Rias loved her mother; she really did, but did she have to roleplay so much. She hadn't meant to spy, she really hadn't, but Rias snuck into their security room to see her father eating popcorn and watching the negotiation. Yes, her mother had roleplayed as a cheating wife and fucked her friend. Well, she fucked every craftsman with big dreams. Her mother thought it was hilarious when they found out she wasn't serious. Afterward, she began negotiations with her opponents emotionally off-balance.
She didn't know how to feel seeing Red, someone she had started getting to know, plunge into her mother repeatedly. When it's just an ordinary artist, she would ask her father to pass the popcorn. But this was someone she knew, if only a little. The fact that Red could have multiple organisms and continue pounding was both attractive and disconcerting. She knew dragons had a ton of stamina, but he wasn't slowing down.
"Will they finish in time to close negotiations and prepare for dinner?" Rias asked.
Her father popped another handful of popcorn in his mouth, catching a piece in his beard. Rias couldn't help but giggle. There were a few pieces in his hair as well.
"What, is there something on my face?" Her father asked with a smile, then shook his hand. "I'll clean up later. How is your peerage? Have you added anyone strong recently?"
Rias didn't miss the deflection to a topic she didn't enjoy. "Of course, I found a boy that shows some promise. Koneko says he smells faintly of dragons like mother undoubtedly does now." Rias said as Red blasted a load in her mother's face.
"I think that's enough for now; if we keep going, we'll be late for the feast." Her mother said.
Red moved off the bed, and suddenly the air steamed around him. In moments he was clean of their earlier lovemaking.
"What do you know of underworld bylaws?" Her mother asked.
Rias smacked her face. Her mother was really using this method. Bylaws prevent devils from killing those invited into their homes for negotiations. They protect low-class devils from the high class and keep negotiating relatively balanced. But some loopholes remove those protections. One of which was the rape of the noble lady of a house.
Her mother was covered in dragon spunk from head to toe. Such an accusation from a noble lady could be ruinous. It's why her mother wielded it in negotiations.
But they were dealing with a dragon near enough to her brother's power. So unless her mother had a dragon-slaying demonic blade hidden away somewhere, this couldn't end well.
She had warned him not to sleep with her mother, but no Red had to just paint her mother white.
"Not a thing, enlighten me, my lady," Red said.
"They are protections self-imposed by high-class devils to protect low-class devils or other weaker entities when entering in negotiation." Her mother said.
"So, they don't apply, or are you saying I should give you the protection of these bylaws as the stronger party. How do I know you're not making them up? Protecting the weak or uneducated in your society doesn't sound very devilish, or is that propaganda?" Red said.
"Oh, that is an interesting concern. If someone stronger enters a noble's home, the bylaws are normally mute. Perhaps that shouldn't be the case. If the bylaws were anything more than a formality, then he might have a point. Even this is more a game than legal maneuvering; your mother certainly loves her roleplay and collect these recordings." Her father said.
"Is that why there are dozens of camera angles and zooms?" Rias feigned a gasp. "You aren't into cuckold play, are you?" Rias asked.
"Your mother takes a potion to prevent pregnancy for her discretions." Her father said.
She didn't want to say it, but it made her feel much better knowing there was no chance for Red to knock up her mother. Of course, Rias could overlook this as just bonding time with her mother to establish himself as a friend of her family.
The negotiations wouldn't be that brutal; after all, they were just laundering gold. They'd establish some fake mines in Africa, transport the gold to the US, and exchange it with the government treasury. From there, they would give Red a position in one of their family businesses and pay him a salary. To all eyes, it would be above board. She could see a 3% to 10% fee depending on how the negotiations went.
Her mother decided to continue. "That is an interesting way to look at our situation. But you're a young dragon, and my son is experienced in war. What battles can you put to your name?" Her mother said.
Rias wanted a drink; she didn't care if she was too young or what it would do to her growth. Her mother knew how temperamental dragons were. On the other hand, Red had been on his best behavior so far, and besides the misunderstanding, her plan had moved forward without a hitch. Mother's hints at impregnating the both of them were creepy had better been roleplay.
Red's response was unbelievably calm and logical. "If we fought, everyone for hundreds of miles around will die. Gremory castle and its surrounding lands would cease to exist. That's what happens when beings at our level fight. And if I was losing, I would cause as much property damage as possible." Red said.
He was the responsible one of the two; it was the young dragon being responsible.
"Your mother will make him pay for that." Her father said.
Yes, Rias knew her father was right.
"I offered you Rias' hand in the throes of passion, but you have no standing in our society. I'd have to be mad to allow you to wed her and madder still to allow you to bed her. But if you were to become a devil, that's another story. Why I wouldn't even charge a fee to move my son-in-law's hoard." Her mother said.
Rias knew it was a trap. Turning him into a devil wasn't the same as offering a daughter in marriage. It was all a trick, a play on words. Sure, if Rias married Red, he wouldn't pay a fee, but a newly made devil still had no standing to marry into a Duke's family. He had no showing, only power, a problem he attempted to fix with his show. If he'd fought her brother, then maybe things would have been different. Then again, her mother might declare ignorance, and her brother could keep quiet. Numbers were yet to be discussed; this was still the opening of negotiations. Worse of all, her mother still dripped with dragon spunk.
"So, if I stole her and we married, you'd launder my gold without a fee. Is that what you're saying?" Red said.
It was a very dragon response, and her heart hammered for it. "Come on, Venelana, get it together; you're not dealing with a powerful human here; he's a dragon. If you give him an avenue to attack, he'll strike it vigorously. Your only hope is to take power off the table. Blind him with bullshit and tricky words." Her father said.
That's right, it was like her mother was in a daze, half trying. Undoubtedly, she was tired of the betrothal issue, but her mother wasn't on top of her game.
"Hello, Father and sweet little sister, I'm coming in." Her brother said.
The Satan looked his naked mother up and down. "Damn, did mom fuck his dragon form?" Sirzechs said.
"Watch your mouth; that's still your mother." Her father scolded.
"Sorry, did mom discretion Red in his dragon form?" Her brother asked.
Rias wanted to take some pills and call it a night, but the party had yet to begin. She still had to get ready, and the guests were due to start arriving in an hour and a half.
Her mother spoke up. "Steal my daughter, and we won't do business son in law or not. We have an image to uphold." Her mother said while completely covered in dragon spunk. "Come, I need to get ready; we can negotiate in the shower." Her mother said.
"Well, that's it; we should get ready for the party." Her father said as he switched the cameras to the bathroom to ensure he wouldn't miss anything.
…
This experience was a first. I've never negotiated with a woman covered in sperm who wanted to be taken seriously, so I didn't. Obviously, this was all one big LARP, and everything would be done after the party.
The shower head was an old brass thing covered in enchantments. Even the porcelain tub had enough magic on it to survive a thousand frat boys. The woman tossed me a bottle of soap and exposed her butt to me. I fit myself inside, and the woman groaned.
"I thought we were done." I shoved it in deeper and started soaping us up. "Even teenagers don't do it this much what kind of stamina do you have." Venelana groaned.
Honestly, it wasn't my fault. The Parameters made my body tens of thousands of times stronger than any ordinary human. So a single time wasn't enough to cause a noticeable difference in my stamina. Of course, I usually didn't have much sex because I had better things to do, but I might have some fun if she wasn't pretending this was a part of negotiations.
I rubbed the soap in as I rubbed her titties and pulled on her nipples. At my touch, the tight pink flesh stood on end as I drove myself home in her surprisingly durable MILF cunny.
"Everyone will know we had sex if you keep this up, including my daughter and her peerage." I lifted her legs up and continued to pound into her like an animatronic fuck machine. When I came, she squeezed tightly as I filled her. This woman was hot, and I couldn't stop filling her. Venelana's voice took on a purring tone. "You know you're wasting your time; I can't get pregnant; I took a potion just in case." She said.
I really couldn't care less. Instead of answering, I pulled out of Venelana with a wet pop to let her overworked pussy spill out its contents. "We should make sure you're nice and clean." I took her soap and covered my dick with it before lining up with her ass.
"No, absolutely not. I have one rule, exit only. I won't even let my husband have my ass." I stared down at the obviously well-used hole.
"It will be an entrance for me." I slapped her ass, pressed against the hole, and Venelana giggled as I pushed in.
"Emmm! No, you dirty dragon stop fucking my ass; I'm the Duchess of Gremory." The shower curtain opened, and Rias poked her head inside.
"Hey dear, I'm sorry, but this shower is occupied. Your little friend and I are using it to save time." Venelana said.
"Mother just set the fee at 3%. it's your birthday, and I know you deserve to have fun, but if you spend all your time fucking my friend, you won't get to spend time with your family." Rias turned her attention to me. "I warned you not to sleep with my mother, and look what happened, we're all rushing to get ready for the party," Rias said.
I pulled out with a pop and tried to shake the lust off. "Sorry, Rias, I may have gotten carried away. Are you ok?" I asked.
"Well, the night hasn't even begun, and I'm already exhausted, and my head won't stop pounding. Riser will undoubtedly show up." Rias glared at her mother. "Did you have to invite him?" Rias asked.
"I can't invite the Phoenix family without inviting him. But, honey, he isn't as bad as you make him out to be, and your father worked hard to negotiate the contract for you. All you have to do is have one heir with him, and then you can kick him out of your bed forever." Venelana said.
I shrugged. "If you hate Riser that much, don't even invite him to your bed. Artificial insemination is a thing. What are the odds of his regeneration not only passing on but meshing well with the power of destruction?" I asked.
They were both demonic powers, but that didn't mean they would merge well in a child. Supposedly they came from the original Lucifer, but there was also an original Satan at one time who was Lucifer's brother. That's what Reddit said. So, if they meshed well originally, they should be able to recombine. Honestly, it would be easier just to get those powers as drops and be done with it. I knew the Phoenix Demon mini dungeon was at the Phoenix estate. It was also an A-rank dungeon, and Camellia wouldn't last a second there. I knew Phoenix regen was a drop along with tears. Neither of those would meld well with me if I didn't have the Light's Shadow skill. Still, I needed some demonic skills first before I went for the Phoenix flames and regeneration. Baal skills were at Baal castle in the S-rank dungeon, and Gremory skills were here in the A-rank Gremory dungeon.
"It's a random chance, but if we don't take those chances, we'll lose either way," Venelana said.
"What if I offered Rias a regeneration ability?" I asked. Getting such a skill wasn't impossible, but I'd have to pinch my pennies afterward. I'd have to trade a fruit of knowledge, throw in a few million gold, and a few A-rank skills. Gentle Darkness was an A-rank border lining S-rank skill. Any pure dark type would kill for it or pay through the nose. Equipping it would also remove any chance of using a light-based skill. One of its most desirable features was regeneration from the darkness. Combine that with darkness mastery and a solid abyss, destruction, or infernal defensive skills, and a user can reliably regenerate and withstand practically any damage at their rank. Unfortunately, it also increased a user's light weakness.
"How potent is this regeneration ability?" Venelana asked. She backed up against me to rub her silky-smooth skin against my chest.
I couldn't help but admire her for the dangerous, manipulative devil that she was. For a moment in that bed, I thought she was serious. But, honestly, I was relieved that she wasn't. Stealing wives was an excellent way to make tons of enemies very quickly. Dragons have been sealed in sacred gears before, and I wasn't interested in joining them. If they perceived me as a problem, how long would it be before Ajuka Beelzebub had a working model of an artificial sacred gear capable of catching me? Even if my power continued to grow, Ajuka was a genius. I might have to destroy the whole underworld to make sure I got him.
"If I wasn't incompatible with it, I'd take it for myself. The ability is named Gentle Darkness, and while under cover of night or shielded from the light, it regenerates the user's body." I shrugged. "It isn't cheap, and gold alone isn't enough to pay for such a rare ability."
Venelana washed the soap out of her hair. "Don't get your hopes up; this marriage is important. Your father can't afford to drop it just because another party offers more. The ink is dry, and your only way out is to beat Riser in a rating game. Even if Red was willing, your evil pieces wouldn't affect him. Red had no standing to challenge Riser to a duel. That would only work if he was a member of your peerage. I doubt Red wants to make an enemy of both the Phoenix and Gremory houses." Venelana pursed her lips. "But I might have something that can increase your odds.
The MILF had a point. Killing Riser might get me Rias, but it would more than likely close the door on peaceful underworld excursions. But I wanted Rias, Venelana, and many other women. Did that mean I needed an assassin? Perhaps if I should look into summoning an assassin of some kind to deal with this problem or look at Reddit for advice. That is, if I couldn't wield my power and resources to acquire Rias. I was sure there was a way to get what I wanted through wealth.
I'd have to play it by ear.
…
Sirzechs
The security room was quiet enough to hear a pin drop, as the humans say. Sirzechs was thankful that his father had the decorum not to just tear up the Phoenix contract on the spot. Did Red even know what he was offering? Well, obviously, he claimed that he'd have already taken the ability on himself if it were compatible. The ability to just regenerate under cover of darkness would make someone like himself invincible. All he would have to do is form a barrier with the power of destruction that not even light could pass through. It wasn't even that hard for a wielder of destruction.
Rias was bound to gain the technique required in a few years or months if she trained hard. It made him think about what the underworld would look like in a few short decades. Soon, abilities like sacred gears that could be bought and traded might become the norm. Sure, Red was the only one who could wield that power now, but it didn't seem to come directly from Red.
Sirzechs wondered what he'd have to trade to gain the ability. A few nights with his Griffia wouldn't be entirely out of the question in exchange. What if the abilities could be passed on? New generations of devils might be born with the ability to regenerate endlessly under cover of darkness. Well, they'd have to wait and see the extent of the regeneration.
"This change is upsetting. Everything that we've known has been upended with unknown possibilities. While this volatility increases the chance for profit, it also magnifies the risk of loss. Sacred gears were always consistent; only humans were born with them, and even the reincarnation system hadn't unbalanced our power. But now we have a dragon who can give sacred gear like power, can control his instincts to a respectable level, and desires to interact with us without demanding concessions on our part. Son, are you stronger than that beast?" His father asked.
Sirzechs measured the power output of the dragon and his own. "If that display was the dragon's full power before, then I am at least 10x stronger. But a fight between us would still be costly, and I don't think he's displayed any of his truly dangerous abilities." Sirzechs said.
"More unknowns, how can I trust Rias to such a creature? Making business agreements is one thing; your mother enjoys her games, and the dragon hasn't caused us any real harm. Inviting such a curiosity to your mother's birthday feast isn't out of the question. House Sitri may be displeased by his presence." His father said.
He knew that Serafall was pissed, and Sona had acted strangely after receiving her power. Clearly, there were rules to the abilities. Having them meant using them. Instead of sin energy, Sona desired gold like a dragon would. What would Gentle Darkness require Rias to do? While these abilities were, for the most part unknown, their function held some clues.
"Well, the best time to take advantage of a volatile system is when almost no one else knows about it. If we discover the new mechanics first, then there will be nothing to worry about." Sirzechs said.
"You believe he will trade with the other factions." His father said.
"He is an unaffiliated dragon exchanging his hoard for liquidity. Doesn't that seem strange? Unless his values have changed." Sirzechs said.
…
Sona
Sona sat in an ornate chair 1 of 10 with her family sigil on it. Gaps lined the seating across a vast table built to sit 720 nobles. Unless the Gremory house expected a sudden return of many extinct houses, Sona expected someone made a mistake. The wood itself was strange. She'd never encountered it before, and the spiritual energy flowing from it made her want to burn it. The table itself was a massive piece carved with the images of the 72 pillars. She'd seen it like before in Red's house. It was the same wood as Red's coffee table.
Next to the Gremory family in his own seat with an image of a black dragon on a golden field sat Red. His chair was much larger than any of the others, clearly built for a man of his frame. At the head of the table were three of the satans Sirzechs Lucifer, Adjuka Beelzebub, and her sister. Even they were sitting far apart due to the sheer number of chairs between them. Rias looked a little nervous under Lady Germory's gaze. By her hand gestures, Sona could only conclude Rias had sent a typo in her text.
"It's a shame the chairs and table look so nice." Her mother said.
Sona smiled. Her suitor ended up on the other end of the table. The few times he tried to say something didn't carry over. Even the Phoenix family weren't much better off. Sona would have congratulated Rias if it wasn't a blunder.
There wasn't much of a choice, she had to move, or no one would. Sona stood up, much to her mother's exasperation.
"Sona, what are you doing?"
"I'm moving my chair to the Gremory side," Sona said.
Her mother glared and huffed as if her disapproval wasn't obvious enough. Sona let it wash over her without a second thought. Honestly, her mother could be so dramatic. Of course, Sona couldn't be seen carrying a chair of all things. Sona spotted a Gremory butler and made him carry the chair. The second she started moving, the other nobles stood up and did the same. Sona placed her chair between Rias and Red and sat down.
"What have I missed?" Sona asked.
"Rias, my sister, is eager to go dress shopping with you; why haven't you returned her calls." Riser said in greeting.
Riser's tone and the leer in his eyes said one thing and his voice said another. She didn't like the way he couldn't keep his eyes off Rias' bust. Red turned his head to the side and she could feel the slow but inevitable power take notice of the Phoenix. He was anticipating something she knew that for sure. The way his eyes surveyed the room made her shiver.
"There won't be a wedding Riser; now return to your seat," Rias growled.
Riser's sister Ravel approached and placed her chair beside Red. She plopped into the seat and glared at the dragon-man in the XXXL tux. "I like you." The little girl said before beginning a speech of the ups and downs of Magical Girl Milky Spiral Seven. Suddenly the feeling of impending destruction restrained itself.
Red had the decency to nod and say that's good or bad at the appropriate moments. Riser stepped in close as Ravel's words grew louder.
The scion of house Phoenix stumbled before correcting himself, almost spilling wine on Rias' dress.
Red perked up at that and Sona knew this would turn into a bloodbath. As far as the dragon was concerned, she figured he must think of Rias as his. Anyone arrogant enough to soil a dragon's treasure it its presence deserved what he got. Destruction had already appeared in Rias' hand all it would take was a spark to throw this dinner party into a bloodbath. She was tempted to direct Red after her own suitor as well.
Riser slammed the glass on the table and pointed at Rias. "At least I'm trying to make it work. But, come on, Rias, look at it from my point of view. I'm the third son in line, and dad said he'd cut me off if I didn't do my duty. So, what else is a third son good for other than trading off to establish marital ties?" Riser said a little bitterly before downing his wine in one gulp. "I can't break this off no matter what." Riser said and his words managed to temper Rias' anger.
Lord Phoenix came over and placed a hand on his son's shoulder before dragging him off.
Sona felt sorry for Riser as the boy found his seat next to Lord Phoenix. Personally, she'd seen high school plays with better actors than Riser Phoenix's drunken show. The eyes, the tension of his movements, and the stumbles that were caught too early showed Riser to be a poor actor. With all the practice he had being drunk she thought he'd have that act down.
Her attention turned to the dragon in the room. Red seemed utterly bored out of his skull while Rias sulked in her seat still wearing her ruined wine soaked dress. A servant quickly came over and offered Rias a towel.
"Sona, I feel like crap now. What should I do? I don't want to marry Riser, and he can't surrender either." Rias asked.
Could Rias not get pulled into emotional bullshit for once in her life?
Sona looked over to Red, who moved the conversation to music and looked slightly more animated. Before she could formulate her thoughts, her own suitor approached with two wine glasses in hand. "It seems we are to be wed." Kamekkusu Vassago said. And just like that, Sona's mood took a nosedive while Ravel continued to talk up Red about music and any number of subjects.
"Listen, you seem nice, but I'm not marrying anyone who I don't approve of;" She had to put forth a challenge and she was tired to beating these loser in chess. Then she glanced to see Red returned to his bored expression. He'd seemed so animated at the thought of crushing Rias before. "If you can't beat Red in a fight, then you aren't worthy," Sona said and turned her head towards Red. Ravel had graduated from sitting on her seat and chatting to playing with the gold and jewels in Red's beard and sitting in his lap.
Kamekkusu downed both wine glasses and placed the upturned empty glasses on the tablecloth. "Attention everyone, in honor of Lady Gremory's birthday, I challenge Red..." The devil cupped his mouth but still spoke in his booming voice. "What is your house name?"
"I have no house," Red said.
"I challenge Red the houseless to a rating game to honor Lady Gremory's birthday," Kamekkusu said.
"Sure," Red said without hesitation. Sona couldn't believe her luck; she just dodged an engagement with her virginity intact. Now all she had to do was kick back and watch Red destroy him.
