain and suffering. I kept running knowing that one-stop would give them an advantage over me. The ground shook beneath my feet. The crown trees obscured every inch of sunlight exposing the forest as if aware that happiness never existed in this place. My insides felt as if they were tightening together, producing vocals to try and tell me to stop and eat. I continued to sprint as fatigue gradually overcame me. I tried my best to navigate my way through the treacherous woodland, hoping that I was getting closer to reaching my safe haven.
