Ichorhold Town had formed a contract with the demons which the townspeople agreed to provide a young woman on every blood moon in exchange for the town's safety and prosperity. On this particular blood moon, the young woman was Melva Winchell.

Duke Vance of Nightwind was a werewolf living in the demon kingdom, cursed to always feel cold and ultimately freeze himself to death. Only a special human could bring him warmth with their physical touch and save his life. The human was, once again, Melva Winchell.

Blood Moon's Contract

The happy occasion of the family reunion was interrupted by a knock on the front door of the house. They were forced to pull away from their group hug. Mr. Halpine offered to open the door for them and then Melva heard Vance's voice.


"Excuse me, I am sorry for bothering you. Is this the residence of the Halpines? Is Melva here? I am her fiancé."


Upon hearing Vance's voice, Melva immediately went to the front door. Mrs. Halpine also followed behind her out of curiosity. Melva found both Vance and Rosetta standing in front of the house. The cloth bag was no longer with Vance, so they must have already dropped by Melva's house and then come back to town to search for her.


 As soon as Vance spotted Melva by the entrance, he  seemed relieved in an instant. He must have been worried. "Ah, here you are. I was looking for you."
