[Chapter 32] scathach

I will slowly start the romance of Jeanne and Artoria. Not much, of course, don't want to rush things as I did with Nero and Eresh.

No idea how to romance Artoria, though. I don't want to ruin her character but my brain can't think of a way to make her develop feelings for him.

After tormenting even more mannequins with space bending bullets, Alex decided to find a certain deredere.

So, instead of walking, the snake chose to teleport to her location.

~Location Change~

As Alex felt the smell of nature, he curiously looked around. As he sent a wave of mana to discover where Eresh was, he paused.

He looked through his memories and noticed the area. He was at the dimension where they found Ereshkigal's weapon.

He mentally noted to ask her its name.

After confirming that he and Eresh were indeed at this place again, he walked towards her.

The sound of his feet crushing the grass beneath entered his ears for a while before he found Eresh.

He saw her helping the villagers with their daily tasks.

Smiling, he activated Infinity and used its powers to step into another dimension. He could see her, but she couldn't see him.

Such was the power of space-bending.

He jumped on top of a house, waiting for her to finish. He didn't want to disturb her.

~Time Skip~

Well, Ereshkigal wasn't alone. She had Jeanne and Artoria helping her. He should have made a more detailed scan. Not that he minded it.

Alex shook his head with a smile before bending the space to appear in the middle of the group of blondes.

He hugged the Goddess of the Underworld from behind, surprising her.

"Eek!" She yelped in shock, earning the attention of Artoria and Jeanne.

"Master...?" (x2) Artoria looked at him oddly while Jeanne went in front of him and patted his head.

"...?" Alex looked at the Maiden of the Orleans with a confused look. It's not like he didn't like it, but why now, and why here of all places?

Besides, he was still hugging Eresh, so the sight was strange to behold. A young guy hugging a young girl while getting patted by a young woman.

Some of the locals that saw them decided to ignore the sight. They didn't want to think that the man who took out the weapon of the legends was a doted young boy.

After all, not everyone had seen his appearance before. Out of the few hundred thousand people, only about four thousand had seen his face.

"Jeanne?" Alex asked the saint after a few more seconds.

"Eresh was right; your hair is so soft," Jeanne said while messing up his hair further.

'Eresh said what?' Alex inwardly questioned but didn't speak it out loud. He could see, no, feel the blush on Eresh's face.

"That's good and all, but can you do it elsewhere?" He asked as nicely as possible, forcing each word out with pure willpower.

The Big Sister of Everyone had a disheartened look before she reluctantly withdrew her hand.

Alex inwardly scolded himself. Even though he was indifferent towards most of the other people, he didn't like his Servants being sad, not at all.

Even though his mentality had changed from when he was a human, he still had (most) emotions.

Alex remembered the time where he had to constantly keep his telepathy open to understand the feelings of humans. Of course, he had solved that problem now.

He might have become a bit chaotic, though.

Putting a stop to the hurricane of thoughts in his mind, he withdrew his arms around Eresh and smiled at her embarrassed look.

He loved this woman, perhaps too much.

He forced another flashback from appearing and looked at Artoria and Jeanne again.

"So... Do y'all want to do something?" He asked. He could just read their minds, sure, but he didn't want to.

Where was the fun in that? Besides, he still had his (questionable) morals.

"I don't know," Artoria answered, followed by Jeanne.

"I see. How about we mess with Cu?" He asked.

"What do you mean?" Eresh asked from the side.

"We summon his teacher." He answered.

"He has a tea–? Oh." Eresh thought for a bit before nodding.

"You mean Scathach? Sure." Jeanne agreed.

Artoria, being a woman of few words, just nodded her head.

Alex smiled, teleporting all of them out after. The Key of Infinite was convenient.

~Location Change~

The four of them appeared in the [Hub], at the area especially made for summoning.

"Alright, let's get started," Alex said before summoning Gae Bolg. He pumped magical energy into it, magic circles appearing around the spear as a result.

Oh, he had also made sure that Cu was in the Hub. The reason why he suggested messing with Lancer was that it would have been convenient to do so.

He was summoning a legendary warrior to mess with his Servant.

The magic circles around Gae Bolg attached to its handle, Alex throwing it immediately after.

FLASH!

This time his eyes didn't blind from the light. He had added multiple runes to the room.

"I came from the Land of Shadow. My name is Scathach. I guess I should call you Master?" A woman with a mask on her face said.

She had red eyes, long purple hair, and a full-body outfit that highlighted her body, with metallic shoulder pads.

"Yep. Either that or my name." He answered her while looking at her parameters.

"Uh-huh. Is that Cu I sense?" She looked in Cu's direction.

"Yep." Alex nodded.

"What has he been doing these days?" She asked curiously.

"Drinking, fighting with EMIYA, hitting on girls..." As he listed off Cu's doings, he saw a cold smile forming on Scathach's face.

Oops.

Lancer Scathach looks more like an assassin than Assassin Scathach, change my mind.
