44.) No Turning Back

Before setting out the next day, Dawn wanted to apologize yet again to the group for deceiving them all this time. Even though she was at fault, Dawn didn't want her lie destroying their team and how they thought of her. Dawn stood before them with her head hung down, fiddling with the long sleeves of her sweatshirt.

"Look, we get it! So you can stop apologizing already!" Kris was over his feelings; he did not hold any resentment towards Dawn. 'It was just one lie, so Dawn should stop making a big deal over it.' Kris eagerly wanted Dawn to return to her usual self, tired of hearing her apologize with a cloud of gloom hanging over her head.

"My only role is obeying my mistress's orders and making sure nothing disrupts her happiness. Besides that, nothing else holds great importance." Rin's expression of devotion and loyalty was sincere and firm.
