Fu Jian was amused by Yu Holea's words.
How could she be even so sure?
"What if I have already called him?" Fu Jian questioned.
Yu Holea raised an eyebrow and shook her head,
"Then you wouldn't be standing here."
Fu Jian: "..." Just how much she misunderstood his relationship with Yu Sicong?
After a moment of silence, Fu Jian sighed. "Fine," he muttered. "I'll call."
Yu Holea's eyes lit up. She pulled out her phone and quickly dialed Yu Sicong's number.
As the phone rang, she handed it to Fu Jian, motioning for him to speak.
But Fu Jian just stared at the phone, his throat tightening.
He wanted to open his mouth and confidently tell Yu Sicong about his situation, but for some reason, he felt like crying.
His heart ached, and his pride crumbled under the weight of his emotions.
Yu Holea was about to urge Fu Jian to speak when she noticed his expression and froze.
