Chapter 13

Apollo

He frowned as he looked at his wristwatch "I'm gonna have to go. I work tonight." He said, looking up at Faline, who gave him a confused look. "I thought you didn't have work at all today." He shrugs, running his hand through his hair. He didn't like that look on Faline. "I know, that's what I thought too. But it seems they need me in. They have deployed all other officers and need extras in case something happens. I'm so sorry." He says, and Faline only waves him off.

"It's fine. It's work, I get it. Stupid shit happens with me as well." He walks over to his bike, hopping on. "I'm dropping you off. And maybe even pick you up. Depends on how I feel." He jokes, causing Apollo to roll his eyes. He felt bad for having to leave Faline out of nowhere. But he just got the text, and duty calls.

He feels like he's feeling guilty for many things.

He walks over, lowering onto the seat. He grabs both of their helmets, and hands one to Faline. "Here." He says as Faline grabbed the equipment. "Thanks, love." He said softly, before slowly placing it over his head. Love? Did he just say, love? He smiles, making sure to hide it by sliding the helmet on his head.

"Ready?" The pink-haired boy turned around to look at Apollo, who gave him a thumbs up. He knew his hair was going to look terrible from the helmet, but he didn't care. He holds onto the gang leader's waist as he starts driving. There was something in the back of Apollo's head, that was plaguing him.

Apollo

The motorcycle slowed to a stop once the two made it to the Kumamoto Police Station. Apollo stepped off the bike. He turned around to look at Faline's disappointed face. "Have fun, ok?" He said, getting ready to drive off, however, Apollo stopped him. "I need to give you something, can you come inside real quick?"

Faline looked hesitant, not wanting to go into enemy territory. It made sense. But if he could trust Apollo in the Kitty Gang hangout, it's the least he could do. To make him feel better, Apollo reaches into his pocket and finds a black mask. He hands it to the pink-haired boy. "They won't even recognize you."  Faline glanced one more time at the building behind Apollo before nodding.

"Fine, let's go." Apollo smiles, leading him inside. He quickly walks him through the main working area and into his office, shutting the door. "Why did you want me in here?" He asks, sitting on the desk. Apollo walked up to him, stepping in between Faline's legs. He kisses him tenderly, his lips moving against Faline's delicate ones. After a minute he let go.

"I wanted to give you something." He says, smiling at the buzz. He walks towards the file cabinet in the corner of the room, pulling it open and scrolling through.

Faline

The gang leader watched silently, not understanding what was necessarily happening. He watches as the boy with brown hair gives him a file with the word KG1 on it. Faline tilted his head to the side in confusion. "I don't understand what-"

"Just open it." He nods, opening the file. They were different photos. Some were crime scenes, others weren't. But they all were photos of him. They seemed to be made in short bursts, mostly snapped while he was running away or shooting a gun. There were also photos of different weapons he used with a description.

"Weapons with pink engravings or pink and black colors were only used by KG1. All other members of the Kitty Gang must have only black."

They weren't wrong, only Faline used pink and black guns. But it was more because he liked the color. He looked up at Apollo confused. "What….. What am I supposed to do with this?" Apollo smiled. He tapped the vanilla file. "Throw it away, burn it. That's all the files the police station has of you. You don't want them to know anything, this is your chance."

Faline frowned softly, shaking his head. "You guys worked hard to try and find me. I only play fair games. It's yours, keep it." He says, handing the file back to Apollo. "Plus I like when you guys are on my trail, it makes everything way more fun." Apollo chuckled.

"That's fair." He places the file back into the file drawer, shutting it. "Now leave, I have work to do." Faline smiles, walking over to the glass window. He goes on the tips of his toes to open it, before hopping onto the window sill. However, before he could hop out, Hitori walks in.

Apollo

When Apollo heard the door click he looked up, seeing Tori walkthrough, with Faline still hanging from the window. He could tell Faline didn't know what to do either. The window was towards the front of the room, sometimes diappearing from sight. Tori walked through the door, not seeing Faline yet. "Hey, babe." She said as she walked in. Hitori happily pecked him on the lips before leaning on his desk. She had a bag with him.

"Hey, what's that?" He asked. She smiled softly, sliding the bag over to him. "I had a feeling you're going to come home late tonight, so I brought you some food." He wasn't hungry, since only a little while ago he ate with Faline. He looked up, to see the pink-haired boy gone.

Faline

He wouldn't lie and say that what he just saw didn't hurt him, cause it did. That kiss seemed so special. So perfect. They were so perfect. How could Apollo ever love someone as imperfect as Faline? It just didn't make sense. Their worlds collided in any and every way possible, and it hurt.

He sighed as he sat down on his motorcycle, revving it up before soaring off. He needed to call Dargan on the details. He was going to make sure Apollo was out and not at the police station before anything happened. He needed the details so he'll know everything. He wouldn't be able to meet Dargan there and help trash the place since he had to protect Apollo.
